Jesus died for ALL your sins but the mercy is only available if you forsake those sins and thus stop doing them.
I prefer to believe Jesus John 6.39; 10.27-29; If necessary He chastens me (Heb 12). But He says, 'I will NEVER leave you or forsake you'

Pro 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

It is really that simple.
If you think it is simple you must have a very low view of sin.

If you confess your sin and forsake your sin then there is mercy available. If you won't do that then you will die in your sins and it matters not as to how deluded you are in regards to Jesus "paying off your sin debt."
I thank God YOU are not my Father. I am reconciled to God by the death of His Son, and saved by His ife. That is enough for me.

Looks like it is time for "scripture" again in the area of righteousness. Why do people fight so much against the work of Christ and instead live by their own humanistic works-righteousness thoughts? Why don't we believe in Christ's work? Why are we continually denying Him?

I can give you guys what the scriptures say about righteousness and believers that are "in Christ" now and that Christ Himself is in us. Everyone can believe what they want too
.

The understanding of the new creation in Christ and the new identity of the believer is paramount to living the true Christian life.

Here it says our spirit ( the inner person that is a new creation in Christ ) is alive because of righteousness that it is it.

Romans 8:10 (NASB)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin,yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Here righteousness is a gift - you don't earn it.

Romans 5:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

We have grace reigning in our lives because of righteousness in us.

Romans 5:21 (KJV)
[SUP]21[/SUP] That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Here righteousness comes by faith in Christ's work - not our own.

Romans 9:30 (KJV)
[SUP]30 [/SUP] What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

Here when we believe - we are righteousness.

Romans 10:10 (KJV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We are in the kingdom of God which consists of righteousness.

Romans 14:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17[/SUP] For the kingdom of God ( Jesus said that the kingdom of God is within you..He might know a thing or two ) is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Here it says that God made us righteousness in Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV)
[SUP]30 [/SUP] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

This says we have become the righteousness of Christ ( this is called a dependent clause in the greek - it is determined as fulfilled because Christ became sin )

2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Believers are called righteousness because Christ is in them.

2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Here it is saying that "righteousness comes by Christ" - not by what we do or don't do with our own self-works at being righteous.

Galatians 2:21 (NASB)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] "I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."

Here we have the breastplate of righteousness - which is the armor of God that we are to be strong in.

Ephesians 6:14 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, andhaving on the breastplate of righteousness;

This talks about the new man in Christ - the new creation which has been created in God's righteousness.

Ephesians 4:24 (NASB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Ok..that's enough..there are tons more....
a quick answer to your why questions- PRIDE. I heard a pastor say one time that pride is one of the worst sins people can be caught in because most people that are full of it are not even aware that they have it.

they convince themselves they are doing right, doing good, have it all under control, ...... but in reality, it is just prideful bragging.

Grace...notice his tap dance all around the subject and his qualifying and quantifying of sin.....he cannot answer truthfully...to say yes which is the truth would undermine his sinless perfectionist farce.....

John was clear...he used WE, WE, WE, and US to describe sin in the present tense in ALL believers.....

Those who say they have no sin are

a. DECEIVED
b. HAVE NO TRUTH IN THEM
We have all put out enough scripture to reveal this false sinless perfection in the flesh doctrine that some try to push on Christians. The truth is - they have a kernal of truth but they mis-apply it and really don't understand the new creation in Christ - nor do they understand the holiness of God nor the work of Christ.

Thus there need to deceive people into believing that they are sinless. They must say that they are sinless because in their religion - they would be a child of the devil and would not be of God.

I'll leave it at that and the Holy Spirit will speak to the hearts of the readers so that they don't fall for this false doctrine that will ship-wreck their lives.

There are deeds of righteousness but they come from already being righteous because of Christ's work and blood being shed. Get this wrong and we create our own religion of D.I.Y self-righteousness works-based religion that actually nullifies the very grace of God needed to live godly by His life in this earth.

We say preach and teach the love and grace of God in Christ's finished work on the cross and the sins of the flesh will fall off like dead leaves on a tree. I don't fall for the straw-man argument that we say to sin all we want now. We say the complete opposite - that grace teaches how to live godly in this world.

