Your Muslim upbringing is showing through here....the Trinity is NOT Gods...it is ONE GOD!

I lost count as to how many followers of islam, think that we, as Christians, worship THREE Gods.

The islamic unitarian mentality is hard to let got of, apparently...

Yes, there is...

Ignorance of the Greek...

Scripture declares that the only true God is Jesus.

Study up...
My parents did teach me foolishness by telling 1+1+1=3, i learned it from so called "trinitarians". Muslims always have problem with Christians with whatever they believe, but the same what Christians also has the same attitude. But i am not a muslim,

I believe in God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ. i believe because God showed me the way, he called me. i did not do anything good for that. but god's goodness lead me to repentance. So it will be nice if u do not remind me of my old sins....u do not have the right to...because God doesn't want me to think of it.

Yes, there is...
You say holy spirit is called in the scripture.....give me the scripture....PLEASE

Ignorance of the Greek..

G4416 prototokos pro-tot-ok'-os

from G4413 and the alternate of G5088;

first-born (usually as noun, literally or figuratively).

the same word used to in the below verses

Lk 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Mt 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Of course i did not say he was physically born from the father, but he came out of the father.the same way God resurrected Jesus and made him the first begotten from the dead.Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.

Scripture declares that the only true God is Jesus.

Study up...
I'm studying my friend.....the scripture, and not the doctrines of man. Only true god is Jesus???

Jn 17:1-3 These words spake Jesus (not anybody else, but he Lord), and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God
(thee...who...the father), and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Trinity here??where is the holy spirit? why does it not say "that they might know the only true God, father son and the holy spirit".

May the peace of God be with u

In Qur'an ,which is the last message of God ,God told us how the christian changed their teachings and their book with passage of time.
Reality is that christ were a prophet of God and he asked people to worship only one God.He were pious prophet and his mother were also a very pious and God fearing woman.
All prophets of God are pious people and their place is in heaven.because they asked people to do good deeds and they faced hardships in way of God.Islam asks us to respect all the prophets.
Quran is the "last message of God" according to Prophet muhammed. Have u noticed one thing. In the bible before the coming of Jesus Christ, so many prophets prophesised his coming...why no where in the bible prophet talks abt the coming of Prophet Mohammad? Ok u wud give the verse from duetronomy...other than that???Comforter in the new testament????

Jn 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

I do not see anywhere in the quran, prophet muhammed testifying Jesus christ the son of God....Nowhere he teaches or reminds us of what Jesus Christ said, instead we see complete different things. Leave bible, it is completely different from Torath.

No prophet is to bring a revelation that is in conflict with the previous revelation. Prophet muhammed did that. Some simple examples:

1.
Surah 11:42-43And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], "O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers."[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.

We don't read any such things in torah or Old testament bible.Noah only had 3 sons, who all escaped the flood.

2.
Abraham was forced to leave the house of his father, because he was against idol worship. They threw him out...but neither torah nor old testament says that.
Gn 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
Gn 12:1 . Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

he moved after his father's death.

3.
Israel is a "scanty band" in Egypt according to Quran vastly inferior to Egyptians.Pharoah says
Surah 26:54.(Verily, these indeed are but a small band. And verily, they have done what has enraged us.)
but old testament ot torah says

Ex 1:7-19 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.
And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel [are] more and mightier than we:

How can somebody life prophet mohammad who verified torah to be true, give different information???

Jesus Christ lived for us sinners, He tells us to love our enemies. I'm not fighting but Quran teaches to hate unbelievers. Bible teaches to love the enemies, no matter what they do. Where u will see so much love? Where do u see self sacrifice, love and care than in the bible. Though all the apostles in the bible faced persecution and died the most pathetic death, they did not leave God..why because they knew that the God Jesus Christ preached is the real God. They saw the divinity of Jesus Christ. they were ready to be killed by others, because they were convinced. Not even one person in the bible, turned back from God because of persecution. They were not prophets, they were normal people like you and me.

May the peace of God be with u

When two or more persons are so close that they in perfect sync; so close that they have an unbreakable union of thoughts and understanding of one another to share a common mission....they can be said to 'be one' . Father and Son are individuals, one Master the other subordinate. Like we see reflected in human relationships. A son can worship his father to such an extent that he would lay his life down if asked to do so. And if that boy's father asked him to lay his life down for the subjects of their Kingdom, the boy who loves and wants what his father wants, wouldn't hesitate to make his sacrifice.
Human culture calls them 'Troops' or soldiers. Sons (and daughters) have made all sorts of sacrifices to fulfill their parents' dreams and missions.

