The bema seat (rewards for works) Which is set aside for children of God only.

In our minds, We can not now or ever be perfect. we must always rely and look to ehte grace of God because we will never live up to his standard (perfection)
So. why do you think you can earn salvation, when God says you can not? why do you water down the law to make yourself more righteous than you realy are?

He condemned CHURCHES.. not induviduals. He is speaking to a group of people who claim to be his lights. and saying unless they as a whole rpeent, he will remove their lampstand.

REPENT!!
I see Roman Catholics come here not so much to talk about the Word of God or their faith in Christ, but to defend the Roman Catholic Church. Perhaps you are unaware that you are on a site where even the founders have not minced their words about believing the RCC to be heretical. We have not gone to a Catholic site to argue the virtues of protestantism, yet Catholics come here to argue what they perceive to be the virtues of their Catholicism; many of those same elements are viewed by others as heresies. So yes, I do.

A church needs to repent if it is not being a representative of Christ, or God will remove his power from that church.
You can not put a person in place of that interpretation. because some people in that church may not be saved, but the church as a whole is still a healthy church because it is representing God. So God is not talking about them.

It's a gift from God's Grace possible through Christs sacrifice!!
Salvation was such a great price for our PRECIOUS Christ, this ALONE is enough for ANYONE to realise your NEVER saved, as such until Christ tells you so. Presuming otherwise is PRIDE!! The SIN OF SATAN!!

Jesus did NOT build His Church on Peter. Jesus built His Church on the Truth that Jesus is the Rock, that Jesus is the Church.
This is the main problem with Catholics. They cannot see the Truth in the Scriptures because they have been blinded by the god of this World.
The Catholic Church was never the True Church because they did not appear until hundreds of years after Jesus walked on the Earth. Nowhere in the Scriptures do any of the Apostles address Peter as Pope Peter. Nowhere in the Scriptures do you see any Apostle bowing down to Peter. In fact it was Paul who was in charge of the Apostles, not Peter because Paul had to admonish Peter for what he was doing.
