We never know when our end will come, but even if it comes before Jesus does the next moment we will see Him coming in the clouds and the dead in Christ shall rise from their graves and meet Him in the air then we who are alive will be caught up and so we shall ever be with the Lord for eternity...What a blessed hope even so come Lord Jesus.

Jeremiah 49:

34The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
35Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
36And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
37For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

38And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.

39But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.

Whenever someone says Jesus will come again, I want to say that he never left. He's still here. He speaks to us through the Holy Spirit. Yes?

[h=1]Isaiah 25:8-9King James Version (KJV)[/h] [SUP]8 [/SUP]He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Yes, the Holy Spirit is here with us.....But don't you look forward to Jesus Second Coming to put and end to this wicked world that we live in? To be reunited with dead loved ones? There is a lot to look forward to and as long as we continue to trust and obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit we should be able to look forward with joy for when that day does happen....

1. Elam is Persia (You can check the history books on this.) The Persians (now called Iranians) have ONLY been scattered once in recorded history and that has been occurring since the revolution that happened there in 1979 which has caused the exodus many many Iranians. There is not one territory in the world where Iranians (Persians) do no reside.

2. The prophecy is about the second coming, per documented fulfillment above, and also verse 39.

3. Why would God set his throne in Persia?

Hi eveyone , I would like give you my thoughts on this.
These are only my thoughts , I see alot of you Quoting the bible , do any of you keep in mind when reading, that certain things were written down long ago by man , by man that were touch by God , there only one message in there , the message is of goodness to all mankind ...... yet so many bad things are done by using the word of God .
Why is there so many religions ? I've ask this question many times , it's like we're a bouch a 2 year old bickering among are self trying to prove who's wrong a wright ......isn't there just one God ? one creator ? or wasting mindless drivel on open forums.....lol.
What I think about the second coming , I think He's here already , your might be thinking ......why in God's name doesn't he show himself , the truth is.....it's really complicated , complicated that it would destroy a people ....and it would send the world into a friendzy .....

Let me quote from an old song from the late 60's: Troublesome times are here, filling men's hearts with fear. Freedoms we all hold dear now is at stake. Humbling your heart to GOD, saves from the chastening rod, seek the way Pilgrims trod, CHRISTIANS AWAKE! Jesus is coming soon, morning or night or noon. Many will meet their doom. Trumpets will sound. All of the dead shall rise, righteous meet in the skies, going where no one dies, heavenward bound!

Love of so many, cold...losing their homes of gold. This in GOD's Word is told, evils abound. When these signs come to pass, nearing the END at last, it will come very fast...heavenward bound!

WOW...How prophetic this song really was, then and NOW!

Our ONLY hope is in him. When he returns we his people get to see him as he really is. If we die, physical, or are here on this earth when he comes back, either way we get to be with him and worship him forever and ever, and that is beyond our human understanding. But it WILL be wonderful! So tell others about him and his plan of Salvation while here, giving him all the honor and glory due his holy name.

Thank you for your thoughts.... and many good questions....

Why so many religions? Because there is sin in the world and people interpret the Bible differently. Why do we bicker? Because there is sin in the world.... If we would follow what Jesus told us to love one another things would be different, but people don't listen and there is still sin in this world.

Jesus also said I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again to receive you unto myself that where I am there ye may be also.... So even Jesus said He would go away but come again.

You are always welcome here and I at least will try and show you this love that Jesus spoke about. I also invite you to accept Jesus as your personal Savior as He is waiting to welcome you into the fold of believers. He longs to forgive your sins.

John 14:1-3New International Version (NIV)Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[SUP][a][/SUP]; believe also in me. [SUP]2 [/SUP]My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? [SUP]3 [/SUP]And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Right, and some people believe that this present earth will be renovated and the saints and Jesus will dwell here forever, but Jesus said He went away to prepare a place,so it is not a renovated earth.

Revelation 21:
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.…

This was John speaking and the New Jerusalem is the places that Jesus was preparing for us....so no it won't be on this wicked sinful earth but the new earth....just as John saw and wrote about it.