Humans are Christs subjects because he bought us out of a sinful state. God has made him King over a Government and earth and all it's inhabitants are his subjects. The efforts and sacrifices we humans make are futile, as long as, we are seeking our own interests, rather than the Heavenly Father's will/interests. Christ is the King who will rule over us and enforce the laws that his Father has established. That does not mean that he doesn't have some of his own creative license. It was through the Son, Christ Jesus, that God's design and plan, was done. Jesus was the first and last of creation that was made directly by God's own hand. That would make him Alpha and the Omega. Now that I think about it...If the Holy Spirit is God's invisible force by which he makes things done, and Christ had access to it to create everything else YHWH wanted to create at the time; that would mean that Christ was the only creature born purely by Holy Spirit as God's perfect reflection. Then all other beings, spiritual and physical, were created through (by) Christ. But still under God's direction. Christ, always the faithful, loyal, loving son, who worships his father and wants us to join them, to be in UNION with them as one with them. It's the only way we humans will be able to see what we can't even begin to imagine. What God's true plan is for us. Weather on Earth or in Heaven.... Not an argument worth losing 'everlasting life' for. Arguing is not Loving. LOVE is the most important command next to loving God with our "whole heart, whole soul, whole mind'. All we can do is direct people to what God says in the Bible so that they can know what God's standards and expectations are. If they choose contrary or want to argue unknowable details about spiritual things, or are not ready then that is their personal choice and they will be judged by God...NOT other humans who have their own judgement to prepare for. In order to reap reward of Christs ransom, we must choose and align ourselves to be one with THEM. But that won't ever mean that we are God himself.

I was just reading your reply to Fozi and as a Christian I felt I needed to say something in response to your statement:

"Jesus Christ lived for us sinners, He tells us to love our enemies. I'm not fighting but Quran teaches to hate unbelievers. Bible teaches to love the enemies, no matter what they do. Where u will see so much love? Where do u see self sacrifice, love and care than in the bible. I shouldn't have to remind you that people have dominated and destroyed entire civilizations of the world in the name of "Christianity" since they assumed themselves God's judges. That's no different to what you are attempting to pin on people who build their faith around the Quran. You are correct, that the Bible does teach that God ultimately demands that all humans show LOVE, no matter what. There were Kings who fell away from God. 100% were not 100% faultless saints. Matter of fact most Christians DO NOT follow Christs example and don't even know what the Bible says.

The U.S.A. is a 'Christian' country and what we sell the world is, Weapons. Spread big Industry that turns humans into consumers and slaves. Is it love to continue to buy into a system that operates that way?

Maybe you, are living sincerely according to Gods laws out of Love with understanding of his ways. But you're not the common Christian. It is naieve to think that 'Christianity' looks that way to the rest of the world. Christ's brand of Christianity did not look like most of the world's Christianity today. NOT ALL CHRISTIANS ARE THE SAME...NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE THE SAME....BUT WE ALL ANSWER TO THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD. It's not about prophets....it's about God's ultimate plan and how you and I personally get to be part of it.

The word trinity does not exist in the Bible. But the book of Isaiah, Psalms and Zechariah speak of ONE God. Isaiah says that He was coming in the form of an child birthed through a virgin. The book of Matthew states that this CHILD is GOD with us....i could go on forever. BECAUSE JESUS revealed to ME that He is God.

Do U BELIEVE JESUS IS A GOD ! SO PROVE IT ! U BELIEVE IN A TRINITY OF GODS ! THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ? ARE THEY ALL GODS ? PLEASE ! DON'T SAY 3 = 1 BECAUSE IT'S NOT EVEN LOGICAL ! u're Brother ! let talk peacefully ! if u have the truth show it ! ^^
Do you believe the Word of God, that is the question? If you do not believe the Word of God there is no logical talking with you concerning a topic that is based on the Word of God. Let us for the moment believe you do believe the Word of God, i would like to show you a verse and please explain it to me logically.

Matthew 19: 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

How can that be? How is that possible? Is that not illogical? How can a husband and a wife no longer be two, but they are ONE flesh? What? How is that logical?
Scriptures teach that there is a Father in Heaven.
Scriptures teach that there is a Son of that Father in Heaven
Scriptures teach that there is a Holy Ghost
Scriptures also teach that they three are ONE.
Scriptures also teaches that they two (husband and wife) are ONE.
Seems to me Scriptures interprets Scriptures. Scriptures plainly teaches us that two can be ONE, why then are you so confused that Three can be ONE, even as the Husband and Wife are ONE. Are they ONE flesh? No, yet because of their unity they are no longer seen as one flesh, but they are seen to God as ONE. Are the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost ONE flesh? No, yet because of their unity they are no longer seen as one flesh each, but they are seen as ONE. You do greatly error in not understanding Scriptures.

No.

The authors of the Koran never mention such a thing.

