If one would but go and see that John 6:63 does not have the definite article attached to "spirit" or "life" then they would see that they are not spoken of as of being persons. They are used in the same manner as if were to say, "he is good", "he is dead", "he is tall". We know that person is not the personification of "good/dead/tall". So, we should not think the same here.

But, what is being taught is that the words He spoke is of the spirit and of the life. Meaning, His words are those our spirit are to cling to to lead a spiritual life. His words are those which leads to life at the end.

You yet fail to acknowledge that your assertiveness of pointing out the inserted "it" in that verse, in your attempt in calling the Word an "it", was in error.
The words He spoke, he, she, or it?

Heres a biblical study i did called "The God Man"

The God Man

· Jesus was God on Earth, and is the 2nd Person of the Godhead
· Distinct from the Father, yet shares the divinity with Him and the Holy Spirit
· Let’s attempt to understand, using scripture, who Christ is…

The Nature of Christ
“The Hypostatic Union”

Greek: hypostasis - sediment, foundation, substance, or subsistence

· The Nature of who Christ is, was, and is to come, is highly misunderstood.
· The Hypostatic Union is a theological study of the Nature/Substance of Christ
· Scripture is very clear on this

Philippians 2:5-11 (ESV)
“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Hebrews 1:3-4 (ESV)
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.”

· These 2 passages of scripture identify 2 natures of Christ
· His nature of both God and Man
· The Attributes of God and the Weakness of Man

There’s another theological term for the nature of Christ:
Theanthropic (Theos – God, Anthros – Human)
-Embodying deity in a human form; both divine and human.

· This is the union of the two natures (Divine and Human) in the person of Jesus.
· Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14). He is fully God and fully man (Col. 2:9).
· The Natural and Supernatural in Union.

Jesus as God

He is worshiped…
Matt 2:2 “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

Matt 2:11 “And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.”

Matt 14:33 “And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

He is prayed to…
Acts 7:59 “And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

He is sinless…
1 Peter 2:22 He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.”

Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

He knows all things…
John 21:17 “He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.

He gives eternal life…
John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

The fullness of God is in Him…
Colossians 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” (KJV)

Jesus as Man

He worshiped the Father… (John 17)

He prayed to the Father… (John 17)

He was tempted…
Matthew 4:1 “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.”

He grew in wisdom…
Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”

He died…
Romans 5:8 “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

He has a body of flesh and bones…
Luke 24:39 “See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”

· The Purpose of Jesus coming to Earth as a man was to Die
· He could not Die as God alone
· He became what He wasn’t, but never ceasing to be what He was
· He needed a body of Flesh, and one was prepared for Him
· As prophesied by King David…and confirmed by the author of Hebrews…

Psalm 40:6
“In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.”

Hebrews 10:5-7
“Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”

A Normal sacrifice was not enough…

Hebrews 9:12-14
"…he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God."

· This explains the Sacrificial Exchange on the Cross, Sin died with Flesh, The Holy Spirit came to us through the exchange of the spirit of Christ.

He had to ascend after He was Resurrected…

John 20:17
“Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

In order for the Helper (Spirit) to come to us…

John 16:7
“Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.”

Jesus then fulfils the Promise…

John 20:22
“And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

The Exchange of Glory explained by Christ…

John 17:1-5 (ESV)
When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.”

The Glory that the Son had with the Father, can now be accessed by us, through Christ …

Colossians 1:27
“To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Christ dwells in you through the Holy Spirit…

Ephesians 3:16-19 (ESV)
“…according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

The Priestly Exchange / The Sacrifice…

· The Heart of Christ (Ephesians 1:17-21) is given,
· It is a mystery only revealed to those in the New Covenant, you and I, the Covenant of Christ.

Paul explains here…The Mystery of the Gospel…

Ephesians 3:4-6 (ESV)
“When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.”

Romans 16:25-27
“Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.”

· We have access to all God the Man (Jesus) was sacrificed for
· In order for God the Father to be made real to us
· Through the Mind of Christ…

1 Corinthians 2:16
“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”

Throughout the Gospels it is hinted that Jesus is God in the Flesh…

John 1:1, 14
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.”

John 17:5
“And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.”

John 10:38
“…but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”

John 14:10
“Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”

John 8:58
“Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.

John 12:45
And whoever sees me sees him who sent me.

John 16:15
All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.”

Only God can read minds…

Luke 5:22
“When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts?

Luke 7:16
Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people!

John 20:28
“Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!

And Apostle Paul…

Titus 2:13
“…waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

1 Timothy 3:16
Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.”

Hebrews 1:8
“But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.”

And Apostle John…

Revelation 1:7-8
“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:17-18
“When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.”

