Preacher brought a decent message this morn. Jesus and women. He pointed out something that I'd never considered, and I love and appreciate when that happens from the bible.
Talking about Mary Magdalene and her role before and after Christ's death.
He noted that women never had any problem with Christ. Every single time someone gave Him trouble it was a man. And that's true.
But then Jezebel or my 2nd ex wasn't around then either. ;)

1 Corinthians 14:30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.

34 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

36 Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? 37 If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. 38 But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored. 39 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.

Okay, then what was Paul was trying to tell the people? I know it hurts a man that his woman can prophesied like Elizabeth had known that Mary was carrying the God-child before Mary can have the chance to tell Elizabeth, and while Elizabeth's husband the High priest at the time, had to remained silent and which the high priest were the ones that supposedly of had done all of the prophesying.

John 11:51 He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,

Mary Magdalene was named in the gospels more than most of the apostles!
She was witness to three key events in the life of Christ:
His crucifixion, His burial, and His resurrected Self.
Mary Magdalene was the first to witness the risen Lord. :)

The wife of Herod had quite a spirit of Jezebel. She killed John the baptist though.

She did ask for his head, though I doubt she was the one to remove it ;) Speaking of Jezebel, the very first forum where I was posting as a Christian had this one guy who used to go on and on about his sexual exploits while witnessing, to the point one could honestly wonder what site one was on, or where he thought he was, because his stories came across as being quite gratuitously pornographic. When I pointed this out to him, he called me a Jezebel, and I had to laugh, because I had seen him call many other Christian women that when he disagreed with them. :)

What is your problem that when a post is made taking notice of the love that Christ had for women, and they He, when He walked this earth that you find it necessary to try to force your doctrine down someones throat by adding to God's word? Huh? Why do you do that? Did your mom not spank you when you were little or what?

Adam was not deceived. Eve was. Adam ate willingly of his own will. 1Tim. 2:13, 14 Jesus died for all his elect. Man, or woman

Jesus died for the whole world. If not, that would make Him a respecter of persons.

Eve was deceived - yes, but Adam was the one who should have been looking out for his wife. Jesus Christ died for all people and offers salvation to all, but not everyone accepts His gift of grace.

i know that men wants to be exalted as the lord of his household. But they will become humbled like Zechariah.

Christianity shouldn't be about which sex is superior, or which one supposedly has the wisdom of a box of rocks.

God's wisdom is infinitely above ours, and He chose (and still chooses) men or women based on what His will is. There is no need for us to bicker and say either "God must like men better" or "God must like women better". Or even "Eve was the one who was deceived" or "Adam was the one who chose to disobey with a clear mind."

All of that back and forth stuff just distracts us from the tasks that Christ has given to us to do. So let's work together, men and women, as fellow soldiers in His army.