Hey Zone,

So you believe this statement also...

hey skin, do you think it is up to you to determine who is saved and who is not? are you the final judge and authority??

?
so, are you going to address any of the Scripture that grace7 brought up?? or are you going to just use the tactic of attacking the person who said the things instead of addressing what was said??

Paul told the Corinthians that they were the righteousness of God in Christ and he said that to them even though they were being carnal and acting like "mere men".

Christ being our righteousness may conflict with our religious views but that's the way life is in Christ. The gospel of the grace of Christ will always be offensive to the self-righteous mindset that try to maintain and obtain righteousness by what "they do".

Until we really get a revelation of what Christ has done for us and that He is our righteousness - we will be making up man-made doctrines of D/I/Y. self-righteousness/holiness in order to maintain and obtain our own righteousness.

Sinless perfection in the flesh is a works-based doctrine that denies the work of Christ and condemns believers who are learning to walk by faith in Christ's work for them on the cross and resurrection.

There are fruits of righteousness but these are from the righteousness we have in Christ. Paul himself says to awake to righteousness and sin not. 1 Cor. 15:34 Awake to who you are in Christ - a new creation - created in righteousness and holiness. Eph. 4:24

Here is what Paul told those Corinthians that were carnal. He still told them who they really were in Christ. - righteous and holy....saints.

Then he corrects their behavior but he didn't say "you are all unsaved now". As a works-based salvationists would have us to believe and thus this message of Christ's work for us is offensive to them.

1 Corinthians 1:30 (NASB)
[SUP]30 [/SUP] But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

The true gospel of the grace of Christ transforms people from the inside out. The false one is trying to get people to produce fruit by our behavior or good works. True good works and godly behavior is a manifestation of the life of Christ in us.

Real change done by the Holy Spirit within us is in the new heart being manifested - love, joy, peace..etc. These are ours even in the midst of circumstances that are screaming at us.

The true grace of the gospel of Christ teaches us how to live godly in this present world. We can trust the Holy Spirit within us to release His fruit in us so that others can see Christ in us.

The true Christian life is by grace through faith in Christ's work alone from start to finish.

Personally I am vehemently against all forms of sinning as they all bring destruction of some sort to us while on this earth - especially the one of unbelief in Christ's finished work on the cross.

Here is my view on sin and it's affects on us and on how the Holy Spirit transforms us as we behold the glory ( goodness ) of our Lord as in a mirror. 2 Cor. 3:17-18

Sin changes our perspective on things and causes us to not look at our Father in the right light of who He truly is. ( The same as Adam and Eve did when they hid from Him even though He was still coming to visit with them and He still took care of them )

Sin also affects our ability to have harmonious relationships with others and it also distorts our view of others as well as ourselves. Sin is deceitful.

We chose to live holy lives because we are just being who we truly are in Christ - not to maintain right standing with God. This living good holy lives creates right relationships with people, it will not give our enemy an influence in our lives and it is a good witness to the world.

Your true identity is not defined by your struggles, mistakes, or sinful actions. These are all confined to the flesh and are the works of the flesh as Paul said. Who you are is defined by your new birth in Christ. You are who you are by His grace and life in you!

Behavioral issues are usually the result of trying to live under the law in some form. The law is the strength of sin. The law was brought in so that sin would increase and show that we need a Savior!

Once you understand you are completely accepted and sin free forever in Jesus in your inner man created in righteousness and holiness - and that this is your permanent state for all eternity in Christ - the behavioral issues will fall off of our lives like dead leaves.

The "sap" of His life in and through us transforms us outwardly by the Holy Spirit as we behold the glory ( goodness ) of the Lord Jesus. 2 Cor. 3:17-18

When we walk with the Spirit of God, He directs/advises/guides us.

We see a reduction in the amount of our sin, because our heart is changed.

It comes from a relationship with the Living God. It is a trust relationship.

We trust that what He says He did for us, He did indeed do for us, and we can then feel accepted and loved by our God, that he no longer holds our sin against us.

No more walking on eggshells waiting for the lightning bolt to strike us at any moment.

We get to walk with Him, He has restored His life to us! It is a matter of the heart, a matter of the spirit, not the flesh. The Law always dealt with the flesh, the New Covenant is for our Spirit and deals our true motivations. Hallelujah for that!!

