The words of Bookends : John the Baptist did have sin, he doubted.

Now for John the baptist to have comitted sin, ANY sin the Holy Spirit of God had to commit that sin. Why? Because the only Spirit that was in John the Baptist was the Holy Spirit of God…. John the baptist was the ONLY man born of woman, that had the Holy Spirit of GOD in him from his mother’s womb.

The only OTHER Baby that had ONLY the Holy Spirit in Him ws Jesus, but he was not born of woman and man. He was born of virgin and God…. The Holy Spirit was the Father of Jesus, but John was made just as Holy as Jesus from his mother’s womb… Jesus was FILLIED with the Holy Spirit from His first breath out of His mother’s womb …. But so was John the baptist, as God told Zacharias… Luke 1… and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
John shall be FILLED with the HOLY GHOST FROM HIS MOTHERS WOMB….

Now we have too look at the Holy Spirit…..Let us get HIS character in this study. And let us ask ourselves…

CAN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMMIT SIN, ANY SIN? Can the Spirit of God HOLY SPIRIT EVER COMMIT A SINGLE SIN? NO HE CANNOT!!!! In fact He cannot even be tempted! I knoe Jesus was tempted but He tells us why. God says this VERY clearly in James…. God cannot be tempted with evil,

So clearly a person filled with God’s Spirit CANNOT sin. If that were not true not even God can keep a fleshly man Holy… and God declares all His propjets ….HOLY MEN OF GOD MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST…. If thse men are sinners, then even Jesus was a sinner…. And we know that is not true…

Jesus is the unltimate proof that God CAN KEEP FLESH HOLY…. And this is what you all have to learn that does not understand this YET…. God does so to IMPLANT HIS SEED (HIS HOLY SPIRIT) into a flesh body….

Let me just put emphesys on this…. GOD MAKES A FLESH BODY HOLY WHEN HE IMPLANTS HIS HOLY SPIRIT IN THAT BODY…. 100% HOLY… John the baptist was holy the day he was born because the ONLY SPIRIT THAT WAS IN HIM WAS GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT…. And John the baptist was holy the day they chopped his head off, because the ONLY SPIRIT IN JOHN FROM BIRTH TO DEATH WAS THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD…. Do not EVER doubt this….

If John did sin, the Holy Spirit failed and we know HE CANNOT FAIL GOD….

First let us know how well John did know Jesus….. Well John knew Jesus so well that Elijah (who was John the Baptist) went up to God as Prophet Elijah… And when John was in his mother’s womb the baby eve ngot excited about the other baby (Baby Jesus) in Mary. So even before they were born they were CONNECTED by the HOLY GHOST…. Imagine an embrio getting excited bout another embrio in another mother… WOW!!! Then some people think John doubted Jesus was the Messiah? Come ON, are you for real? Do you REALLT doubt that John doubted who Jesus were? So let us go on and see if your claim, can stand against SCRIPTURE…

It was said when John preached and baptized Jesus came to him and John said … I should be baptized of THEE… you think John knew who he was talking too? And to confirm just how Jesus was the Messiah, John saw the Spirit of God descending upon Jesus like a dove. And John heard the voice …THIS IS MY SON…. Now how would John EVER forget all these events…The Holy Spirit will not FORGET who is the OthER one that is also full of the HOLY SPIRIT…

How can the Holy Spirit in one man not regonise and know the Holy Spirit in another man…Come on people do not be really closed on knowledge about this….

JOHN THE BAPTIST NEVER DOUBTED JESUS WAS THE CHRIST…. NEVER!!!! If He did he would not be the greatest born from woman and flesh, but the worst memory ever!!!! And I am 100% sure NEVER doubted Jesus as Christ…. NEVER!!!! John agknowledge Jesus as the ONE after him again in John 3:27 & 28… Just before he was arrested….Jhn knew here Jesus was the given MESSIAH.

