When someone posts in a Christian forum, in a thread about protests against Muslims, that Jesus in the Qur'an still retains his status as God almighty, etc... as Christians we're compelled to correct falsehood. It doesn't serve the truth of our Lord to let false faiths be misrepresented as pertains to their own teachings.
Your Christian ignorance is just as bad as their Islamic ignorance...

I'm looking to see if it's legal to post from this source, so I think it would be fair for the sake of people seeing how commentaries and various translations can differ much. Click on https://archive.org/stream/QuranAJArberry/Quran-A%20J%20Arberry#page/n273/mode/2up and read those suras (39.1-10) translated by Arberry. There's too much Muslim bias in that reference in post #16, which adds way too much to the actual ancient text by way of commentary. There are more resources hosted by Muslims than by others, especially out of Saudi Arabia, attempting to convince Christains that Islam and Christianity are like brothers under the same god. That isn't true at all.

Getting back to the campus melee, I don't recall the apostles trying to instigate a confrontation. They would preach the crucified and risen Jesus and that in itself would agitate hearts. I'm not sure if I even heard the gospel proclaimed in that clip.

Is this another version of Westborough Baptist?

Sura 6:101 [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.

Oh, it ends. How a Christian ends falsehoods about Islam is very simple. They know falsehoods that try to compare Islam to Christianity and they speak up.
Like when some say Islam's allah is the same God as that of the Christians. That's not true. And no Christian should ever stand mute when someone claims it is.

Sura 6:101 [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.

بديع السموت والأرض أنى يكون له ولد ولم تكن

له صحبة وخلق كل شيء وهو بكل شيء عليم

BadeeAAu alssamawati waal-ardi anna yakoonu lahu waladun walam takun lahu sahibatun wakhalaqa kulla shay-in wahuwa bikulli shay-in AAaleemun

6.101 Originator (of) the heavens and the earth, that He has certainly been his Son, and certainly not to be his companion, and He created every thing that He will, and He on account of every thing that he will who knows.

Just as in other Koranic creation ex-nihilo ayahs, the Son, Jesus Christ, is mentioned as being present at the origin of the Universe, confirming that He is God Almighty.

Further, the distinction of Jesus’ deity is confirmed by distancing Himself from just being a “companion” (sahibatun).

I take it this is a habit of his? First time I've encountered him so I ask.

To finish what I'd said about allah having no son, let's see if a Muslim website gets it across.
First we have to remember to those who claim these things about allah that God, which is not allah, did have a son. His name is Jesus. And he was begat by God upon the virgin Mary.

In the Bible Jesus says when the disciples had seen him they hath seen the Father.

Now, let's go back to Islam and what allah says about Isa. (Jesus) This website teaches about this very thing. Isa, is a mere prophet of allah's. Created by him to deliver his word. He is not his son. He was not begat as his son. And he sure wasn't allah incarnate.

(From the site link) (Sic)"...That is why Allah affirmed in many verses of the Qur’an that Jesus is a slave of Allah, whom He molded in the womb of his mother like any other of His creatures, and that He created him without a father, as He created Adam without a father or a mother. Almighty Allah had chosen Isa to be one of his messengers to humanity."

I consider the source and hold you in prayer.

If you considered the source, then you would see that I am correct...but....you can't be bothered....your mind is officially hardened and closed...

Wherever discussion regarding the Koran is taking place, then yes, I will be there to set the record straight....and from the looks of it, Christians are just as biased as Muslims are on the topic...and none of them can show exegetical evidence for their polemics...

Referencing an Islamic website for the Truth about Jesus is just as lame as going to a Jehovah Witness website for the Truth of Jesus....

The discussion is Muslim and 'Christian ' behavior on campus and the more I think of the video the more I'm convinced it was a terrible witness on the part of the so called Christians.

I think that the crowd reaction was the same, though, yes...?

They did push the envelope...I mean....having the moniker 'cut on the dotted line' on the neckline of his T-shirt was really provoking things...

They could have done a better job for sure.....but I believe that they were looking for the shock factor....that is the only thing news worthy these days or so it seems...

God hates homos banners. Chewing pages out of the Koran. Cut along the dotted line shirts.

This all seems very reasonable.

When Muslims at a teaching website tell you you are wrong and your polemic insists those Muslims are wrong, it is you who is hardened and closed.

If you think you're going to be there when people speak of Islam you'd best come knowing something about Islam. Otherwise, you're a punchline for promoting lies in the name of Islam.

In Muslim countries that'll get you killed.

Don't go to those places. Their polemics arrive with a sword behind their disputation toward infidels who lie about Islam.
And when you don't know the Qur'an because you've never read it in Arabic, which is the only way it is to be understood, and instead cut and paste pecked sura you think support your "knowledge" , you fail!

You have no knowledge of Islam's Qur'an. You don't even know the basics as is proven here repeatedly. And by Muslim websites.
What you're doing is teaching heresy! And I would pray that is quite against the rules here. When you try to equate Islam's false god with Jesus, and claim allah's son was our Jesus, that's heresy. And brother, that's not even what Islam teaches!

So maybe your point is to assault Christianity using Islam as a weapon. That's not unique either. This is a one dimensional chat board so unlike Muslim terrorists who do that with physical violence you appear to be engaged with verbal assault.

You still fail. Instead of being invested in Islamic Da‘wah, surrender your life to Christ. Because otherwise to those who know Islam you simply look a fool dedicated to heresy against Christianity. And that is a pitiable shame.

I'm going to set you to ignore now if it is possible here. You need prayer not further attention. And certainly you've elected to shun education.
