science is a "faith" that you can change around, make new " discoveries" and change everything you believe every 4-6 months. ( keep up and remember what " experts" said 2 years ago, 5 years ago, whatever, and see how it turned out). easy to buy into a system that is wide-open. having a faith in the un-changing God. a bit tougher for many.

Evolution doesn't teach that monkey became humans.

Just because you believe in the Bible doesn't mean you have to misrepresent science.

True science looks in awe of nature and God's creation and tries to explain God's established laws for the world.

We see natural selection happen all the time. God made us will genetic codes that are not expressed except when the world changes and forces those change in the population.

The Bible says that God made the birds of the air and all men and animals were vegetarian. However we evolved to be able to eat meat after Noah and the flood.

How do you think we have such a diverse assortment of animals from the ark?

Natural selection and divergent evolution explains how hundreds of species can come from an original small group.

Animals find niches to fill so they dont have to compete for the same food...different beak sizes, feet, etc. Like Darwin finches.

Humanity likes to divide and put animals and people in separate categories. It doesn't mean God is not limited to those lines....there is no jew or greek, no slave or free in Christ.

In the same way we may say their is a new species of fruit flies when they are no longer able to mate with the mainland fruit flies but the Bible will just refer to them as flies be they fruit or horse flies.

Still makes me laugh how people has come to this theory of people born from monkeys, God said lets make man in our image, It would sound funny if he has said let make monkeys in our image. Perhaps we can lean towards in some belief of humans born from monkeys, Fair enough, there bone structure and some manor isms, and brain activity are very similar, But seriously people, come on! I think these people has been watching planet of the apes to much and gone to there heads a little. LOl Next movie out, is called planet of the people, Directed By Ceaser The chimp, LOL

Those common ancestors being what? monkeys ..right?
Current evolutionary theory claims that the "homo" genus (our branch of the evolutionary tree that blossomed into humans or "homo sapiens") shares a common ancestor with the "pan" genus (i.e. chimps), and not with monkeys. Monkeys allegedly split from the "pan" lineage after the "homo" split. There are hundreds of living species and genus of monkey, and none of them (past or present) are considered part of homo sapien direct lineage.

Evolutionary theory claims that we share common ancestors with all living things, even micro-organisms, bacteria, etc, NOT that we evolved from them. Regardless of the validity of the theory: this "people from monkeys" nonsense is a common misrepresentation of it, and burning straw-men while remaining willfully ignorant of the actual claims evolutionary theory makes seems like a waste of time.

1 Corinthians: 15. 39. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one [flesh] of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.
40. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial is another.
41. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43. it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44. it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual [body].

:smoke: hope there will no monkey
business in here

 for there so many outside who own their living just like that
and build a kingdon of animalia as the zoo instead of
a kingdom of god of truth
:read:
John: 14. 17. [even] the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.

God bless us all always

Youre questions about evolution are about as intelligent as atheists questions like if God is good why is there evil
I respectfully disagree. Mitspa asked a simple, yet very profound question -- one worth examining.

you know, it has always kind of fascinated us that we are definitely very closely related to the
monkeys and gorillas and ETC., dna wise - actually it is a kind of like a bonding and relations to all
of the other species which God has created - we find comfort in our commonalities, knowing that
it is ONE CREATOR....

friend after you remove the terms designed to cover-up how stupid this theory is ..you still have people evolving from monkeys ..what do you think terms like "ancestor" and branch means? So this pan genus ..monkey like animal evolved into a monkey... do you here how silly that is... and monkey with one named evolved into a monkey with another name while at the same time it evolved into a human being? Are you really so dumb you believe that?

Im not closely related to any monkeys or Apes ..thats another term these fake scientist used to propagate their lie. if you use the term similar in some ways...I would agree God made lots of things in a similar way.

You misrepresent evolution if you think it is science.

God created man and then out of the man He created woman. He did not create some a monkey, fish, beaver lizard man that then morphed into a man 36 bazillion years later.

It was 2 years after 36 bazillion. Get your facts straight.

I don't believe in evolution but Im sure there are some people who become monkeys!
At least you would think so judging by the way they behave. :)

Been looking on how some evolutionist see the monkey deal and basically they claim that monkeys did evolve and really they are more evolved than mankind...even though they are exactly the same as they was .... They evolved somehow but they didn't really change? Wow...people who hate God are so stupid.

Right... whats the joke? He made man and then thought and said "I CAN DO BETTER" and then made a woman... :)

In my opinion there are more holes in the theory of evolution than in my sieve.

Personally I would expect to share a considerable amount of DNA with every living thing if it is the basic building block of life. Come to that I share 50% of my DNA with a cabbage does that mean that I have a common ancestor with the cabbage growing in my garden. The more similar the animals are the more similar the DNA is going to be. If we both have DNA encoding for a particular enzyme which is found in two distinct animals then that DNA is going to be the same.

I don't think there is enough evidence to be able to say we have a common ancestor with chimps and that our evolution then branched from their.

But as others have said it is a faith and it enables people to avoid having to face the reality of God.