This is Islamic myth.

No.

The sole purpose of islam is to deny Jesus' deity.

i learned it from so called "trinitarians".
Trinitarians don't make that statement regarding the One God.

You are confused, again...

Muslims always have problem with Christians with whatever they believe, but the same what Christians also has the same attitude. But i am not a muslim,
You were raised Muslim.

You never read the Koran...and thus, you most likely never read the Holy Bible, either...

I believe in God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ.

What is si difficult to see. We are 3 in one our we not? We are created in the image if God are we not?. So if we are 3 in one then He is three in one. Come let US make man in OUR own image. Jesus is God, you cannot separate the three. Can you separate the 3 of yourself?

I understand Brother. Jesus himself told that there will be only a few chosen who can really understand what he said, and what he taught, and a very few will be there following his path in the correct way. Im a born muslim and i shud admit the way muslims look at the christians. But when God chose me, i started having Christian brothers and sisters. But it was same with them. Not only other religion, they even speak abt different sects and groups of the same religion badly. My intention was not to pin point Brother, just because Fozi was telling Jesus Christ was a prophet, i tried to explain Quran. Its my mistake i tried to prove Quran is wrong, insterad of teaching about the love of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is more than an avatar. He is God himself. The bible says the fulness of God dwelt in him and he created everything.

The Trinity formula is aslo wrong.

1) There is only one God
2) The Father is God
3) Jesus is God
4) The Holy Spirit is God.

I do not see anywhere in the quran, prophet muhammed testifying Jesus christ the son of God....

Creation ex-nihilo by the Son

بديع السموت والأرض أنى يكون له ولد ولم تكن
له صحبة وخلق كل شيء وهو بكل شيء عليم

BadeeAAu alssamawati waal-ardi anna yakoonu lahu waladun walam takun lahu sahibatun wakhalaqa kulla shay-in wahuwa bikulli shay-in AAaleemun

6.101 Originator (of) the heavens and the earth, that He has certainly been his Son, and certainly not to be his companion, and He created every thing that He will, and He on account of every thing that he will who knows.

Just as in other Koranic creation ex-nihilo ayahs, the Son, Jesus Christ, is mentioned as being present at the origin of the Universe, confirming that He is God Almighty.

Further, the distinction of Jesus’ deity is confirmed by distancing Himself from just being a “companion” (sahibatun).

Glory be to the Son

ما كان لله أن يتخذ من ولد سبحنه إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون

Ma kana lillahi an yattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qada amran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu

19.35 That was to “allah” that he takes of a Son, glory be to Him when He issued a decree, commanded, so only truly His, He says: "Be you.” So He has been.

This ayah demonstrates yet another Koranic example of the Son having the ability to create with His powerful word.

The Son brings the End Times

Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanu waladan laqad ji/tum shay-an iddan takadu alssamawatu yatafattarna minhu watanshaqqu al-ardu watakhirru aljibalu haddan an daAAaw lilrrahmani waladan Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmani an yattakhitha waladan

And they said: "The most merciful he has taken a Son. Truly You came, a disastrous thing.” The heavens are well nigh (to) burst from Him and the earth she cleaves asunder and then later the mountains fall down into pieces violently with noise. That they called to the most merciful a Son. And that it is convenient to the most merciful that he takes a Son. 19.88 – 92

Contrary to popular Islamic thinking, these ayahs actually proclaim Jesus Christ as the “convenient” Son by first quoting what they said “qaloo”, and then shifting to the singular destruction which Jesus Christ brings during the end times as He opens the Seven seals of Revelation.

The Spirit is God(Acts 5.3-4, Cor 3.17-18, Gen. 1.2; Psa. 104.30, Matt. 1.18,20; Luke 1.35; Rom. 1.4; 8.11; Heb. 9.14; 1 Cor. 2.10-11; Psa. 139.7; Rom. 8.1-27)
You dont understand my question.where in the whole bible Holy spirit is called "GOD". the same way Jesus is called "lord and God", and father is called the "god". Show me the verse in which Jesus Christ is praying to the holy spirit, like the way he is praying to the father.

1.The spirit is not a seperate entity, it is the spirit of God. the mind ot the understanding of God, which is given to Jesus Christ.

Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

2.why is not the holy spirit called the father of Jesus Christ, when the bible says:

Mt 1:18 . Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

3.God has given us "HIS"holy spirit

1Th 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Now we see another verse which says
1C 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The mind/ understanding of Jesus Christ given by the Father is Holy spirit, which is actually the spirit of the Father himself.

Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

1Pt 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

4.Tell me this, who does the intercession for us, Jesus Christ or the holy spirit

Ro 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
Ro 8:34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Oh, i thought only Jesus Christ is on the right hand side of God.
