to be honest I have no idea what your talking about.(mailman logic) as you can see from my post's this is probably my 90th post ever. my first experience in a chat room.

but thanks for addressing the issue with your opinion instead of scripture, I've been getting that a lot on here.

where did you get I was angry? I've given 3 scriptures that i'm asking to be considered that's all

OTE=dcontroversal;2435729]The word religion means to bind and or tie down....a woman wearing pants is not a sin....the same religions that teach that also bind their people down under other religious dogma that has no basis in the word of God and to be honest amounts to religious fanaticism....who is angry....and no offence, but if you ask such questions you will get many replies...apply your mailman logic to your own response...are you angry that the answers you get are not the ones you were looking for? Trying to equate a man wearing a dress is not the same as a woman wearing pants that have been made for a woman....may I ask what is your religious background....there are about 4 to 6 "religions" that teach such things.....erroneously I might add....[/QUOTE]

I think you get that a lot because there are no Bible texts about pants, since they didn't wear those then in the Middle East's warm climate. Okay one text for an eskimo who has to wear a skirt:

James 2

Goodbye,*keep yourself warm*and eat well

where did I "tell somebody off" I merely asked a question with 3 bible references that used to be preached in the early church. as far as what does God think? he already told us that in his Word.
I wonder what God things when his children spend their time telling others off for wearing pants while other of his children are tortured for believing in Christ

yes, still shameful according to 1corinthains 11 for men to have long hair and women to have short hair.
That's a lie. You don't seem to get it that you are arguing from first century middle eastern culture. Come into the 21st century.

I do not believe we are bound to the mosaic law neither. but I've never read were God ever changed his mind when he said something was an "abomination"
1 Peter 3:5 (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

here peter refers us back to the "holy women" and how they dressed. and we know how they dressed in deut. 22:5
Good news is we are not bound to the Mosaic laws, that and the passage from Deuteronomy is referring to women acting like men and men acting like women.

Be content with how God made us, if He made you a man then you are a man, if He made you a woman then you are a woman !!!

1 Timothy 2:9 and 1 Peter 3:3-5 has duel meanings as it refers to they should wear modest clothing, and that to keep away from covetous practices.

I love how so far most has done nothing but make fun, or ridicule me for even having the audacity to post such scriptures and ask a question. maybe you should turn your anger toward Moses, apostle Paul and Peter for writing theses verses to begin with. do you get angry with the mailman when he delivers a letter you didn't want to receive?

Duet 22:5 "....for a woman not to wear that which PERTAINETH to a man"

how do you ladies feel about your husband wearing your dress to church? no? probably because a dress pertains to a woman
Audacity is not the word. Discombobulation is a better one.

I thought Jesus had long hair. Oh well LOL and in that link, a very good one, he had a text that God wore a skirt. I spread My skirt over thee.

Once again, a rather rude and ignorant response. I made several claims in that post, and what a respectable and intelligent person would do is refute my post with appropriate counterclaims. Show me how I am misguided in my thinking, don't just tell me I'm misguided. If you don't know how to respond to my post, then I'd suggest you stay silent.
Not rude. Just telling the truth. You cannot make such claims and be taken seriously.

If you understood the word you would not have a problem with these things. God basically laid down the law that the perversion of transvestitism (as we call it today) would be dealt with.

Apart from that perverse behavior, we are all free to wear what pertains to our gender, and maintain modesty. Period.

Willie-T, now here is an honest man, he makes no bones about the adulterous, fornicating spirit he has. this is probably why God addressed men and womens clothing in the bible.
Matthew 5:28 (KJV)

[SUP]28 [/SUP] But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

I think it is an absolute sin if they are baggy and loose-fitting. Now, nice and snug..... that's a gift from God.

I know people are going to hell, that's why i'm doing all I can to see that they don't.

didn't Jesus say "if you love me, keep my commandment?"

can one thing keep you from heaven? lets ask Jesus:

Luke 18:22-23 (KJV)
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

by the way, if you notice I posted this question on a "Christian website" I would never try to convert the lost with these scriptures, I thought i'd be asking Christians!
NO................Serious...people are dying and going to hell and you are worried about a woman wearing pants....is this one of those gnat and camel moments or what?

So, what we wear determines our eternal destiny?

You pervert the meaning of what Jesus said to the rich man. His love for his own wealth stood in the way of his following Jesus. We are not talking about the love of raiment, here. We are free to follow after Jesus and wear whatever we so choose to do so.
We are held to the call to modesty, only.

So, what are you talking about?

That's because Jack and James are trolls, and obviously some here suspect you of being a troll also. Jack is a former banned member with at least probably two hundred different names he comes here under.

Paints pertaineth to men? Does that mean women can't be painters too? :( As for no men's dresses at Walmart, you're wrong about that. I've seen them..lol

james, jack, whatever, here is some truth for you: you just cannot randomly take verses as you did Peter and Deuteronomy and try to make a point. context must be used. the Words of Truth must be rightly divided.