Neither would we call "the Messenger of the LORD" ("the Angel of the LORD") a thing. But, we are told that the Word (Creator Himself) took upon Himself flesh and was SENT by God to deliver a message, indeed, He is the Messenger sent from God. If the Word is but a thing, the same Word who was called Son by God, then we have but a thing who delivered God's message of salvation. Far be it from us that we worship a creation.......

i am not offended with you,,,,there are s's in several places in scripture,,,,the Gospel came and the gnostic left out to show they are not of us. the lord will come,,so the man of sin will appear in the midst of events to cause the earth to see him as the Messiah. he will fulfill the scripture "before the kings and the synagogs, and many will be put to death",,,they will believe he is god in the earth and parents will save their children by relieving their hiding places that they be reunited with god,and children will think they do the will of god and betray the parents.,,,the end is upon us and the first god to come will,in the eye of the many fulfill it,whether he be the man of sin or not,,,,,you have not offended me my friend,,
Thank you for your understanding.....

I apologize for the lengthy reply. However, your question demands some discussion in order to achieve some satisfaction. It's not a light topic. I hate it when people just make simplified and absolute statements as if that should be good enough and everyone should just accept it. But I like to approach things somewhat more like Jesus did. Reasoning, and referring to the Bible or (what his Father said).

Let's start with sharing thoughts from the worlds leading authority on 'Trinity', since that's really the concept that causes the most religious debate between Christian believers. The New Catholic Encyclopedia says, "The formulation 'one God in three Persons' was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality of perspective." - (1997), Vol XIV, p 299.

The New Encyclopedia Britannica says: "Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: "Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God; Yahweh is one:'- Duet. 6:4 (World English Bible)...The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies.... By the end of the 4th century...the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the for it has maintained ever since."- (1976), Micropaedia, Vol. X, p.126

It doesn't matter what 'people' say. Jesus studied the Bible Scriptures of the Old Testament from childhood, he asked questions, to support what he preached and believed. Christ confirmed once again his relationship with his Heavenly Father at (Matt 26:39) "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." New International Version ...
He obviously didn't see himself as the one with the ultimate authority in the matters at hand.

Though he was perfect, even though he knew the reward that God held out to him at the end, he was in flesh. Fear and anxiety over a painful personal sacrifice would be natural for him to experience. That's why God and Christ keep reassuring us that if we chose to take our own stand on their side (vs. behaving as part of Satan's system) that there is something wonderful in store for us. It might cost us our popularity, persecution and/or life. But it's going to be worth it. We can experience immediate benefits when we apply Bible principles in our daily behavior and personal choices. We don't need to debate weather God's plan is for us in heaven, hell, or on a perfect earth or unknowable details. We can all read the Bible, using mindful reasoning when consider what it says. When "mindful reasoning" is a challenge, (as it is for all of us to some degree) then we pray for understanding if our approach is heartfelt and sincere, we get it and everything begins to make sense. How that actually works is not something to argue about because we're all just human and we all have our own interpretations. We shouldn't question the Bible, but we should question what mankind teaches about the Bible. Because people often say things that contradict what Christ believed and taught. It's damaging when it turns people away from God.

Christs' allegiance to his father and faith to the death; was meant to be an example for us to develop the same kind of relationship with our Heavenly Father and Christ himself. The Bible is full of scriptures that tell what Christs' relationship is with his Father, what his relationship is with humans since his sacrificial death. It also tells us how God and his Son want us to relate to them and what their standards and expectations are for all mankind. The Bible is a message to all humans to tell us that WE are not the one's running the show here on earth, and if we don't get on board by taking in Bible knowledge to learn about God's plan, so that we can make an informed decision, we're going to be sorry. Ignorance is not an excuse and it's not BLISS! It's a burden on everyone else. Christs' ransom was not a guarantee to salvation regardless of how little self control we exercise in our personal lives. We can't be idiots just because we think it's a right.

"This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ....." John 17:3-10

At (Isa. 9:6) it speaks of Christs' Princely position with a Godly status to rule a 'government'. (what government?) "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." (Isa. 9:6) New American Standard Bible (Sounds like a nice contrast to current options.)

The story of what that looks like and what it means for mankind, is recorded through out a specific theme in the Bible.
Christ himself referred to the The Holy Scriptures when his own loyalty to his Heavenly Father was being tested by Satan. Luke 4:6-13 (whatever version you prefer. But I recommend using multiple versions including the New World Translation (if available) to see the consistencies thru mankind's tweeked language.) Christ might God's appointed King over us because Christ bought us with his blood. But does it seem that Christ portrayed himself as THE All Might God, YHWH, or The ONE and ONLY who answers to no one? Or that he's the one who making the plans or his own will done?

What do you think?

