Now that you mention it, I don't know about German voter registration methods at the time.

Was voting compulsory?
Beats me
I have no idea

I don't think Hitler was anything, as far as religion goes. I'm sure the marginalization and holocaust of the Jews, had nothing to do with religious ideology.

Wow, this is one heavy thread. I think Hitler was an occultist deep into Helena Blavatsky. I don't think I'm capable of answering the question, so conflicted. Was he demon possessed? I don't even know if that matters, Jesus loved the demoniac in the cave....I am stumped.

At the end of the day Hitler was lost....he allowed and facilitated the murder of what, 10 to 12 million people and his actions, which led to WW2 in Europe led to the death of untold millions, the destruction of Europe, England, half of Russia and other various locals....he euthanized the mentally retarded, those with handicaps and many elderly...he was a sick egotistical maniac and odds are highly in favor of him giving a whole new meaning to snap, crackle and pop right now as we type......

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked yet will not by any means acquit the wicked.....people like Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot etc.....are all paying the price for the path they chose.................

I've read stories of people enduring the holocaust and sharing the gospel sincerely from a place of love for the nazis that were torturing them. That is beyond human capabilities as far as I can surmise. That is Holy Spirit amazing.

*Temporarily breaks BDF boycott, again*

Either:

1. The 'one' is a supporter or one of the Nazis, or the offspring of someone who is.

2. The 'one' doesn't really have full knowledge of what Hitler actually did and assumed that he was just a normal bad guy, which he is most certainly not.

3. The 'one' knows that Hitler is burning in Hell now, so there is no longer a reason to bother wasting their energy on hating him.

4. The 'one' is a psychotic loon who needs to be thrown into a mental institution asap.

*Resumes BDF boycott once more*

Do you really know why you hate him with rage? Was it because of what you were told in school, by parents, friends, and the media and those with a vested interest that painted a picture to a wide audience that were gullible as many are today? Have you analyz(s)ed Germany and Europe of the 19[SUP]th[/SUP] century, WWI and WWII? I’m not trying to justify anything he did or did not do here. This type of objective research is fitting for any public individual, so as to be informed.

Beside it would be impossible to know this man’s heart. Only God would know that. I would leave this matter to him for any judgment. As believers we are to judge in righteousness. We cannot do that with Hitler because he is dead and we had not the opportunity to meet and know him on a personal level.

I guess if you cannot love Hitler, you may have no grounds to hate him either. Maybe your emotions and feelings drawn from your unreliable heart are running ‘too freely.’

Hitler was an Evolutionist.

He certainly believed in survival of the fittest and eugenics which was what began Planned Parenthood by Margret Sanger. She shared his same ideals.

The Bible speaks of a righteous anger. There is no doubt as to what was done during the Holocaust, and that Hitler had a plan to wipe out all Jews. I mean he even named it the "solution". So there's no issue in a Christian having righteous anger over people like Hitler. I dont know what gullible people you are talking about. But there is a point where God turns people over to a reprobate mind.

We dont have to know Hitlers mind,we know his actions. The Bible says by their fruits you will know them,so there is no judgment on our part. Hitlers heart was full of hatred, evil and demonic. We don't need to know him personally, history is quite clear on what type of person he was.

Hitler was an Evolutionist.
He was far worse...he was a proven Black Magic occultist....he studied the works of Aleister Crowley. Many of his top men were also into black magic and ritualistic magic...the ideas for war machines were not just thought up on their own...

Jesus loved the person possessed by demons. Did he love the demons? He sent them to their death. Although this raises other questions for me now, because we do assume the demons died when the pigs went onto the water and drowned. Does that mean a demon dies if its host dies?

Hitler sought to increase his power any way he could, so if he did turn to the occult, it would not surprise me. Atheists love to say that Hitler was a Christian simply because he was raised in a Roman Catholic home, and yet some of those very same atheists were also raised in Roman Catholic homes. Their lack of logic is sometimes comical.

As Christians we should love everyone. But I have to confess that when I think of people like Hitler and Kim Jong Un, I feel nothing but rage. How does one love these type of people?
To love; to forgive is not a matter of emotion. Its a matter of your will...."God said to do it, so it's my will too, that I do it."
