For what and why. What difference will it make?
1 Thessalonians 2:13.
2 Timothy 3:16.
Romans 10:17.

For without faith, it is impossible to please Him.

Doubting his Word and thinking it has errors in it is a lack of faith.

Yep, I know that guy also, he tried to take the new testament and inject it into the old testament. Talk about seeing errors, that guy is beyond words he now moves entire chapters. That's ok, I have done it also. It is a part of spending 20+ years studying the bible days at the time. God's word is pure, the errors are there to bring man to awareness of his message. It is by language that you fall and I am always right there to pick you up and set you right back where you have always been.
The Old Testament Law of Moses has been fulfilled in Jesus Christ; And we are now under the New Testament.
As for the supposed errors you see in the KJV: They only exist in your mind and cannot be confirmed by comparing Scripture with Scripture.

Thats kinda funny because most sinners don't read the word. The do hear it preached and then get saved. Then they start to read the word.

But really, who cares about an ahazaih's view. The only view that concerns me is the Father's view and He can only see faith in the work of the cross.

Why do i need to know the layout of the temple, why do I need to know the intricate details of the law. Why do I need to know this stuff. My 5 year old nephew doesn't. I meant child like faith right.

Or are we looking for proof or justification. I'm right your wrong so haha kinda thing.

We are nothing without Christ and faith must be in the work of the cross and not our knowledge.

There's actually three Ahazaih's in 2 Kings. The other was the son of Joram or Jehoram I can't remember which right now but he had a son named Ahaziah also.
Nope that was mistake.... I confused Ahaziah with Azariah.

2Ch 21:2 And he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.

So without FAITH it is impossible to please him? Faith is SUBSTANCE, so now you try to get him after the flesh when it is yourself who should start in faith so that one day MAYBE you may have his grace.

Faith is the words, the substance of the bible, what you see.

Re: The Authorized Geneva Bible vs that Modernist KJV, unauthorized!

Now you are getting really confusing.

At least the KJV ONLY cultists don't vacillate.

The Apocrypha was in the KJV for 274 years, until 1885. Your KJV of 1765 still had the Apocrypha in it. If many knew the Apocrypha was not the Word of God, then they knew the KJV was not perfect. Right?

And now you say the Latin Vulgate was perfect until the KJV, but it is no longer perfect? The Vulgate didn't really change. What caused it to go from perfect to imperfect? Merely the existence of the KJV?
There are two Latin Vulgates. One is from the corrupted church of Rome. The other is not.
As for many 1611 KJV Proponents believing the 1611 Bible is perfect:
I disagree with a lot of their conclusions on the KJV. I believe you can read Modern Versions. I believe it is not always easier to read the KJV; Especially in the Old Testament. For truth is not determined by popular vote.

Every detail in the Old Testament speaks of Jesus Christ. In fact many truths in the Old help us to understand the New Testament better.

Actually Jesus Christ is not mentioned even once in the old testament. You think all the obscure words hint at Jesus Christ being there when actually is it the Holy Spirit of God, which Jesus had and now we are all capable of coming to know.

Did anybody happen to catch the name of this thread? [h=2]King James authorized bible vs the rest of other bibles[/h]This thread is not about how one gets saved... it compares the KJV to the rest of the bibles. People post so called errors in the KJV and we show scripture to prove them wrong.:)

1Co 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Co 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

You know what Jag, if we would all just believe what the bible says there would be no arguing.:)
There's only one way for believers to be in one accord... trust the book and let it say what it says.

I'm not trying to derail the thread, but trying impose the cross of Christ in a Christian forum. KJV1611 you know my stance on The KJV and IDK if you read other versions just check it back to the KJ.

Also, I will add what difference doe's it make about all these things. It's all about the cross, every word of it.

Guess y'all caught me on a bad day. But think for a minute, what difference does it make if I know what Ahaz, Ahab, Uzziah, David, Solomon, Jacob, Saul, Joab, Moab, Edom, Esau, Lot, Bildad the Shuhite (smallest man in the bible) did. What doe's it do for me and how will affect me. The only thing I find in the bible that affects me is the cross and nothing else.

Did Paul preach Jeroboam to the Romans, Ephesians, Corinthians, Philippians, Collossians . No He did not, reckon why?

They didn't read the bible, they had no bible. Just saying get a grip.

Yes exactly Jesus came after them.... in the New testament. You know Adam all the way through the old testament God challenged certain people to similar bouts as Jesus went through. There were many Christ like men in the old testament but none of them were called JESUS.

In the Old Testament, there are Messianic prophecies, Typifications of Christ (In the story of Joseph alone there are hundreds), and Pre-incarnate appearances would suggest otherwise.