So what about John saying this to two of HIS DISCIPLES?...… If we are sure John knew it was Jesus, why would John send two of his loyal disciples to Jesus….. We already saw and know John knew it was Jesus, but was John’s disciples convinced? NOPE! If they were they would have been the disciples of Jesus, not John. But od made sure John fulfilled the calling of John. Jhn the baptist did not stop baptizing people and he did not stop reproving people of sin… That will stop when they kill the Prophet of John the Baptist… John will only stop when the Prophet murederes kill him as well. And so they did, and like all people of God they knew they would pay with their lives.

John was the last Old Testement prophet that will die at the hands of the wicket… And he did. But not before he had Jesus tell his disciples (John’s disciples) who Jesus was. It was NOT for the knowledge of John that he sent his two disciples to as Jesus… Are you the one or should we wait for another?....

It was for the benefit of ALL John’s disciples and baptized disciples to know THE MESSIAH ARRIVED… John’s work was DONE, and He had Jesus tell his disciples that….. Jesus ended…. BLESSED IS HE THAT SHALL NOT BE OFFENDED BY ME…. That should say all….

John was expecting that the Messiah was coming to castaway the wicked into the flames, but instead He came riding on a donkey. It was Judgment day, and Jesus came to show mercy because there were no righteous on the earth.

Jonah 4:1 But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. 2 He prayed to the Lord, “Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. 3 Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”
4 But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

[h=3]1 John 4[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. [SUP]2 [/SUP]By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, [SUP]3 [/SUP]and every spirit that does not confess that[SUP][a][/SUP] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. [SUP]5 [/SUP]They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. [SUP]6 [/SUP]We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Ecclesiates 7:20,
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For there is not a just man on earth who does good
And does not sin.

I believe the Word of God, not the word of Cobus.

Maybe we can achive more than Elijah, God says.... There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Posthuman I fear NOTHING..... I expected you to also have no fear of anything... Maybe God's love is perfected in me .... Wow! I reallt fear nothing, not even Jezebel or her lust and filth.... I fear NOTHING, not even judgment day.... God is MY GOD, and he said He will give me a new heart, that can only love, and His Spirit.... And He will CAUSE me to walk in His statutes.... I believe Him and I trust his will will be done in me as in heaven....

Praise the HOLY NAME OF GOD, in whom we are ALL CALLED. May the Lord's will be done in you too! Amen!

Herosefromthedead if there EVER was an ungodly prayer you just did one.... It is like you tell God what to do AFTER He told you that is exactly what he will do, and if you do want this prayer at least COMPLETE the command God said His Spirit will do...

Look what God said HIS Spirit will do.....And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
So you see you do not have to remind God os what HE SAID HE WILL DO...

Rather ask God to take you from reprove of sin, to reprove of righteousness, and then unto reprove of judgment.

Do you understand that these are processes of God to make a righteous judge from a sinner? I hope you do! God took me to the reproof of righteousness now..... Second step of Holy Spirit (God's) Work... To say to God he still need to reprove me of SIN is to tell God where to work, and it is HIS desision not yours, You are NOT The Holy Spirit.

Clarky what about the eph 4:11 to 13 people, and the ones Jesus gave His Glory too in John 17? read it and share wit hme where those still fall short please...

I suppose we [the church, the saints] are achieving more then Elijah. This, what you said, I can totally agree with and may it be a prayer we all pray. Amen

Out of everything i have read on this post this must be the most ridiculous thing ever seriously.

John was a man and the pressures of being in prison He started to doubt just like God people did back then , are doing now and will continue to do . John was a sinner only Jesus was sinless Amen to that .

Isdaniel can you tell me what this SEED of God is?
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

You must take everything into context it simply means that sinful life is no more but a righteous life which embodies sining but not living a sinful life . there is a difference

If you are saying the verse says that we cannot sin at all then why do we need to ask for forgiveness of sins

1John 1

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us

Peter is not my God. Jesus is and He said I will be made in the image of Him not Peter. I do not care if Peter sinned or not, Jesus did not and I am re-made in his image.

Peter's sin or holiness is NOT GOING to save you....

Isadaniel stop fooling yourself about there is sin in the NEW IMAGE OF JESUS..... There is NO SIN IN HIM, neither in the ones made is His likeness, Not Perter's likeness...

