Satan and his horde do not come to the believer in Christ and say "Sin all you want" because no one would for fall for such a lie.

Instead they come
as
"ministers of righteousness".

They want us to live by our own D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness so that we will be not be depending on what Christ has done for us by grace through faith alone for salvation.

This cuts us off from receiving the grace of God in our lives.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[SUP]15 [/SUP] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

( notice that is "their" works )

This below is what satan is really after...this is why he has false teachers in our midst. He wants us to fall away from grace and depend on our own performance.

1 Peter 1:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Oh.....wow I am familiar with Mr Rueben Israel (Chevaz) in this video.

He is a provocateur who preaches to be saved one stops sinning and becomes obedient.

Without a doubt he denies the efficacy of the work of the cross.

We have people here, where I live, trained by him and the language he uses is deplorable and derogatory.

[h=2]Luke 24:46-48[/h]

46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things

[h=2]Luke 5:31-32[/h]

31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Acts 3:19 - Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Luke 13:3 - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Ezekiel 18:21-23 - But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. (Read More...)

Acts 17:30 - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Proverbs 28:13 - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.

James 4:8-10 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded. (Read More...)

Revelation 2:5 - Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

2 Corinthians 7:9-11 - Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. (Read More...)

Well Pollyanna if you are involved with this group and their beliefs I suggest you get out.

They make themselves fruit inspectors, they replace the message of redemption with condemnation, sincerely get away as fast as you can.

The words from a song titled Rudy come to mind: "too late, too late."

Like some contributors here if you polarise the debate you just emphasis the error.

It is easy to flip a point to 180 degree the opposite unless you are careful.
Joel says some nice things and is very encouraging. Many want this message,
peace, health and prosperity with a God peace badge for good keeping.

The error has been like in Jeremiahs day, the sin left unchecked is destroying
the very foundations while wealth just keeps things appearing to hang together.

When the next big challenge to our culture comes, the seeds sown here will sprout
into something very different than expected.

What you and others have a really hard time grasping is that SIN has no dominion over the believer. I still miss the mark at times as we all do, but the Gospel is not standing high on the self righteous ladder and pointing out the SIN of others, it is about adding souls to the kingdom....PERIOD!

People that still worry about the SIN problem in their lives have never really been set free and they only make it about themselves, which pleases the enemy greatly. If the enemy can place focus on yourself and make it all about you, then you will never share the gospel or care about the lost and dying. God is still not dealing with the SIN problem of the believer, he sent his son to take care of that problem over 2,000 years ago.

IN fact, and this will cause heads to explode as a truth grenade should, Jesus is not as concerned with the Believer as people make him out to be...

I will let that one marinate for awhile....