Yes my friend, Yahoshua Christ (Jesus) is a God indeed. He is the YAHOSHUA (pronounced Ya-hosh-ua) (YHWH) The LORD our God. When the blessed time to accomplish the will of God the Father had begun, Christ was born to a virgin, a sinner but a servant of God the Father and the most blessed out of all women, who rejoiced in the LORD God her savior, who's precious blood brought about her salvation and deliverance from sin. No Mariam was not born without sin that is a false teaching simply because if she was without sin she would not need a savior, nor would she have brought the required sin offering to the priest after 8 days to make an atonement as written in the law of Moses Leviticus 14:22-31 and documented in Luke 2:24. Sin offerings were for sinners to make an atonement and be clean, not those without sin nor unclean but this is another subject for another time,.....About the LORD our God, He came to bring salvation from His own right arm at the appointed time to do the will of the Father and was born as a man just like all of us and being without sin He was anointed with the holy spirit sent from God the Father at the baptism of John Mathew 3:16-17[SUP]
16
[/SUP]And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
btw, these verses in Matthew also prove there is not a trinity. Notice Christ coming out of the water, the holy spirit descending upon him, and a voice from heaven? 3 separate beings in 3 different places at once having the same goal but separate beings...now for the proof that Yahoshua Christ (Jesus) is the LORD our God,..Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. Who is the LORD God speaking to when He says the man is become as one of us? One might presume the LORD God was speaking to angels? nope, but to God the Father. Here's where it all comes together check out the description of the LORD our God in John ...
John 1:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]The same was in the beginning with God.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

[SUP]6 [/SUP]There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Notice how " No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him". "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" also "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" This is describing Yahoshua(Jesus) Christ the LORD our God.

John 5:

[SUP]36 [/SUP]But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

[SUP]37 [/SUP]And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

[SUP]38 [/SUP]And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
So here you have the LORD our God validating the testimony written in the gospel of John that states
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.....And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Friend it is clearly proven here that Yahoshua (Jesus) Christ is the LORD our God :) May God's truth, mercy, love and peace be upon you friend of God :)

MY LORD JESUS CHRIST IS NOT GOD... HE IS THE CREATED " SON OF GOD " ONLY...

NO WHERE IN GOD'S HOLY WORD DOES IT SAY THAT MY LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOD...

AND AS FOR THE TRINITY... it is a doctrine from satan given to man to be lost from GOD... AS GOD'S OWN HOLY WORD DECLARES IT...
Mar 12:28-30 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and
perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
(29) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord: (30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Joh 5:23 [Jesus speaking] That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He
that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Jesus' own words says love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength and you better give Me the same honor
as the Father. Jesus isn't leaving much to debate right here. To love your neighbor as yourself
is to other people. Jesus doesn't say give me the honor you give your neighbor, but the honor
you are to give to the Father. Jesus is saying to put Him on the SAME LEVEL as the Father.
You can't receive a God's honor or be on God's level, unless you are God. If Jesus wasn't God in the
flesh, He would be asking you to sin.

Do U BELIEVE JESUS IS A GOD ! SO PROVE IT ! U BELIEVE IN A TRINITY OF GODS ! THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ? ARE THEY ALL GODS ? PLEASE ! DON'T SAY 3 = 1 BECAUSE IT'S NOT EVEN LOGICAL ! u're Brother ! let talk peacefully ! if u have the truth show it ! ^^
I believe Jesus Christ is God

Jn 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Phl 2:5-6 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Phl 2:9-10 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

But i do not believe in trinity of Gods because:

nowhere Holy spirit is called "god"
Jesus Christ is firstborn of every creature, the beginning of God's creature
There is only one God, the father. who is the "god of Jesus Christ"

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

like u said, 3 is not equal to 1. God the Father is above all.

this is my small thought:- anybody who can be like God the father, the exact image of God, sinless, pure and holy, can be called as God.God the father acknowledges them as "god", Jesus did a really hard work to attain that title.

Hb 12:9-0 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he(God) for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.

IF the bible tells us that God sent His Son to Earth, and, then tells us that God was 'manifest' in the flesh, what does this tell you? There is ONE God. Like cee said, if you want to say Jesus and God have the 'same divinity,' fine, but, that makes either one or the other, an 'it.' It also makes them, according to your 'modal' of belief, TWO gods :(

Does this verse make God out to be two simulataneous same distinct figures ?

and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father-- to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen. 8"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." - Revelation 1:7

'He' in the first sentence refers to A. Lord God B. 'who was and who is and who is to come.' The 'who was' refers to Jesus on Earth, no? So, Jesus = Lord God .

