To be honest I’m not a Roman Catholic because I believe the bible.
The reformation was a bit before my time, it was an outbreak of truth, I’m sure
it wasnt the first time and it won’t be the last time.

to us , there will be millions , which is a very large number ,but to God ,millions is a very small number.
I think God talking about coparation. A million is a large number, but If compare by billion, a milion consider few.

Jesus Said

matt22

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Jesus compare number of called, by number of chosen. It may 1000:2

unsave may 500 time in number compare to saved

You do know that the YouTube bishop or priest is a fake in your video right? His vestments are all wrong . One part is for formal occasion. The other for general mass . Along with the fact his attire is a mix of bishop and priest garments
Blessings
Bill
Hi Bill,

I do not know all the clothes of the RCC Priests or Bishops as I do not follow them so do not know if it is real or not in the Youtube video. I do know however there is many variations of their clothes, vestures etc depending on what country and variation of Catholicism and also there is time variation. I do know however that the statements used in the you-tube video are official RCC statements that have been published from many sources. Here are a few pics I found doing a quick google search out of interest that look similar.

Here are some photos I found from eastern Catholicism that look similar

Also out of interest note this scripture below from Revelations 17 and check out the pics....

"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations " -Revelations 17:4

A few more interesting photos linked with scripture.....

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
3, Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4, Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Revelations 20:11
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Isaiah 37:16
O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwells between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

Now look at these pics below.... who is sitting on the great white throne in Rev 20:11? Who is sitting between the two cherubims of Isa 37:16? Who is sitting in the temple of God showing himself that he is God in 2Thess 2:3-4?

Now from the earlier post just keeping everything together.....

Revelations 17:4
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations

What Church is arrayed in purple and red color and decked with gold having a golden cup?

Revelations 13:16-18
16, And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six

What is a reformation? More theology? Yahweh's truth is the same today, yesterdy and forever for He is so.

1- Christ purchased and established HIS church. It will never be ‘reformed’. Even though false churches branched off of His true church, including the Catholics, no man can ever do anything to improve the one true church of Christ.

2- Christ’s doctrine (the New Testament) says “Faith without deeds is dead.” and “A dead faith is no faith at all.” and “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Therefore, I cannot, in all good conscience, agree with any doctrine that teaches “Faith Alone” because the Bible sure doesn’t.
"Faith without works is dead" does not mean that faith is dead UNTIL it produces works or that we are saved through faith + works. In James 2:14, we read of one who says-claims he has faith but has no works (to back up his claim). This is not genuine faith, but a bare profession of faith. So when James asks, "Can that faith save him?" He is saying nothing against genuine faith, but only against an empty profession of faith/dead faith.

Man is saved through faith and not works (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9); yet genuine faith is vindicated, substantiated, evidenced by works (James 2:14-24). *Please pay close attention - The word "alone" in regards to salvation through faith "in Christ alone" conveys the message that Christ saves us through faith based on the merit of His finished work of redemption "alone" and not based on the merit of our works.

It is through faith "in Christ alone" (and not by the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ (Romans 3:24; 5:1; 5:9); yet the faith that justifies is never alone (solitary, unfruitful, barren) if it is genuine (James 2:14-24). *Perfect Harmony.* So man is saved through faith (rightly understood) IN CHRIST ALONE.

In essence, it sounds like you're denying the doctrine of sola fide. You'd be very comfortable in the Roman Catholic church.
What she is teaching comes straight out of the church of Christ (Campbellism).

Yes good topic... and why do we as protestants continue to follow the RCC over God's Word....

God's Sabbath is the 7th Day of the week that God commands his people to keep as a Holy day as a memorial of creation (Gene 2:1-3). The Sabbath was made for mankind and Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and commands us to obey it. (Ex 20:8-11; Mark 2:27-28) The 7th Day Sabbath is the 4th commandment and one of the 10. If we knowingly break any of God's 10 commandments we commit sin because sin is the transgression of God's Law (Romans 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20). If we break one of God's 10 commandments we are guilty of breaking all of them and are in danger of the judgement if we do not repent and seek God's forgiveness (James 2:8-12).

