Revelation 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

People can say what they want about how they feel or what not, but I believe what the bible says and I strive to live my life according to scripture. I do fall, but I get back up....however I will not allow someone to manipulate scripture to make it be a certain way to fit what they want it to be. The bible is black and white....period! He is the same, yesterday, today and forever and with that I am at peace :)
Do you believe it is wrong to live in apostasy and heresy?

She just said the Bible is black and white.

You want to take a guess what her answer will be?

Me.....be quiet haha! You have no idea who you are talking to, I love to talk. It could be my fever talking, but it makes me want to say it louder haha! :p
And as long as you're always talking, dear sister, always praise the Name of the Lord. And I am confident you will do so. God bless you always. :)

I have not shared my denomination at all. This topic is about apostasy and heresy.
And you won't share your denomination. You can't, it would lead to IMMEDIATE banning. This is just the deep breath before the plunge.

You are assuming she will even answer the question. If a person endorses apostasy and heresy, they will not answer the question. We shall see if she answers the question.

Ooh! I love guessing games....I wonder what I'll say now....any guesses?

Okay the bible is black and white and if you are in a gray area than I would consider that person to be lukewarm and what does the bible says about lukewarm christians???

I'm not accusing you or making judgments because I have been at points in my own life where I considered myself to be in that gray area

The problem is, Mindee (who's actually a dude) is judging you and can hardly wait to pounce on you for your "heretical" ways. Trust me, I've seen this garbage a thousand times.

I have not even shared my denomination. You will have to show proof.

You assume a lot. And you're wrong again.

I don't think anyone in this thread has endorsed heresy. The issue here is the lack of clarity in what views you deem to constitute heresy. I personally think we need to have a few core beliefs right: the deity of Christ, what constitutes salvation, and the Trinity. We need to believe that Jesus Christ is the way, truth, and life and only way to eternal life. There are many other important doctrines obviously, but I wouldn't consider a proper understanding of these doctrines necessary for salvation.

I think we should keep in mind that God is merciful and isn't quick to damn us for not grasping spiritual truth perfectly. None of us in this life will ever understand all the mysteries of Christ perfectly. We also need to keep in mind the circumstances of each individual. Some are born into a certain faith tradition and wrong mindset. Perhaps the teachings they were raised with are the only truth they ever know. If that person is sincere and tries to follow God to the degree of light they were given in this life that is up to him to grant them salvation. There is a huge difference between not knowing all proper doctrine and actively undermining the truth. During the early church many evil and rebellious people tried to create chaos in the early church and undermine the apostles. These are the types of heretics that we are not to bid Godspeed to

Do you just realize what you are claiming, you were just judging "renewed_hope" by claiming she has "heretical" ways.

Share it then. But I KNOW you can't.

Cathoholic maybe?
Definitely Catholic. His fixation on the negatives is pornogrphic in its nature. Sick actually. Flat out sick. This only comes from someone who does not know the fullness of God's saving grace in Jesus Christ.

Trust me, if you're not Catholic, you'll be deemed a heretic by this one. Look up some of the threads started a few days ago by Journey-Home. He was banned but came back as Mindee. Apparently he's embracing his femininity tonight.

How is it possible for me to be Catholic when I am against apostasy and heresy?
