Too bad nobody applies the TEST for spiritual phonies ... given in 1 John 4:1-3.
.
1 John 4

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

mmm nice scriptures but there is more to the test then that. there is also the good and bad fruit test...

Matthew 7:15-21
New King James Version (NKJV)
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

and Galatians 5 is always a good chapter to have close at hand when testing the spirits of those who wish to be mouth pieces/ messengers from/of God.

True, and in Daniel it say the ''Great Tribulation'' is a means God uses to purify His church.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
No church there in Daniel, looks like you both messed up on that. Try again.

Yep. When Daniel was written the church was just a gleam in God's eye. Nobody else knew. Because of what Christ accomplished, Christianity became available on the day of pentecost, and will end with the rapture. Then God will resume his program with Israel, which Daniel and the gospels DO talk about.

Margaret (or Mary) McDonald (or MacDonald) in Scotland around 1870 ... after having weird visions and dreams.
There's a book about it ... her experiences were totally from Satan.
Ditto for Mohammed's visions from a fake "angel Gabriel".
Ditto for Joseph Smith's whatever from a fake "angel Moroni".
Too bad nobody applies the TEST for spiritual phonies ... given in 1 John 4:1-3.

1 John 4:1 ¶Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.''

I confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

Who do you think is being purified? Surely the ones purified will belong to Gods church?

In the book of James he seems to be saying that a certain amount of tribulation is good for us. It works patience, self control, humility etc... I know in my own life tribulation forced me to realize that I need Jesus. Tribulation forced me to realize that my own ways were not cutting it. Tribulation seems to bring out your true character. The Lord doesn't seem too worried about putting us through tribulation...

God Bless You
In this life we will have tribulation, but as believers that make up the church and body of Christ, the great tribulation coming upon the earth is appointed for Israel and the children of disobedience and not for God's precious possession, for they will be taken out and not have to pass through or be a part of it. We have a silver coin that is stamped by the blood of Christ that says, 'Promised advance token to meet the Lord in the air with all those in Christ, both the living and the dead. Not good for passing through the Great tribulation and collect all rewards at the judgment seat of Christ'. Have you not read this in the scriptures under the promised rules of redemptive grace, as a member of the church body and bride of Christ who has been purchased by the blood of Christ? You better get your promised token, it's not too late.

Your just upset like some others, because the Holy Spirit has witnessed and told you the truth but you don't want to agree with Him, so now the Spirit has become your adversary of the truth because He is unable to guide you into it.

So must have all the prophets been willfully blind, for none were ever able to foresee the church and body of Christ.
No, and are you claiming to be a prophet?

Those that ignore the truth of God's word because their doctrine feels, and sounds better to their flesh are willfully blind.

The word and the Spirit have confirmed with one another that the bible teaches the post trib rapture.

If the spirit that is speaking to you opposes the scripture, then that aint the Spirit of God.

THE CHURCH IS ONE BODY JEW AND GENTILE - THEY ARE NOT SEPARATE.
STOP REBUILDING WHAT JESUS TORE DOWN.

Ephesians 3
The Mystery of the Gospel Revealed
1For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles— 2assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you, 3how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. 4When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. 6This mystery isa that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

7Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power. 8To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, 10so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. 13So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.

Isaiah 42:1
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Matthew 12:18
“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

If I were the ''others'' you were talking about i would step up and tell you not to speak for me. I am not the only true believer out there, but the ''carnal'' (false convert) christians (I use the term in its most liberal since) will not inherit the Kingdom, but as Jesus said, ''only those that do the will of the Father.
DUH.
too bad you don't grasp Romans 8.
there ain't two classes like you mystic eltists teach....poor you.

Romans 8
regenerate vs unregenerate:

7For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you.

The second coming of Christ is post-trib for sure and the church will already be with Christ when that happens, but the rapture comes pre-trib because Christ has prepared and called His church and bride to be caught up and raptured with Him in heaven. That is the goodness of God for His redeemed possession, the bride, who were not called, redeemed or appointed for the great tribulation or God's wrath coming upon the earth. Are you going to take the next step and charge me with having an unclean spirit or being lead by the spirit of antichrist as part of the Beelzebub team?

hi Gramps.
the killing of the saints is for a Purpose.
and those who do it are working their own judgment.

Romans 8:36
As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

this is the norm for Christians historically.
the only reason we haven't been wiped out almost entirely is because SATAN IS BOUND FROM DOING THIS UNTIL THE END.

I'm not.

You are right, the Christian church is made up of former Jews and gentiles.

Yes, it was prophesied that the messiah would do good things for the gentiles, but the mystery, the truth of what we have as members of the church, the body of Christ, was hid in God until He made it known to Paul. We are fellow heirs with Christ. If the greatness of what we have had been known, satan would not have crucified Christ.

1 Cor 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

If the Spirit speaks, why study? Why rightly divide or work at all? Why be a workman, why not
just a good listener?
