MY RESPONSE TO MY "I DO NOT DO" POST

I posted a thread of my "I DO NOT DO'S" and some of the responses accused me of piety!! Not at all. what does it mean to live for Christ ! what in my life is causing me to stray from Gods plan in my life or to hear from God. Alive in Christ
6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,...My I DO NOT DO ..God spoke to me about and its for my benefit and anyone one else that would listen. I see Christians in my life that do love God but will curse, watch shows that are not something that builds your spirit. Jesus gave his life for us! why shouldn't I give up the things that will only lead me or anyone else astray. There is so much in this world that will pull people away from God. What does the word of God say about what are responsibility is to live for Jesus! Once you know that you have sinned and are willing to accept personal responsibility for your sin, you need to follow through on your responsibility. Jesus, our Lord and Savior, gives us the means to turn away from sin and set aside ourselves for God. Accepting personal responsibility for our sins means that we repent and sanctify ourselves before God. We must set ourselves apart from profane or secular use and stand ready for sacred and holy use. so we say we love the lord but still go to the bar or curse. Or see something that someone has and say why don't I have that! now again this is what I see around me !!!, where is the surrender to God. and to encourage a brother or sister is not piety its encouragement, now if someone is convicted by the post. praise God, I am no better than anyone else. I have been a Christian for along time with different walks with God. I love all my brothers and sisters in Christ. It hurts me to see anyone go through problems of any kind. and as Christians we all know the answer to our problems but what are our actions to those problems do we fully trust God or do we try to fix them our way.Do we focus on God or what is around us...that's all I am saying I love you all in Christ! and If any are Offended by my "I do not do" list. praise God..

"I do not do" sounds prideful, arrogant and like a pharisee.

it is better to say "I Do" then to be proud of what you do not do. that does not make you a christian.

of course it doesn't but is about MY walk with God, so if your a Christian! you cant talk about things that can help other Christian talking about my behavior and actions with God is not condemning anyone Its my path not yours! but If conviction will move people?? I will be convicted and have been if I did something not of gods will. God forbid if we cant talk about sin. and help avoid the things that can lead to it.

1. a non believer cant stop sin. so why talk about it, they have no ability. they have ot ocme to God first.
2. Read the gospels. See how it looks to a non believer when you puff yourself up and tell everyone how "righteous" you are.
3. You do not agree it is better to show what you do out of love than what you do not do because of the law? Thats odd!!

if you are not thinking about self. but about doing for others, you will not sin.

so why are you worried about sin? when you do that you are thinking about self. and like paul said, temptation will come, and your in trouble

If you knew me! there is not an ounce of pride in me. I am no better than anyone else, My post is about what I see with my fellow Christians around me directly! now God did place it on my heart to post it. But as Christian we cant talk about sin? that we continue to do? or what stops us from a closer relationship with God ? with having being accused of piety if that is the case than any pastor preacher or anyone else shouldn't say anything because they are talking about our life and our behavior and Gods will

why talk about sin?

Why not talk about who you reached out to today? Who you helped today? Who you showed Gods love to today? Who you spoke to about Christ today? What you are going to do today to put you in a position to serve others.

Now if you were one on one with a brother and sister who has struggles. it is fine to speak of struggles. or tell him your own struggles. But in a room where there are non believers searching for Christ. why would you want to offend them??

How much have you surrendered?Gave away everything and followed like the Apostles?
you live Jesus,people will say "i want/need to be like that"
Jesus Preached,Lived and died.All selflessly,then rose again for our justification.
Christian Grace is not a license to sin,but not a license to condemn also even if you are doing it unaware..
Its showing Mercy,Love,Care etc so that the helpless person(man/woman/boy/girl) in pit can come up.Just do that,the fire will spread to that person from you without even you preaching much..That's how you Live Jesus!

VICTORIES FROM CARNAL AND SPIRITUAL BONDAGE IS NECESSARY,BUT WHEN I OVERCOME MORE I MUST BECOME HUMBLE MORE..when you live it,the people who see you will be forced by themselves to live in a Holy Way.
you will be a terror for them and even your presence will make them repent and turn away from sin..That's the power of God,..Pray more.i am talking from experience and saying this when i have so much to attain..

Folks like eternally-gratefully don't want you to take away their excuse to sin.They don't want to believe the clear word of God. They don't believe being saved is to put off the old man. They think the multitude of verses that tell them to sin no more is meant for someone else. Don't let it bother you. The first thing I thought when I read you original post was "the OSAS crowd ain't gonna like that". And they didn't.

But if your going to try to tell people what I believe. why do you not first find out what I believe. It is obvious you do not understand a thing about what I believe.

EG believes that one must be saved BEFORE he can stop sin. He believes you do not get a person saved by showing everyone how righteous and deserving you are (which would be a lie) but to show them what Christ did to save them. You do not get anyone saved by showing them every little sin they commit. All you have to do is get them to admit they are a sinner.

I am sorry you believe you can be righteous, and fulfill the just requirement of the law yourself. thus earning your salvation. But do not tell people EG believes something he does not. For that makes you a liar. (maybe you better repent?? You may lose your salvation if you do not repent for bearing false witness against someone.)

So you believe pride to be the only sin? Perhaps you should study up on the bible a bit more. Maybe start with Proverbs 6:16-19: "These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: [SUP] [/SUP]A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[SUP] [/SUP]An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[SUP] [/SUP]A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

can you stop sinning? Be honest with yourself. can you be perfect. which means 24/7 7 days a week you do not once think of self, and are 100 percent doing unto others??
