You mentioned earlier that you'd rather hear from gay people or statistics instead of the bible (paraphrasing). As someone who would naturally struggle with same sex attraction if not for the grace and strength of God, I believe I may be of some help on this matter. I invite you to respond to my previous post, which states that whether or not it is a choice is irrelevant because acting on that attraction is a choice and that choice is still a sin, just as it would be a sin for a heterosexual person to act out sexually.

See that's where you're wrong, and also where everything always gets so sticky. God is not imaginary, He is more real than anything in this fake, deceptive, illusionary world. I absolutely agree that you may have been born with the attractions you have, and have a huge list of attractions to things against God's rules myself, like we ALL do. We are ALL born broken. The biggest misconception, in my opinion, is that YOU are to change it yourself to join the "Christian social club". I saw it that way for at least 5 years before He really saved me. See that's what becoming a Christian really is, it is coming to a place that you submit your self totally to His will while believing that Jesus died on the cross to pay the debt to God for your transgressions, and then the Holy Spirit comes into you regenerating you, ripping the veil removing all doubt that He is, and Jesus is the ONLY Truth. You don’t change yourself, He changes you and He works in each one of us personally and individually. What you think Christianity is, is just what this world has told you it is, to find out the Truth you have to go deep and ask Him directly. I personally love you brother, and if I can help you in any way, with questions, or my own testimony of how I was brought into Truth please don’t hesitate to ask. I’m sure there are others here willing to do the same as well. I am glad you’re here though, and feel there’s a reason for it.
Come on man, this person is lost and came to a Christian site to bring up these issues. Now they very well may have come to troll, but God may have directed him here to hear some truth, and I think we should start with love and then if they insist on just going against the grain to cause trouble then maybe something should be done, but not just "you are trolling and should be kicked out", all that does is reinforce that we are the hateful bigoted people the world tells them we are. I don’t disagree with the points you’re making, just the way you’re condemning and dismissing him straight away.
