deception breeds deception.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts righteous character!

What did I say with the meaningless cryptic answers, just say what you mean and deal with the above question I aksed like 5 times but have not had a straight answer.

I have to say, it is unreal to me that ANY believer would justify practicing magic...

Even low level magic is dangerous, what if one of those young ones gets interested into magic by watching a "fellow believer" perform magic tricks. It could lead them down a path that leads directly to the adversary....

We have reached the day where believers think magic is ok... WOW.

Deuteronomy 18:10-14, "Let there not be found among you one who sacrifices his son or his daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, Casts spells, or who consults familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Anyone who practices these is abominable to Yahweh, and because of these abominable practices, Yahweh your Father is driving out the nations in front of you. You must be G4perfect in front of Yahweh your Father. These nations, which you are driving out, now listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, Yahweh your Father has definitely not appointed such things to you."
Magic in any form = Deception
Romans 6:16, "Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as servants to obey, his servants you are whom you obey--whether of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
Magic in any form = Deception

The passage about eating meat sacrificed to idols seems to apply here. The mature know that an idol is nothing, so they bought the cheap meat put out by the pagan temples. To a mature believer, it's just cheap meat. That said, the passage does say that whatever is not from faith is sin. The mature believer understands that ANY money made by ANY business "Could" be used for evil. Are you going to go live as a mountain man living off the land to avoid buying anything from anyone who might use the proceeds to do evil?

Me, I buy the cheap meat. I hire the best workers at the best rates. I am not responsible for how they spend their income.
