He doesn't believe Yeshua is the Messiah? Yeah, I'm not going to watch that then (especially when it's as long as the average movie nowadays).

W hy all the discussion? Yeshua is the transliteration from Hebrew to English, though it is not a translation, just as Jonathan is Yochanan. These names have actual translations. I have posted them so much I think this time people reading should research the meaning for themselves. A great big clue is when the name was given for the Child to Mary and Joseph.

Jesus is said by some to be the Greek tranliteration to English from the Hebrew transliteration to Greek, so, what's the beef?

There is no commandment to call our Savior Jesus or Yeshua, so I am very comfortable with either, though i really do like Yeshua lots. Yahweh bless all in Jesus Christ, now and forever, amen..........

Guys, the title of the video isn't about the names. It covers the Greek version of the NT, the Hebrew version of the NT, pharisaical and rabbinic tradition and talks about other historical aspects of Jesus' life. He basically gives the historical context for different scenarios in the NT.

I was confused as to whether or not he was a Christian, but if he's not then he at least has wisdom to offer. And he's not saying anything against Jesus. Because he's a Karaite Jew he actually refutes Rabbinic Judaism. So I'd still say it's worth a look.

I wonder if there are any here on these threads that are skilled enough to talk with nehemiah.
He has fallen for the lie that there has got to be peace in jerusalem if the Messiah has come.
Most teach the same thing when looking back at the cross
With all his understanding he misses the most awesome thing Yeshua is Messiah.
If you boubt what he teaches than post what you think and we as brothers and sisters can share with each other.
To dismiss some one because of who they are without trying to understand what he or she is saying is wrong.

I would recomend you at least listen and maybe say a little prayer for him and all those like him.
All are worthy to be saved even nehemiah Yeshua gave everything for all of us maybe one of the believers will say just the right thing and nehemiah will then fall to his knees onto the ROCK and recieve the truth.

I pray GOD give me the chance to meet nehemiah just once and go through the scriptures with him and share things GOD is showing those who will humble themselfs before HIS love and free gift Yeshua Messiah.

If any of you do meet nehemiah you better have the spirit of truth in you nehemiah is very sharp! Blessings

I have watched it in the past.

Anyone who believes in Jesus, Yeshua, Yahshua, or the man from Nazareth by any other name, invariably gets his information about this person from the collection of writings commonly known as the ‘New Testament’. Karaites by definition only believe in the Tanach and therefore someone who believes in Jesus could not be a Karaite. To understand why Karaites do not believe in Jesus, please see

Jesus as a word is not a translation from Greek, it is a transliteration. In other words a proximation in English to the pronounciation in Greek being carried from one alphabet to another.

If we were to talk about the difference in how the Greeks taught the Hebrews to reason things through, from the way they had for centries, and the transition, and when it happened, it would be a help in understanding what scripture says about God, but I don't see how this can help.

I have sometimes been put in a position of helping a Jew understand about Jesus. I could because I had learned why and how he thought, not from a "you dummy, you are bad" standpoint, but to understand. And I could help! I couldn't except to give him understanding, first.

Most was very originally in Hebrew, was translated into Greek very soon after it was written.
That is a fact. Can you imagine Peter writting in the greek no way. Peter wouldnt even talk to gentiles at first Yeshua had to come and give Peter a few dreams to help him out, Paul had to correct Peter in Gal. about his double standard.
These are in the N/T as a wittness to help all of us.

Well, Yahshua is the Messiah Son of Heavenly Father.

reject the talmud.. reject the pagans.. but reject not this:

John 14

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.8Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. 31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Above all languages and transliterations.. your heart speaks louder.

an obedient, willing heart my friends.

YAHSHUA means YAH SAVES :)
