Me again VCO,

Here is a silly comparison as to how Bowman, Cassian and amils interpret scripture:

See Dick and Jane. Here is their dog Spot. See Spot run. Run Spot run!

Scripture: The man's name is Dick and the woman's name is Jane. They have a dog named Spot who is running.

Amils: Dick and Jane are not their real names and are in fact not even real people. Spot is not a dog, but some other animal and its name is not even mentioned.

They must have been a real pain in kindergarten.
Pathetic. This really sums up what you believe, impossibly childish (not childlike, children would grasp what you clearly don't)_

Furthermore you wholly misrepresent your opponent's position as usual. Its you who are the real pain.

But it shows why we can't help you. You are not capable of understanding grown up ideas. You are still in kindergarten.

That quote is insane.

You are busted.
Didn't he just contradict himself in that statement? "I am not a Catholic. I believe in One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church"

Unbelievable!

I would like a statement of faith from bowman, valiant, and cassian.

Particularly in the person and deity of Jesus, and the concept of Jesus receiving worship, and exalted of the Father as God ,as declared in the book of hebrews
I believe in...
The one true God who lives eternally in three personae—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
That the LORD Jesus Christ is true God and true man.
That He is truly to be worshiped along with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
The full plenary verbal inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures as originally given in all matters of faith and practise, seeing them as the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ—born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
The atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross: suffering for us, dying in our place as our substitute and representative, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.
The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and His present reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
Our present rule along with Him.

The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ alone without works being necessary for justification..
The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
That all who are Christ's are truly born from above of the Holy Spirit, having received eternal life.

The Church as the body of Christ, united with His body, both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers—given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit's gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love. The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

OK Popeye lets have yours in return.

The Bible that you claim is a perversion of scripture says:

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Tim.3:16)

"Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.[SUP]
(1 Tim.4:1)
[/SUP]
If you are not believing in the Bible as the true word of God, then you don't have any right to quote scripture, at all. You and those who believe as you do are apart of the problem of the distortion of the truth of God's word in these last days. We should not be surprised though because it was prophesied by Paul and Peter that this would happen. No wonder you are so messed up in your beliefs! So, instead of trusting in the word of God, you trust in what amillennialism teaches. This explains a lot as to why no one can contend for the truth of God's word with you and that because you don't believe the Bible to be the word of God. Until you realize that you have believed a lie and that the Bible is the true word of God, then you will continue in your deceived state and will only find out after it is too late. I will continue to pray for you, Bowman and Valiant that God would remove the veil so that you can see the truth.
Trusting the Word of God as He gave it is night and day difference in trusting men, including yourself, to develop theories based on the Bible. One cannot even count them anymore. I notice that you quote scripture that is self convicting of your acceptance of false teachings.

All of you are just emphasizing your false teachings instead of proving that I am supposedly incorrect. Cite any historical fact that all of historical Christianity has always believed in premillennialism. Kinda difficult when even secular historians prove the contrary. All of your innuendo does not change the work of the Holy Spirit. Satan cannot effect the entrance of man into Christ's Kingdom NOW, not in some mythical future earthly kingdom.

This is the same view that Israel had, even the disciples when they asked Jesus when He was going to set up His Kingdom here on earth. It is not until Pentecost that Peter becomes enlightened by the Holy Spirit and preaches that Christ, who they crucified is now sitting on the Throne of David and His rule is forever. This would have been an opportune time to state that Christ was still coming again to establish some earthly kingdom. For what reason, no one can explain, from Miller to the modern versions.

Sola scripturists are the ONLY ones distorting scripture. They assume the Bible is a source of idealogy. They impose their own interpretations upon scripture and thus filfill the text of I Tim 4:1.

Apparently, he does not believe in the teachings of the Catholic church, many of which are contrary to scriptural truth but does seek and desire a united universal body of believers that are thirsting for the Word of God and to apply it in how they live their lives. Jesus said once while talking to a small group that there are others that were not of this fold but He must gather them in also.

Be a Berean and check it out. It is all historical fact. I showed you where the false teaching of Chiliasm originated during the second and third centuries. After it was declared heretical at the Ecumenical Council of Constantinople 381 it has no real history with some writing in the west during the Middle Ages. It does not exist again until Darby in England and Miller in the US. It is not popularized until the mid twentieth century.

You seem the type of person who thinks the revelation was given in the 20th century in written form. The problem you have is that man has had a virtual field day with the Book called the Bible and developed hundreds of theories that never saw the light of day until their exposition. Hardly Gospel Truth from the beginning, Oh, the beginning is Pentecost, the beginning of the Messianic Age, the Church Age, the Church Christ established and is guarded and preserved by the Holy Spirit. Preserved a unified revelation that is unchanged from the beginning, just as He promised.