I think this reply brings to the surface something that may also be misunderstood.

What Christ said in Matthew 18 wasn't a poetic way of Christ saying God forgives "as many times as it takes", but was showing the great mercy and long suffering of God has. Christ said 70 x 7 (or 490 times) is the number of times forgiveness should be offered because it's the same exact time God gave the children of Israel to "put an end to sin" in Daniel 9:24.

Now we know that after that time-frame ran out (upon Israel's rejection of Christ in the last week of that prophecy) that judgment indeed fell on Israel. No more forgiveness was offered.

We know that God is the same.

9:24 is a testimony of what would happen prior to the Messiah establishment of the New Covenant as written in 9:25 "until Messiah the Prince", it then goes on to speak of a rebuild and a confirmation of a covenant that brings an end to sacrifice and offering. So I think if you are referring 9:24 as Gods forgiveness coming to an end, during/under the New Covenant, you may be mistaken.
As Christ was referencing the current state of forgiveness under the Law at the time He spoke in Matthew 18.

What I've notice is whenever someone speaks of working to achieve perfection of heart in this flesh so as to eventually no longer sin (i.e. achieve righteousness) they're accused of "works-based" salvation or "sinless perfectionism", which prompts them being called a liar for claiming they're saying they currently have no sin [even though the very idea of "working to achieve" the goal presupposes they're admitting to still sinning for now]. They're claimed to be in error for working towards the goal as if obeying God's commandments is "man-made religiosity".

I've realized that there's really no way of arguing against this claim because it creates the perfect paradox where one can do nothing about their sin condition: "You're helpless to sin from birth...you're powerless to stop sinning...you deny Christ if you try to stop sinning. Just believe and you're covered with Christ's righteous; seen as sinless to God though still sinful in the flesh."

From reading and arguing I've realize that the problem is we're not coming from the same foundation and so we're speaking two different languages when it come to reading the gospels and Paul's words. We don't completely understand God's law or rituals to know what Christ actually did or why he fought with the religious leaders of his time. And because of that ignorance a different narrative and reason for it all has been injected into everything Christ did for us.

But unfortunately, any attempt to understand God's law fully get's one slammed with another label: Legalistic, which in any other setting would sounds like a positive label. But in the context of God strangely enough it's a negative because it's associated with following the same religious leaders Christ fought against.

It's just a mess.

----

The pharisees never taught God's law.

The pharisees never taught God's law.

The pharisees never taught God's law but taught their own "man-made" religious traditions (that perverted God's law) AS IF THEY WERE GOD'S LAW, that's why Christ fought with them constantly. Christ *never* rejected God's law but promoted it constantly.

Again, what the pharisees taught wasn't adherence to God's law, but taught their OWN established rules and regulations that REPLACED God's law, meanwhile Christ taught obedience to God's law over the pharisees' traditions constantly.

Without understanding this fundamental issue we can't understand the purpose of Christ and the Cross, Paul's words or the mission of God for us here & now as it pertains to righteousness.

Matthew 5:18-20
18 For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven

Matthew 5:18-20 (point - by - point for emphasis)

- "I, Christ himself, am telling you this truth. This is not a lie. I don't lie.

- Until this heaven and earth disappears...

(and as of 2017 heaven and earth are still still here)

- Not one letter of God's law disappears until EVERYTHING in it is accomplished

(and as of 2017 not all of it has been accomplished yet so not one letter has disappeared)

- Therefore. Thus. Consequently...

- Whoever breaks just one of God's law and also teaches others to break them...

- They will be called "least" in my kingdom to come.

- Whoever practices God's law and also teaches others to also practice them...

- They will be called "great" in my kingdom to come.

- Look, I'm telling you that...

- Unless **YOUR** RIGHTEOUSNESS surpasses the scribes and pharisees...

- You will NEVER enter my kingdom to come."

Christ is the foundation; the root of the tree. So anything and everything else taught MUST FIRST harmonize with his teachings FIRST before it's accepted as doctrine, not the other way around. We can't pass this teaching off as "before the cross" because Christ gave specific parameters for this truth being maintained: heaven & earth passing away; all the law being fulfilled; his end-time kingdom of heaven to come.

