That's the rare word being practiced nowadays. Discernment.
If you discern, it is the same as you oppress, condemn and ridicule.

Lord have mercy

What does the word discernment mean in the Bible?
  1. In its simplest definition, discernment is nothing more than the ability to decide between truth and error, right and wrong. Discernment is the process of making careful distinctions in our thinking about truth. In other words, the ability to think with discernment is synonymous with an ability to think biblically.

What is biblical discernment and why is it important?

May God's grace be shown to you. Paul Washer was not making fun of Joel Osteen, he simply describes what the bible says on preachers like him. False teachers.

I'm very thankful grace has been and continues to be shown to us and enough to be able to give it to others 'of like precious faith' especially. I listened to the video you put up leonardronaldo and it's the first thing Paul Washer does., talk about Joel O. and laugh along with those he is speaking to. How would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot? Just because many and popular Christians engage in character assassination, doesn't mean its right.

“They both teach a twisted form of Christianity that teaches obedience, giving, and faith as a way to get things from God,” he wrote. “They are both products of what is known as the Prosperity Gospel and The Word of Faith Movement, or the Seed Faith Movement.”

“I think it's a cotton candy gospel," the Rev. Michael Horton, professor of theology at Westminster Seminary in Escondido, California, told CBS News. “His core message is God is nice, you're nice, be nice. It's sort of a, if it were a form of music, I think it would be easy listening. He uses the Bible like a fortune cookie. 'This is what's gonna happen for you. There's gonna be a windfall in your life tomorrow.' The Bible's not meant to be read that way."

Paul Washer was deceiving? Care to explain your thought? I would love to be free from such deceit (if it is true).

If someone likes that style of preaching, that's fine. I don't care for it. It won't stand up to the trial by fire.

Didn't they try that whole "give Money to get the blessings" thing in the 70's?

Paul Washer is a biblical christian and a humble man of God.One the other hand there is so much wrong with wolves like Joel Olsteen and Rick Warren that it is hard to know where to begin. One only has to google them to find an absolute deluge of rebukes and warnings on their false teachings that you would have to be a mug to still follow them.

Unfortunately it's more than just the style of preaching that is different with these men.Paul Washer,(following Jesus Christ's style of preaching) sometimes tells people things the don't want to hear and that upset them, while the other man (Olsteen) is an ear tickler and a crowd pleaser, this man does not warn people of eternal damnation or the need for repentance. (Unlike Jesus Christ)
Olsteen is fearful of upsetting people and loosing money so he does not preach on sensitive topics as Jesus Christ once did and as his follower Paul Washer does.

Does the bible command Christians to test the spirit or is it not?
How to determine whether someone is teaching falsely or teaching the truth?

I guess the answer would be by smiling and grab it and blab it and preach God loves you and have a wonderful plan for your life. Or is it not?

the problem with osteen is that he is more of a motivational speaker or a self help guru than a gospel preacher...

the problem with washer is that he often preaches from pride yet manages to convince the undiscerning of his 'humility' through theatrics...he also subscribes to the flawed doctrine of 'lordship salvation' and takes the calvinist doctrine of total depravity to an unbiblical misanthropic extreme... but his biggest problem is that many of his followers have a very cultish level of regard for him...yet in spite of his reputation for supposedly 'preaching the truth without sugar coating' he hasn't been nearly as blunt with his followers about their behavior...

Lol you must be looking at a wrong video if you classify Paul Washer as preaching Prosperity Gospel and part of the Word of Faith Movement. Keep looking.

Very true, those seeker-friendly churches ought to acknowledge that for a church there will only be one seeker and His name is God and you better accommodate His will if you want to claim to be a church, not lost people's will.

That's exactly my point in making this op.
If the world hates Jesus (which it does) for preaching the Truth, how can any of His servant think that the world will not hate him? Or maybe that person was not His servant at all to begin with.

Prove your point please, that paul washer's teachings are not unbiblical.
He hasn't been blunt with his followers? Really?