Sunday worship is a teaching and tradition of man over the Word if God and there is no command to keep it over God's Word that commands us to keep God's Sabbath as a Holy day.

Are we following God's Word if we are breaking God's commandments by following the traditions and teachings of man?

Matthew 15:3-9,

3, But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4, For God commanded, saying, Honor thy father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. 5, But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou might be profited by me; 6, And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7, Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8, This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9, But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Rev 14:12; Rev 22:14; Eze 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and kept the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56John 2:6; Matt 16:24; 1Cor 11:1; Eph 5:1-21; Pet 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

Who should we follow God or man?

As it is written let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when thou art judged. In times of ignorance God winks at but now commands all men everywhere to repent. His Word is calling all that have ears to hear... to fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. The 7th Day Sabbath is a memorial of creation, a holy day for the worship of the creator of Heaven and earth and a sign of those that follow him because they love him.

Here is how God's Sabbath commandment was changed from the 7th Day of the week as God's Word has stated (Ex 20:8-11) to Sunday Worship....

Should we follow the Word of God or the teachings and traditions of man? (see Matthew 15:3-9)

May God bless you all as you seek him through His Word....

Let's Talk Scripture everyone we are Protestants - sola Scriptura
We celebrate the 1. day of the week, as the first church did also. Thats sunday.

This year is the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.

Why did we, as evangelical Protestants, separate from the Roman Catholic Church?

There are two major reasons:

1) sola Scriptura - Scripture is the sole rule of faith, and not Scripture and tradition interpreted by the Roman Catholic church
2) sola Fide - Justification is by FAITH ALONE, and not faith plus works, including the sacraments. This concept of faith alone
includes the concept of imputed righteousness, or forensic righteousness.

The Five Solas are associated with the Reformation :

Solus Christus - Christ Alone
Sola Fide - Faith Alone
Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone...
Sola Gratia - Grace Alone
Soli Deo Gloria - Glory to God alone

Do you know the Five Solas, and what justification by faith alone, and imputed righteousness means? Do you agree with them?

I agree with all, but I think that Sola Fide was defined too radically to fight with the RCC.

It should be defined more like "we are saved by an (active) faith alone, without a need of religious (RCC) acts".

It should not be understood that faith without any works will save us.

"Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar?
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works."

James 2:21

Channeling the ghost of Ellen G. White again...
Nope... only the Holy Ghost who God gives to those who obey him (Acts 5:32) as they seek him through his Word (Isaiah 55:6-7). Jesus says; If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

BTW, what is a difference between ghost and spirit in English?

To me, ghost implies something that was left after somebody died and ghost busters catch it.

While spirit is a being with a spiritual basis of his body, its is not a remnant of any kind.

In essence, it sounds like you're denying the doctrine of sola fide. You'd be very comfortable in the Roman Catholic church.

The position of evangelicals is that salvation is by faith alone, but the faith is evidenced eventually by obedience.

By the way, faith and repentance are two sides of the same coin. I don't separate the two. Faith is turning toward Christ and a life of obedience to him, and Repentance is turning away from one's sinful self-centered orientation.

Repentance is an awareness of one's sinfulness, a loathing of it, and a resolve to turn from it, with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit and the power of God. It is not cleaning one's self up to come to salvation, as that is impossible. The unsaved man does not have the internal resources to do this.

Works oriented theology puts the cart before the horse, and glories in self-effort. That is why justification by faith alone is necessary. Fallen mankind cannot do any meritorious works, and cannot clean himself up to come to God.

Works oriented theology is God-dishonoring and causes me to heave.

Scripture is clear in teaching that the fallen man is helpless to do anything to resurrect himself. He is like a corpse laying on a table, dead and cold. Until God resurrects him spiritually, he can do nothing.

I suggest reading Ephesians 2:1-9. It's one of the best synopses of the Gospel. Also read the whole book of Romans about 10 times or more. The picture becomes crystal clear.

