Again, you have failed to address any verses that I have brought up. If you were on the side of truth, you would have no trouble explaining those verses in the proper context.

Also, you are claiming that I cannot know the truth of God's Word. Where does the Bible teach that? I know by the Scriptures that the Bible teaches the exact opposite? The question is: Do you know which verses teach that? I do.

As for the majority: Well, Jesus said narrow is the way that leads unto life and few be there that find it. So it is not the wide gate or the popular path people are on, my friend.
The only path you are on pal is the one the blind Pharisees fell into...that being the ditch of legalistic blindness!

"Proper context" does not equal "Jason context" -- Goodbye troll. I'm done feeding you.

There is no reason to get smart with me; And I am not out to condemn you but to save you by the real power of the gospel in God's Word. For God will only want you to do what is good and right and to promote only that.
Haha you will save me? Dude you can't save anyone....Jesus does that. Wow you truly do belief you are some great prophet.

Yep and as you claim Jesus turned water into grape juice. You are for sure on the narrow just the wrong narrow.
The ditch of legalistic blindness more likely!

You won't convince him, WW. I reckon Jason imagines himself as an Old Testament prophet, thundering his message to heathens like us. He uses criticism, and fashions a badge of honor - as if he's suffering as a great warrior for Christ. Jason's pride will be his downfall. But he's too blind to see it.
Uh, no. I do not think of myself as an Old Testament prophet. Although the OT prophets were not wrong in any sense of the word. I believe in preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified and Him resurrected to the saving of the soul. But one cannot ignore God's goodness. For that is the reason why He came to save us. He came to save us from our sins. Not just in some kind prayer that we made, but He came to save us from actual sin in our lives, too. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. And all glory goes to Him and not me.

Because it IS about fear. Not fear of going to hell, but fear of failing to do the very basic things with God in heaven has requested of us. Even with the Holy Spirit inside of us we still fail Him on a daily (nay, hourly) basis.

1 Corinthians 3
10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

YES, a believer can be saved and still do something evil. Have you ever read Romans 7
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

That's a favorite verse of Jason's. He can't see it says work "out" your salvation, not work "for" your salvation. The "out" meaning growing in Christ.

Again, you have reading problems. I said I came to save you BY THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL IN GOD"S WORD. Jesus is the One who saves by the power of this gospel and Him alone. I am merely a messenger who points you to Christ and His goodness.

No doubt and the words mean to fit out your salvation.......not earn your salvation!

Really? Do you honestly believe I have power to save without Christ? All salvation belongs to the LORD. I am just a vessel and a messenger and nothing else. Also, try reading Matthew 5 in regards to doing things in secret for God.

Elf is already saved by the perfect faith of Christ which he has exercised belief into.....your gospel has no power to save as it is a pseudo false gospel with no power!

Again, these are all a smokescreen tactics or diversions so as not to deal with the heart of the questions I asked in my original post. Can a person do evil and still be saved? Many here believe that. And it is wrong.

Your not all that and a bag of chips pal.....as a matter of fact.....99% of the people on this site think you make a mockery of the word and in all honesty are blind with no ability to understand...maybe that is your problem...the word is spiritually discerned......!

It's terribly sad that Jason doesn't realize he is accursed for preaching a law/works oriented gospel, and not the true gospel of grace delivered to the Saints.

The entire book of Galatians is about people like him.

I did read it he whole thing and you did say YOU would save me. As soon as you used that word "you" refering to you, you placed yourself ahead of God in the salvation factor.

John 13:10 Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”

Amen to that...they have been made clean by Christ and yet the feet get dirty in our daily lives in some form or fashion............

I wonder how many times a day Jason loses and gains his salvation. He has admitted he still sins. He claims people who sin cannot really be saved, because they belong to the devil. So that means every time Jason commits a sin, his salvation goes right out the window and he has to get saved again.

It must be exhausting.

If he claims as long as he quickly repents, he remains saved - is that akin to the "ten second rule" when someone drops food?

Guys, I have been reading various OSAS threads here almost continuously since I first joined CC. The argument will never be won because people's own perception of God's word varies. People quote what they want to read into it both from the OT and NT and so it goes on...and on...and on...and on.

Give it up guys, there are so many other topics of equal importance! Jesus said "love one another as I have loved you". Amen to that. :)