When we try to simply figure out the modalistic simplicity of God, trying to break Him down into neat little parts and persons and simulataneously find Him the same divinity but two gods we will come to the conclusion that we are working too hard to understand what is simple Scripture saying, 'I and the Father are one.' They are NOT one in the same or 'one' any other way, they are 'one,' which tells us they are the SAME person, one person, one God, not two persons and two divinity members both calling themselves 'God.' :)

His Spirit became Jesus, but, make no mistake, Jesus was everlasting God, up in the sky who came down to Earth to show us the way Home, to relate with us on Earth. One God who came merciful down to Earth to live like us, be with us, show us His heart, His compassion, His passion to serve the one true God, which we do through prayer and service to Him, who showed us here on Earth that He was not just some big God speaking high from the sky but one with the ability to become as we are, in our image, which is both spirit and human, as Scripture (Hebrews) tells us we are 'spiritual beings,' and, that is the Truth :)

Jesus is not A God. He is God.

The father, the son and the spirit are in unity with one another. as such, they are God.

have you ever seen an UFO? I did. Does my personal experience or opinion may convert any? I doubt it. Jesus came from haven, God is from above. We (I) believe the Bible and there are many things telling me NONE is from earth, except humanty to be redeemed -to partake in their divine realms.
Experience is SUPERIOR to faith. All those characters in the Bible HAD personal experiences wit the God you denied.

But i do not believe in trinity of Gods because:

Your Muslim upbringing is showing through here....the Trinity is NOT Gods...it is ONE GOD!

I lost count as to how many followers of islam, think that we, as Christians, worship THREE Gods.

The islamic unitarian mentality is hard to let got of, apparently...

nowhere Holy spirit is called "god"
Yes, there is...

Jesus Christ is firstborn of every creature, the beginning of God's creature
Ignorance of the Greek...

There is only one God, the father. who is the "god of Jesus Christ"
Scripture declares that the only true God is Jesus.

Study up...

I want to add a little more information covering this subject in hopes that someone may benefit from it. I had put more information that really backed up my position on this subject but in the process of writing, after an undetermined time, I was logged out, unbeknownst to me. Then after logging back in, I used the auto save feature button at the bottom of the reply box to retrieve what I had written, but it must have logged me out before I had entered the whole sum of writing. Lesson learned, I will cut and paste next time before I post a reply. Anyway, I'm new here so please forgive me :)
Alright now here is the rest of my writing on this subject and although it appears that the poster of this thread is banned, I hope someone with the same question may benefit from this..............
Proof that Jesus is God,
Isaiah 40:3 speaks about preparing the way for the LORD (Yahoshua). The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. When we compare this verse with Mark 1:3 "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight". We readily see that Yahoshua (Jesus) is the LORD who had the way prepared for him by John the Baptist.

In Joel 2:32 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call." It says that whoever calls upon the Name of the LORD (Yahoshua) will be saved. This verse is quoted by Peter in Acts 2:21,"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." and by Paul in Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Both apostles are clearly referring to Yahoshua (Jesus) as the LORD.

In Isaiah 6:1-10 we read about the marvelous vision that Isaiah had revealing the glory of the LORD (Yahoshua)."In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed."

John tells us, in John 12:40-41, that this vision revealed the glory of Jesus. "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. [SUP]41 [/SUP]These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him."

In Isaiah 44:6, Yahoshua (Jesus) refers to himself as “the First and the Last”. "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." In Revelation 1:8 and 17, Jesus similarly refers to himself as “the Alpha and the Omega” and “the First and the Last”. "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:"

In Zechariah 12:10 the LORD (Yahoshua) is speaking and says that, “they will look on Me whom they have pierced.” "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." This is obviously Yahoshua (Jesus) speaking. Psalm 22:16"For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet."
John 19:34 "But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water." This passage from Zechariah appears again in Revelation 1:7 and is clearly about Yahoshua (Jesus) Christ. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
Exodus 20 "

1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thank you God our Father in heaven in the name of Yahoshua Christ for your endless love and mercy towards us. Thank you my Friend, Master, and God Yahoshua for loving us and for bringing us into the marvelous light of the knowledge of your truth and the Fathers truth, and for the great sacrifices you have made since the creation of the world to bring us out of bondage to iniquity, sin and death. That we may be with you forever in your kingdom and not perish. How unmeasurable is your infinite love and favor towards us. Please bless all those who seek you diligently in their heart and please protect them from their carnal members that war against their precious souls, even so let it be done, come soon my Friend, Amen :)

In Qur'an ,which is the last message of God ,God told us how the christian changed their teachings and their book with passage of time.
Reality is that christ were a prophet of God and he asked people to worship only one God.He were pious prophet and his mother were also a very pious and God fearing woman.
All prophets of God are pious people and their place is in heaven.because they asked people to do good deeds and they faced hardships in way of God.Islam asks us to respect all the prophets.
