I expect an answer to my question.

Jesus said no man can come to the father but by me

so the question is
What will happen to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea and the rest of the prophets? Are they all lost? Because the word of God cannot be broken. Jesus said I am the door, no man can come to the father but by me.

No trick of the tongue please.
God's word cannot be broken...
It's a good question. By the mercies of our Lord Jesus Christ I understand this as;
When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, they fell from His grace. They were sent out of the garden. Man was made to dwell with God and God used to meet man in the cool of the day. Man did not regard this as the grace of God but this mankind rebelled against God by obeying the beast, whom satan used. So mankind was separated from God. God is Life and separation from Life is death.
The OT saints saints had no hope without Christ and they knew this and for this reason they kept looking for His coming as a Messiah on this earth. Where were these saints after their death? They could not be with God for obvious reasons. But they did desire to dwell with God and they were looking for the Messiah to take them Home. They were in prison to be delivered. Isaiah says that the Lord came to proclaim liberty to the captives (though I believe that the captivity is of sin) and opening of the prison to them that are bound. And we see that this being fulfilled in our Lord's life, death and resurrection. Where was the Lord three days and three nights? Was He not among these OT saints proclaiming liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound? Mat 27:52-53 was this not fulfilled at His resurrection? When the OT saints accepted His sacrificial death on the cross, which they were waiting for, they resurrected with Jesus and the Lord fulfilled His word - no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

God bless you all. I don't know how good I am able to explain as I am an Indian and English is not my first language.

It basically means, if you want to pray to Our Father, worship him or acknowlegde and believe in him. It is all worthless if you don't know about Jesus.

Basically this rebukes all the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses, because they teach/preach about God instead of Jesus Christ.
WHo is God, who God are they teaching about? we don't know.

If we know who Jesus Christ is, then we know who God is!

Many people say God and don't even know who he is, if we can know about his Son then we'll know who God is and can go to him.
So the "why we were sinner thing" God didn't hear us?

Salvation in the old covenant hinged on your perfect law-keeping performance; in the new, salvation is a work of God. This is why it’s called good news – it’s an announcement of a finished work. It is the declaration that God’s saving power is available to all who would receive it. And what power! It can literally turn a sinner into a saint, or a dead man into a living one…

(11) I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. (Joh 5:24, NIV)

the book of Hebrews tells us that the patriarchs of the old testament were men of faith..faith in the promise of God for the Messiah or Savior..they were saved by their faith in God's word...we are still saved by our faith in God's word..who is God's word..it is Jesus..we need to turn to Him in love and turn from our sins in order to be saved from God's anger and everlasting punishment

We can't practice the whole " a gentle answer turns away
Wrath... Aren't we suppose to be "walking out" our faith? How can we practice if doors are closed ? I like the testing... I understand guarding gates ... I'm just wondering , in what environment is it best to practice walking it out if we keep shutting out aggressive people coming in looking for something? Not putting anyone down for doing it, but what better environment to practice in if we allow them in... It's like what's happening in America... America had her doors shut for so long to outsiders and now they are open... I can't help but wonder if it's to activate the whole "walking it out" to come alive so others who do not know Christ see Christ coming out through us.. Takes time I know, but Gods Word also says a day to us is like a thousand years in His Kingdom..

oh I meant to add that we are no different today from how the people were before Jesus was born here..we just know who the Savior is while they were still waiting for Him

1 Corinthians 10:1-5
10 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. 2 They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 3 They all ate the same spiritual food 4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.

Reminds me a little bit of how we're waiting for Jesus' second coming, and they were waiting for His first. (Sort of.) We all believed, hoped, and waited. :)

In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word he was here from the begining.

I didn't read all the answers but I will give mine even if it is a repeat.

1 Peter 3: 19
1 Peter 4: 6
For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they night be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Your post doesn't deserve an answer.
Except for this: God knows who are His, every one of the prophets - and a lot of other believers who
lived before His time on earth were, are, and always will be HIS.
John 6:63 - "My words are Spirit and they are life;
the flesh-(names), profits nothing."
