I use to think his return was just around the corner, but now I'm beginning to think that the odds of me going to Jesus might occur sooner than him coming for me.

Thanks to all who have posted here so far it is so much more uplifting than discussing the fear of hell.....just the few posts and Bible passages have made my heart sing and I feel so encouraged about the coming of our Jesus and I can just imagine how excited the Lord is to see some of His children getting excited and posting positively trying to encourage each other in this world full of hardships and pain....
Jesus lived here too and He knows what each one of us go through daily and His heart breaks with ours. He is chomping at the bit to come He wants to be here and will be when it is the perfect time God the Father knows when that is in the mean time we need to get ready.
Prepare our hearts to meet the Lord becoming more and more like Jesus each day....

Isa. 54:16"Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. 17"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD.
We know it is the end times and Jesus will soon come back because the Bible gives us scriptures to let us know it is close,although we will not know the day because nobody knows but the Father when this will occur.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

God told Daniel what would happen on a world wide scale,but Daniel told God he did not understand,and God said,do not worry about it,but go about your business,for the book is sealed until the time of the end,so you cannot understand it,but the people at that time period will understand it,because many shall run to and fro,and knowledge shall be increased,which is advanced travel,and technology.
The things Jesus explained in Matthew 24 about the end times,can only be understood if there is technology.
People will be able to understand the end times,when the world will start rebelling against God,and close to Jesus coming back,because of technology and advanced travel,which allows the saints to view the whole world and understand what is going on,and it will be because the world can communicate with each other,and travel to each other,that will be the factor why they can come together on a world wide scale.

God told us of the last generation before Jesus comes back,which will be an attitude that has never been this terrible in selfishness and wanting to exalt one self,which will lead them to the beast kingdom,that is a kingdom that exalts people and diminishes God.
We see this attitude today,which they will not obey parents.I cannot see anywhere in history,prior to what happened not too long ago,where the younger people rebelled on a nationwide scale,and England,that has affected other nations.
God said that children honoring their parents is the first commandment with promise,because if they humble themselves before their parents,most likely they will humble themselves before God.
They will be highly selfish and arrogant.
They will heap money to themselves all in an exalting fashion,that they will not care about the poor and needy,they will only care about give me,give me.
We see this attitude concerning people in general,but mostly concerning business people,because they have the means to be able to heap a lot of money to them selves,but can apply to anybody that makes crazy money,who are unthankful,and can never have enough.
It is like America became a competition,and people try to see how far they can go in heaping money to themselves,and they feel justified because that is success.
But we are at the point in time that people do not like each other as much.Ever since Adam and Eve sinned,the world became selfish and arrogant,and will get worse,because that is the direction they are going.Ever since Adam and Eve sinned the world has been going towards the beast kingdom.
Jesus said,since iniquity shall abound,the love of many shall wax cold,because sin is a lack of love,and the world gets worse in selfishness and wanting to exalt them self as time goes on to where we are at the point in time,because people are highly selfish and arrogant,that the attitude people have towards other people is people basically care about them self with little regard for anybody else,so you do not care about me,I do not care about you,which causes them to want to exalt them self more,which they do not like each other even more,which makes them want to exalt them self more,and the cycle keeps going.
People will heap money to themselves not caring about other people,because they have the attitude you do not care about me,I do not care about you,and also America's system promotes selfishness and arrogance,that will cause hatefulness,but if people acted decent like in times past,it might keep people at bay from getting too greedy,but also technology allows them to heap money to them selves that they never could before,because they can reach the whole nation,reach the whole world.
We know that it is close to Jesus coming back because the attitude of the last generation is here.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Paul said he did not have a need to write to the saints concerning the day of Lord,for the saints know that day comes as a thief in the night,and Paul does not know so he cannot write about it.
But Paul gives us a hint when it is close,when the world says peace and safety,which means the world will come together and try to solve their problems,but it will be without God's assistance,and the saints will not be deceived by that,for they will know that is not the way to have peace on earth,but only by God and Jesus can there truly be peace on earth.
We know it is close to Jesus coming back when we can see the world coming together,and trying to cooperate with each other to establish peace on earth.
There is the United Nations,trying to get the nations to cooperate.There is the United Religions,trying to get the religions to cooperate.There is the World Trade Center,trying to get the nations to cooperate with each other for trade.
There is the Vatican and the Pope,trying to promote the unifying of all religions,and says that anybody that seeks the will of God on earth has salvation,even if they do not accept Christ.
Pope Francis reaches out to atheists and agnostics saying God will forgive them if they behave morally and live according to their conscience,which is how God will judge people that never heard the Bible,but they would have to believe in a God that is good,and although they do not know His ways completely,if they live morally and ask God for forgiveness,especially when they are ready to depart,I believe they will be saved when they are judged after the millennial reign.They did not know Jesus to accept them but they believed in a God and did the best they could,for we know to do good,and if they did wrong they repented to God.
This Pope is trying to unify everybody,and will be the key factor why the religions come together.If he does not complete it the next Pope will complete it.If the Pope says atheists are alright for rejecting the Bible and Christ,then he would be saying that anybody can be saved without accepting the Bible or Jesus as long as they live morally.So in essence anybody can be saved whether they accept the Bible or not.With that attitude it is obvious that the Pope wants all religions to unify.
Europe will eventually unify,with all ready a lot of nations belonging to the European Union.
We know it is close to Jesus coming back because the world is trying to cooperate with each other and we see they are slowly uniting,until all nations come together believing they can have peace on earth by their efforts.