I see the sinful perfectionists are in full force today...always arguing in favor of sin, no? Praise God the truth is being revealed to those who have ears to hear and are seeking God in Spirit and Truth, praise God!

The Bible says that a Spirit led life can abstain from sin,for the person has made the decision that they do not want to sin,and means it,that they honestly hate sin,and want nothing to do with it,and God will not allow them to be tempted above measure, and will give them an escape from the temptation, and the Spirit will lead them to do good, but it is because they honestly do not want to sin,and mean it.

That is what the Bible says, that we can abstain from sin if we honestly do not want sin,and it is not that we cannot abstain from sin,but we want to sin.

But people that believe we cannot abstain from sin, when people point out we can abstain from sin, which the Bible says we can abstain from sin,are actually saying that they do not believe the person that says we can abstain from sin is telling the truth, but they have sin,but are acting as if they do not, which is only an accusation to say that we cannot abstain from sin,for whatever reason that they do not want to believe we cannot abstain from sin.

Some people do not want to believe we can abstain from sin,for whatever reason they have, which some because they actually want to sin,but have an excuse, and some because it is a no pressure lifestyle, and one does not have to try too hard in their walk with Christ.

But we can abstain from sin,for God said we can abstain from sin,and ole' atheist Johnny from the world has never cheated on his wife, never drank alcohol, and never did drugs, hated gambling and never gambled, but how did he beat those sins if we cannot abstain from sin,for the world will choose what sins they like, and what sins they do not like. How does the world abstain from sin,for if the world could not abstain from sins, the world would of devoured each other, but we see the world can even abstain from sin if they want.

Nobody will be able to appear genuine that they abstain from sin among people that believe we cannot abstain from sin,for they will not believe them, but I believe that whether a person believes we can or cannot, that those that believe we can abstain from sin might do sins that are very minor, but they believe they are wrong, and have to give them up to be right with God,where those that believe we cannot abstain from sin will do sins of a higher degree, for the most part in comparison to the others, but still not too bad for they have a love for Christ, but they do not believe they affect their relationship with Christ.

Because whether we believe we can abstain from sin,or believe we cannot abstain from sin,OSAS,we might take advantage of God's grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love, knowing that He will forgive our sin,but some believe it affects their relationship with God,and will do the sin,and then get rid of it for the most part, and some that believe they cannot abstain from sin,and will hold unto a sin and not give it up,because they believe it does not affect their relationship with Christ.

So the ones that believe we can abstain from sin, although they might sin,are still in a better position than those that believe we cannot abstain from sin, overall, and you can also see the results among people that go to a Church that preaches holiness, and abstain from sin, compared to a Church that believes we cannot abstain from sin,for overall the ones that go to Church that preaches holiness has a better success rate of separating themselves from the world, and not wanting to sin.

So those that believe we can abstain from sin among the people that claim Christ show outwardly a better Christlike lifestyle than the other, which outward examination will tell you that, and that is what I see.

So how can people that are more Christlike be in the wrong to people who are not as Christlike, not separating themselves from the world as well as the others.

It does not make sense, for they will say abstain from sin,and act Christlike representing goodness, and people will say you are wrong, that believe we cannot abstain from sin.

Something is amiss when the people they say are in the wrong are acting more like Christ representing goodness than them overall.

The sinful perfectionists crowd understand the text in a clouded haze in that it is to sooth and appease the lustful desires, as they said to Jeremiah in his day, (dont tell us the truth but tell us smooth things) thus searing the conscience with the hot iron of lust...anything else is completely foreign to them because they love not the truth....And truth has never been a driving force in the world...Somehow they mysteriously perceive that strength in numbers substantiates truth. Didn't work in Noah's day, and neither will it work today or tomorrow..

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom..

The wisdom of Solomon saith the whole conclusion of the matter

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

There was a big back and forth in previous years on here about these topics and ultimately what one could've concluded by reading each post was that both parties wanted the same goal but only had different methods to its attainment. Both wanted to walk in victory over sin, but each disagreed on how to achieve that, especially in practicality. They differed on how sanctification occurs and our role in it.

One issue is that people feel that some are excusing sin because of God's grace, and that "so long as you are in Christ, its all good." "Its the flesh, you're still righteous." That is their interpretation of what is being said, but is incorrect. Sin is not being excused because Jesus paid its price on the cross. He died, and resurrected. So no sin is being excused rather its been taken away, Christ being the propitiation.

