I think he sometimes puts the hardest person in my breathing space to practice me walking in the Spirit. Everytime I realize I failed I just ask for more mercy and to bring another difficult person. He answers those kind of prayers the quickest.
And ya know.....looking back on the last 7 and a half years. I got knocked around pretty good. I've made lots of money and lost a lot of money. I've had some painful broken relationships. Stronger men would buckle under all the crap I've dealt with. The one thing that drove me was the love of my boy. Because even more important to me than my future is his future.
One day we were driving thru a cemetery that I had worked on a building they built there. It was last summer.
He says, dad, is this a cemetery? I said it sure is. He said, what are you gonna do when you die, are you gonna be buried or cremated? I said, well, what do you want to do with me? He said, I want to put you inside a rock like you did for your dad so I can take you with me wherever I go and tell my kids that all this love started with you...my dad.
He knows the history of my dad. He know I didn't have one. He is such a sweet sweet boy. I love him sooo much.