You have discarded the Holy Spirit and substituted men, including yourself, to develop ideas from a Book called the Bible. To hang on to such an obvious perversion of scripture that has a very clear modern origin is foolish.

I can keep asking for evidence but that is really rhetorical since there is no evidence that scripture ever had a teaching such as premillennialism, and dispensationalism as given by the Apostles.
We really love to know what were the stands of your doctrines
my brother

:sisid: and if we may ask this question too with your concern
to what really happeneds from the past :takbo:

:dontknow: And what are this two great lights mention in gen 1:16
Genesis: 1. 16. And God made two great lights: a greater light to rule the day; and a lesser light to rule the night: and the stars.
~:» hope this will not affect the "OP"
:smoke: for there's a reason for everything and
God only knows

Godbless to all

Copy and paste your quote into google search;

It takes you here;
Catechism of the Catholic Church - The Transmission of Divine Revelation
bingo! The operative spirit behind the poster.
cassian the catholic, demonizing the body of christ over non essentials.
It is good that the Catholic Church still has it written in their catechism but unfortunately they have not followed it for 1000 years now. It is quite obvious the Holy Spirit did not give us the Filioque, or the Papacy, or Indulgences, Original Sin, Immaculate Conception of Mary, or the infallibility of the Pope and a number of other things. This latter one is what was adopted by all sola scripturists. They substituted themselves as the infallible interpreter of scripture. History has given us a very manifest picture of that outcome.

If it is non essential to your faith, why would you hold to such a doctrine. Especially when it degrades, undermines the actual meaning of scripture.?

"I am not a Catholic, I believe in One, Holy, Catholic" that's contradiction, sorry.
The Roman Catholics have elevated a second meaning to a first meaning because they are no longer catholic. The original Greek meaning is whole and complete. It is used theologically to characterize the Trinitarian nature of each congregation in the Church.

That you see it as a contradiction shows how little you actually understand about what scripture means.

Well, I don't know if you have read his other posts, but he does not recognize the Bible as the source of truth of God's word. In fact, he called it a perversion. Therefore regardless, he is not in the truth. On top of that, he believes in the teachings of Amillennialism, which is one of the most deceiving and destructive false teachings out there, right along with the teaching of salvation by works.

:scarf: for there are things that was been said in the holy scriptures
that does not contradict to itself

:smoke: when we are reading the holy scripture
We never put any idea into it
but we listen to what is says just like
How our parents thought us from the start
of being human with understanding
not by the letters but by the feelings and emotion
known as LOVE . ...

that we us they others anyone everyone feels also
from the words of the people who nurtured us them all
and keep us safe even when we were just an infant
that even a tiny fly will never touch the end of our
finger nails because that is how the human LOVE
is supposed to be
*as what is written in the scripture
Luke: 11. 11. And which of you, if he ask his father bread, will he give him a stone? or a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12. Or if he shall ask an egg, will he reach him a scorpion?
13. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father from heaven give the good Spirit to them that ask him?

THE WRITTEN WORDS OF GOD NEVER CONTRADICT ITSELF
BUT ONLY THOSE WHO REWRITE THE HISTORY ACCORDING TO
THEIR OWN WILL AND NOT TO
THE WILL OF GOD . . .....

:count: imagined how many dialects we have in this reality of ours :dontknow:

We have no problem understanding the Scriptures, we have the spirit of the author and the Holy Spirit in us to teach us what it means by what it says. You only interpret the Scriptures with what lies between your ears.

It has been my experience that there are two types of members of the Roman Catholic Church.

There are Catholic Catholics who follow the Pope, the order of service, and Mary, yet they almost never study the Bible.

AND

There are born again Christian Catholics who follow Jesus Christ as LORD, and study the Bible almost daily.

YES, the born again Christian Catholics are the few on the Narrow Road, but they still are there. I have known and spent a great deal of time discussing the Bible with two definitely born again Catholic Priests in my lifetime.

BUT the protestant side is equally filled with the non-born again Church members, who only know about Jesus, and in REALLY DO NOT KNOW JESUS PERSONALLY AND INTIMATELY AS LORD, MEANING MASTER. AMONG THEM YOU WILL ALSO FIND MANY FALSE PROPHETS LEADING PEOPLE ASTRAY. BENNY HINN AND THE REST OF THE WORD OF FAITH MOVEMENT are right at the top of the heap. BY THEIR FRUIT, YOU WILL KNOW THEM.

Is there any doubt what kind of fruit GREED is:

I have personally heard you quote our beliefs, totally wrong on several occasions. Obviously someone taught you those false statements about our beliefs. IS THAT NOT A LIE?
