The word gospel - literally means

“good tidings,”
2 or “good news.”
3The Greek word euaggelion, which was translated “gospel” in seventy-four New Testament verses,4 was so rare in writings outside of the New Testament that it’s found only twice in the extra-biblical manuscripts we have access to. The reason for this is because this word not only meant “good news,” but it was actually describing nearly-too-good-to-be-true news. There wasn’t much in the world that was nearly too good to be true before Jesus came. But the biblical writers adopted this word because it was very descriptive of what the Lord did for us.
The Gospel is good news—not bad news! That definitely limits what we mean by the word gospel. Many things that aren’t good news have been promoted as “the Gospel.” For instance, quite a few people associate the Gospel with teaching that says, “You’re a sinner. If you don’t repent, you’re going to hell!” Now, these are true statements. There is a heaven and a hell, a God and a devil, and you will go to hell if you don’t repent and receive salvation. But even though all of that is truth, it’s not good news.

It is good news because we had nothing to do with this free gift of salvation. The onlt thing left after the resurrection is for us to eoither beleive or not believe. And i like what you said about it being so good how can it be true? Because we allexperience bad things in and of this world a lot, so Lord help me with my unbeleif for the world and its ways do try to crowd out this amzing salvation of death burial and resurrection, wher we are made alive by belief in you doing this for us while none of us ever deserved li8fe we all deserve death and you gave life WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It reminds me that Jesus said that the words He spoke will judge them in the last days:

John 12

we just speak what God places in our hearts to speak with love, even if the world does not recognize that exhortations can be given with love so that they might be brought to godly sorrow and repentance and turn from the darkness to the Light and be healed.
Love your postings Ariel

Yet don't we need to discern whether it is us doing the work or God through us as you pointed out scripture Christ did say or do nothing without Father's say so
And we the believers that have recieved this same Spirit that was in Christ and thus being born again of the Spirit are to learn when to and not to, all in Love of God whom first loved us.
This takes great discernment of who we are in Christ, for sin is all around us in this world and I am glad thier is Law in place for the Law breakers, not for the mature believers, so anyone in Christ is no longer a Lawbreaker unless they focus on not sinning trying to keep from because
Galatians 6:8For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Sow is the same as think of, and we are to think of The Spirit of God and learn to do so at all times in all situations and no desire of the flesh will then be fulfilled

''Only God can judge me''. Translation=Let me sin in peace, I don't want to hear the truth
Sorry I have to say How deep this love is beyond anything of or from this world

That is why we all have free choice God given because God loves us otherwise we would be puppets dangled about on a string and that is why he did it all at the cross to bring one to salvation by belief unto the resurrection. We had nothing to do with it.
Now that is love, and I pick Father's side

Jesus said in John chapter 8, He that is without sin among you,let him first cast a stone at her. then after they all dropped the stones and walked away, Jesus said, woman where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She answered and said No man, Lord. Jesus said neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Point being Jesus was with out sin, never sinned and Jesus still didn't condemn the woman. If you want the whole story read John Chapter 8, i wasn't adding to or taking from, i was just making a point.

Our Lord also teaches, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtian mercy." I believe this blessing goes hand and hand with my signature verse, also taught by our Lord.

forgiveness of sins is GOOD news.
100% percent for it allows us to approach the throne of grace in our times of need and my time is all the time desiring only tolive in the Spirit where no sin ever occurs