Let me give all sinners just ONE verse..... and you qouted the book of 1 JOhn 4..... I will qoute the SAME JOHN you qouted....
He that committeth sin is of the devil;

And the opposite of sin is RIGHTEOUSNESS (there is no sin in roghteousness) SAME BOOK SAME WRITER...

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

We now see there are TWO groups of People here.... those from satan, and those from God. One Sin, and that is the DEVIL and his children, and one SINNETH NOT... That is God and HIS CHILDREN.... You are either sinner as the devil or righteous as GOd is righteous.....NOTHING IN BETWEEN.... There is no THIRD GROUP...

Me I am with God and in HIS WILL....

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Cobus...keep believing that. I would advise you look at Paul and Peter though they had the Holy spirit...they stilled failed. God commanded us to be Holy because only through HIM that I have the power to look more and more like Jesus, but I WILL NEVER match him. You may sin less and less as you grow in Christ, but you will never EVER stop sinning.

I ADMIT I AM WEAK because when I am weak GOD IS STRONG! If i admit that I was strong, I would NOT NEED A GOD. I will always sin, but that is why JESUS DIED FOR MY SINS!

Kingerick they only failed untol you understand they did not fail. I also thought that they did bad having that difference, until God SHOWED me why they had the difference....

Let me tell you this.... If they did not have the difference, I would NEVER have known that the Gospel of the circumcised and the gospel of the uncircumcised is not the same. There is a gospel PAter had to be true too, and there is a Gospel Paul had to be true too, and the two in the infant stage is NOT THE SAME.....

Lter they are perfectly one, but in the calling and repent stage they AE NOT THE SAME..... When they are both filled with Holy Spirit then they are ONE but up to there they are not the same.... I understood why the two had a difference... and let me assure you they did not sin, neither of them.... I know many will not agree, but that is OK. In my eyes they revealed how they were BOTH TRUE TO THEIR GOSPELS.....And there is NO SIN in that....

Galathians 2 says.... But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

Oh Kingerik, I will not limit God to my weakness but God will have me DEAD so HE CAN LIVE in me....I do not want to be weak, I am DEAD! Like Paul says....I DIED ON THE CROSS.... How can a dead man sin? HE IS DEAD!!!! I am not weak, I AM DEAD! God was strong when I was weak, but now that I am DEAD, ONLY GOD LIVES IN ME.... I AM DEAD!!! God lives and HE CANNOT SIN.

What is so difficult to see..... DEAD IS GONE....Look EVERYThING IS MADE NEW... HOW NEW?

Well the STONEY heart that did all the sin in me is REMOVED... and BURNT IN THE FIRE.... GONE DEAD AND DESTOYED... TO NEVER live again.... DEAD as in DEAD DEAD DEAD....

But the NEW HEART is the HEART OF GOD.... It is a heart that CANNOT SIN... IT is the HEART OF GOD HIMSELF... It is not my stoney heart made flesh..... IT IS HIS FLESH HEART...THe flesh of GOD HEART... And the spirit of the sinning Cobus? He is as dead as DEAD DEAD DEAD.... The OLD is GONE.... not some of it still here... the old is not weak.... IT IS DEAD! That sinning spirit is washed in the Blood... and ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS is WASHED AWAY,... Not off ....It is WASHED OFF and taken AWAY.

And the SPirit now in me? OH BOY GET READY FOR IT..... IT IS THE SAME SPIRIT THAT WAS IN JESUS TO KEEP HIM PERFECT AND WITHOUT SIN.... JUST AS GOD CAUSED JESUS TO WALK AS HE WANTED HIM TOO< SO GOD NOW CAUSE ME TO WALK AS HE WANTS ME TOO....

Look at this... Now tell me how much (STONY HEART) is left in me if God TAKES IT OUT OF ME? And how well would God cause me to walk in his WAY? Can God CAUSE me to be PERFECT? With His Heart His Spirit and my NEW BODY?

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

It is EVIL to say God cannot take away ALL SIN from me and give me HIS PERFECT HEART AND SPIRIT...
