No, I believe ALL sin comes from pride. You will not find one sin which is not related, or based on pride. even the first sin of adam and eve came out of pride.

Perhaps you should study up on the bible a bit more. Maybe start with Proverbs 6:16-19: "These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

maybe you should study up on the bible no more. ALL sin is based on pride. (the flesh is pride. )

5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. why do you dishonor God?? Pride
Why do you steel?? Pride
Why do you bear false witness?? Pride
Why do you commit adultry?? Pride
Why do you murder?? Pride

do I need to go any further?

if one is not thinking of self (pride) they would not commit those sins.

No, you went far enough. You didn't come up with scripture. That's all I asked for.

eg, you simply don't understand the word. It isn't that hard. You have to put aside what you have been told and read study and think for yourself.

There are many kinds of sin, pride being only one of them.
Let me help you out: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith"........................"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [SUP] [/SUP]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[SUP] [/SUP]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

If you can't back up doctrine with the bible you better reject it, because it didn't come from God.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

so then you agree with me, that ALL sin comes from pride?

You do understand the "flesh" is anything done for self which is pride??

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

The flesh here is self. Which is pride.

Dude. I have been thinking for myself for the last 20 years (since I stopped listening to men, and started searching scripture for myself)

lol.. Again, You did not prove that pride is not the root of all sin. All those sins you just mentioned are based on pride.

why are you so hard on this? Are you afraid that all sin you commit is not your fault?? Do you want to blame someone else for your sin?
