JEW (Heb. yehûḏî;, Aram. yehûḏai; Gk. joudaios; Lat. judaeaus). Originally a member of the state of *JUDAH (2 Ki. 16:6; Ne. 1:2; Je. 32:12) and so used by foreigners from the 8th century BC onwards (e.g. Assyr. Yaudaia, ANET, pp. 287, 301). Non-Jews used this term of the former inhabitants of the province of Judah as opposed to other nations in post-exilic times (Est. 9:15; Dn. 3:8; Zc. 8:23) or of proselytes to *JUDAISM (Est. 8:17).
In the NT, ‘Jews’ is used of members of the Jewish faith or their representative leaders (especially Jn.), but in modern times, and especially in the state of Israel, this is sometimes extended to denote ethnic birth but not necessarily religion. Its precise connotation is therefore now often a matter of debate.

Oh boy... here we go. The elect, by definition, are those who God predestined to be Christians. There are multiple verses in the Bible... especially the New Testament... which refer to the elect and those who have been justified and received Christ's redemptive gift of salvation.
"For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matt. 22:14 ESV).
"And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short" (Matt. 24:22 ESV).
"And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night" (Luke 18:7 NIV)?
"I do not speak of all of you. I know the ones I have chosen" (John 13:18a NASB).
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit" (John 15:16a NKJV).
"this man [Christ Jesus] delivered over by the predetermined plan andforeknowledge of God" (Acts 2:23a NASB).

you are wrong his elect he had selected when the gentiles were still known as the beasts of the field with no laws. his elect he selected before the babylonian empire took over ushering the era of the gentiles. here is the sealing of the elect >>> ezekiel 9 vs 4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. <<< thousands of years before christ came he had selected his elect. his elect put together the old testament. habbakuk joel jeremiah isaiah micah nahum haggai zephaniah zechariah ezra etc etc. 144,000 of them

There are cases in which God's choosing of the nation of Israel is considered election. From a soteriological standpoint, however, election is based upon God's predestination of certain people to be His own. An illustration would be buying the foal of a dam before she has even given birth. Condition, appearance, abilities, and likelihood of success are undeterminable. Because of the plans for this colt-be it for farming, racing, or mating- one might consider buying the cold before it is born. No, I'm not including the fact that most colts are purchased for their pedigree because the pedigree of the elect is diverse and by no means favorable since we are ALL humans- faulty, temperamental, taxing, and bound to fail. Nationality is of no portance in relation to God saving a man.

You did blaspheme the Holy Spirit when you stated in no uncertain terms that He is not with living Bible-believing Christians of today. You are saying He is not performing that which is His pleasure- to comfort, convict, and enlighten the elect/predestined, justified believers.

yes there is a demarcation. the first fruits. and then later on the second fruits. the first fruits are lineage israel. these are the rulers of the next world. no spiritual israel would rule in the kingdom. spiritual israel would only be chosen as levites and priests isaiah 66 vs 21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites,” saith the Lord <<< the worthy amongst the second fruit aka spiritual israel