Back to the point, no one is excusing sin, but they are emphasizing the gift of no condemnation in Christ due to the reconciliation that He has brought to us through His flesh (the veil). Sin cannot separate us from God because Jesus has torn the veil, and that is to say, He has taken care of what alienated us from God in the first place. Sin. To put that wall back up because of sin would be in ignorance to what Jesus, the Son of God, accomplished through His suffering.

Now, both parties wish to walk in holiness. To walk as a righteous people, zealous of good works. Unfortunately there are minute details that they differ on that have major differences in application. One wishes to uphold the Law, lifting it before the eyes of the people and pointing out faults in order for the congregants to do better. The other upholds Christ, and who we are in Him, by the Holy Spirit. Born again, made a new creation who serve in the newness of the spirit and not the oldness of the letter. Dead to sin and alive unto God.

Both positions seek purity. Yet, the Law is not able to make us righteous in and of itself. If it could do so, we wouldn't need Jesus. We wouldn't need to have righteousness be reckoned to us by faith. We'd simply just do the Law and be justified before God. However, it was simply our school master leading us to Christ, revealing our necessity for a savior. The Savior, Jesus Christ. It is holy, just and good (the Law), yet incapable of transforming us into those very things.

So what is able to purify and sanctify us? God. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. It is the Lord that sanctifies us, and we as willing vessels have submitted ourselves to that process as we are His children whom He chastises and leads in righteousness. Not only that in terms of progressive sanctification, but also in that of our rebirth, being made new creations who love righteousness. We, being dead to sin, are crucified with Christ and just as we partook in His death so have we in His resurrection unto righteousness. No longer are we slaves of sin, but righteousness. As scripture says, "Sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace."

Our righteousness is imputed in judicial standing with God, we are justified in Jesus Christ through His resurrection, by the shedding of His blood. We are saved by grace through faith. Our practical holiness, if you will, is brought about through a revelation of who we have been made to be, who we are, and as the Lord sanctifies us through His process of sanctification. Morality doesn't sanctify, God does. It is the Lord that sets us free. It is the Lord that gives us liberty.

Sin and righteousness cannot be transferred anyway, they are moral concepts.

Jesus bearing our sins is FIGURATIVE not literal.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travailof his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall myrighteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Jesus bore our sins in the same way that the scapegoat bore sin.

Lev 16:21 And Aaron shall lay both hishands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all theiniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions inall their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shallsend him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
Lev 16:22 And the goat shall bearupon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: andhe shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

The goat did not literally receive a transfer of sin. The idea is figurative in being granted a fresh start before God, thus the people would put their past behind them and move on with the future. It is the same with Jesus, he "bore our iniquities" that we may "live unto righteousness."

1Pe_2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

A sinner puts their old man on Jesus and DIED WITH HIM. Jesus didn't literally become guilty of our sins and was punished for them, that is foolishness. The Bible doesn't say that. Jesus was a lamb without spot and thus an acceptable "sin offering" to God.

We are justified BY HIS KNOWLEDGE because through the dynamic of the cross the knowledge of God is implanted in our souls.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

2Pe 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Salvation is through KNOWING JESUS whereby we KNOW THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.

Joh_8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Joh_14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
You exclaim that sin and righteousness cannot be transferred, but God through our faith reckons us righteous by believing in His Son. If its not our own righteousness, then who's is it? Is it just imaginary? Is God in denial to our deeds? No, Jesus paid their penalty on our behalf and He justified us through His resurrection.

Romans 3:21-26 King James Version (KJV)

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Notice that we are declared righteous, not of ourselves but it is the righteousness of God. He imputes this righteousness to us who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith. So this righteousness is given, imputed, to us and it is not ours but God's. A righteousness that is of faith, not deed. As verse 24 so aptly states, "being justified freely by His grace...", pointing to His goodness and the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Our standing before God, our justification, is one that is imputed, given, to us through faith and by God.

PS: I could've saved a bunch of time and not typed this by simply pointing to Adam to refute your point on sin not being transferable.

Romans 5:12-21 King James Version (KJV)

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
