About seven years ago, just before going to bed, I read John 16:13 for the first time. I closed my Bible and I asked God to show me something.
John 16:13

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.


I then laid down to sleep. Shortly after closing my eyes, I saw Jesus in the sky. He was pure gold from head to foot. His face was too bright to look upon. There were green flames shooting out from Him in every direction. He shouted in a voice so loud it should have waken everyone in Muskogee. The words He spoke were in a language foreign to me. Immediately, I opened my eyes. My entire body was shaking for several seconds. I then sat up on the edge of the bed, rubbing my eyes I said; "Wow what a dream". I then looked at the clock and noticed that only a few minutes had passed sense I first laid down; (not enough time to have fallen asleep.) Then I ask, "What did He say?" And instantly, even though the language He spoke was foreign to me, I knew.

He said; "Come my people. It's time!"

I would have kept my bible open when asking God to show me something.

If this was a message for all of God's people, "come my people, it is time!", then why are you the only one that heard it? Dreams and visions are notoriously unreliable and always need to be check to a subjective framework, namely the Word of God.

Read the book of Acts and you'll find your answer. And don't take John 16:13 out of context and apply your dream to it, very bad exergesis.

It is time for what?

Well, I guess you can think what you want.

And, I will continue to know what I know. I will always cherish this vision and will share it and the Gospel and Christian love for all.

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and have His way

Come child do not fear. Bastards are disappearing as quickly as they wake up. Do not dwell on TIME, it is patience that will pay you.

I am not doubting, denying or affirming your vision. All I am saying is when I 'ask God to show me something ' as you did, I keep my bible open because that is where we are to seek His will.

continuing ... as far as testing it against Scripture, it confirms what has already been said..
" Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."
which indicates that at best it is a word for your own edification and not for public consumption.

God will never and has never spoken to someone in an unknown tongue (language).
If God has something to say to anyone of us he will speak in a tongue we understand. Others around us may not hear the words or understand they may perceive it as thunder, just as we see in schripture, but the one God is speaking to understands very clearly what was said to them by God.

John 12:28-29 (KJV)
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

John 8:43 (KJV)
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

It's just natural for me to pray on my knees, or with hands lifted or sometimes prostrate. I believe we all have a personal relationship with the Father. I just thought it was odd that you totally ignored the subject mater and centered on something of absolutely no significance.

As I said in another post I will keep you in my prayers.

What I saw and what I heard is what I saw and heard. I will always cherish the vision and will continue to share it with anyone who will listen.

Next to the quickening that I received when God came into my life, this is the most life changing event I have ever experienced.

it is your candle to do with as you please. I have had three visions while awake as a babe in the Lord and learned quickly that they were for private and not public consumption. Your dream had a public message but said nothing than what Scripture already says 'I come quickly'...this is why I would take it as a word for your own encouragement...but what the heck after all, I am duly disregarded.