Thank God for the Reformers who understood that man-centered theology is God-dishonoring. Works oriented theology sounds spiritual on the surface, but it is God-dishonoring as it glories in self-effort. The default position of sinful man is to glory in self and not God.
I deny any doctrine that came about after the completion of the Bible- including, and especially, the Catholic Church. Never would I be part of such a false doctrine, of a group who murdered people for owning even one page of the Bible when it was translated into English. If you meant you to insult me, you couldn’t have done any better.

The ‘coin’ has way more than two sides. Squares of a sidewalk lead to a porch- which leads to a door, and it is not until you are behind that door that you are home safe. Being in the house is being in Christ’s body (church). When you are in Christ you are in His life-saving blood. The things that lead you to it, such as faith, repentance, confession, obedience, only save in the way that they lead you to what ultimately saves you- which is Christ’s blood.

What she is teaching comes straight out of the church of Christ (Campbellism).
What I teach comes straight out of the Bible. And the Church of Christ is not Campbell-ism. Many false churches branched off of the one Christ created. Some people recognized this and said “Wait a minute, we’ve drifted away from the truth.” Then they made a movement back to Christ’s teachings- that is not creating a new church- that is going back to the one Christ created- which is what Campbell did. Christ’s church existed long before Campbell. And like Campbell, we are all to stand up when we see people go away from Christ’s teaching, and lead them back to it- even if it is an entire congregation, or many congregations.

Time to wake up again.. they have crept in and now uniting world religions for the peace of mankind.. the Children of the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob know He sent His Son to forgive and reconcile us to Himself.

Now let us not believe anything other than what we are taught by the Holy Spirit all will and can test all things by the Holy Bible.

There is no other way but through Faith in the Messiah to GOD's Kingdom!

hold fast you saints of the Most High.

let no man deceive you...

Reformations restore, sort of like history restore feature on computers. That restoring is to another time period before things got out of whack and scripture has become of no effect.. Time periods is the factor in reformations

Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.Heb 9:9

I think the above(Heb 9:9 ) is a fulfillment of the promise below.(Isaiah 1:260

Isa 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

Christian is the new name he named His people in Acts. The word literally meaning ;residents of the city of Christ, built on its founder Christ. The city of righteousness , the faithful city .

She will come down from heaven on the last day persevered as His faithful, chaste virgin, bride.

This time period is before the apostate Jew demanded of God he give them a king to be used as a object of faith in their jealously of the surrounding Pagan nations that walk by sight . They did not want to walk by faith they rejected him not seen as King .He gave them over temporally to do what they should not of.

Now being restored to a time period with no figurehead the counselors spoken of in Isaiah as at the beginning ,his counselors, our delight, can have their proper place in each individuals heart.:

Psa 119:24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.leth.

The fifteenth century reformation. is a mirror image of the first century reformation. You could say a carbon copy same goal restore all things written in the law and the prophets (sola scripture)

Simply replace the name Abraham with Peter and go from apostate Judaism to apostate Christianity (Catholicism)

We are sanctified and justified by the blood of Christ who washed us clean from sin it was by the grace of god he sent his only begotten son to be our sacrificial lamb and the Holy Spirit which is the living word of god and gives us life . This is the father the son and the Holy Spirit “trinity”

I agree that faith exists before it produces deeds, but it will die if it does not produce deeds. I do not agree that we are not saved through faith and deeds. Let’s say between you and Christ’s blood (which is the only thing that saves) there is a sidewalk leading to a door, and behind that door is Christ’s blood- where you are home safe.

You must first go through the sidewalk in order to reach the door. The squares of this sidewalk are hearing, believing, confessing, repenting, obeying, baptism (the door)- then you are in Christ- thus in contact with His blood. Faith, like many of the other steps, only saves you in the way that it leads you to Christ’s blood. You cannot take one step of faith and say you’re done, you’re saved. Because it is not faith, but through faith, through repentance, etc- you must go through the path that leads to Christ’s blood.

You say faith is accompanied by works- that’s like saying (to make cookies) butter is accompanied by sugar, and flour, and chocolate chips. Faith saves, but it does not save alone without the other ingredients- works, repentance, confession, baptism, truth, faithfulness to God, etc.
Terrible, heretical analogy. Cambellite? Roman Catholic? JW? SDA?
