the real proven giants have all been about eight or nine feet tall...
ten feet tall seems to be a definite upper limit just from physical anatomical considerations...goliath was very close to that upper limit...there is no evidence of anyone taller...
all of the stuff about fifteen or even thirty foot tall giants is just nonsense from people who don't know the basic rules of anatomy...

what do we do about Goliath and his brother Lahmi?
scripture says he was a GIANT.
spear like a weaver's beam!
then it describes yet another man of great stature (un-named) and he had six digits per hand and foot.
then the spies report....i don't know what to make of it.
but we have ancient carvings and friezes showing six-digit giants across the globe.
so....i dunno.

Polydactyly is common in man....1 in approx 800 kids are born with extra digits.

it seems obvious they would be revered and feared.
possibly even "deified".
the fact they are mentioned in our Bible settles it.
Goliath is actually measured...not just said to be a mighty man of valour or whatever.
he was a BIG GUY.
it's just a question of HOW giants came to be that way.

i know about google translate...i caught someone using it to show off once...they basically translated an english 'their/there' error into hebrew and gave themselves away...
i don't know if google translate does transliteration though...the last time i used it was to translate some stuff from philip schaff's 'history of the christian church'

'eloah' means 'God' and the 'einu' ending makes it first person plural possessive...'our God'

now, i know a lot of cultures just made really BIG stuff.
i'm fine with that.
but these axes can't be swung by an average sized man.
so they were either purely for decoration, or they were used.
also, i have personally been to and inside of the ruins at Knossos, Crete.
Minoans...whichever you like.
the point is, everything is HUGE.
i mean benches and stuff, are just gigantic.
whoever actually lived there or whatever they did, there were giants there. no question.
unless - you had ordinary sized men making these temples with all the trappings for imaginary gigantic men ("gods").
that's possible....dunno.
but i mean look at egypt as well. evidence of giant living quarters!
maybe it was all service to fake deities....i do not know.

When God created man he was created perfect and able to eat of the tree of life. After sin entered into the world then man has decreased in both age and stature. Look at the ages people lived after the flood it decreased. That is why before they were very tall, it was not the product of angels and humans mating but the result of creation. Man was created a little lower than the angels.
God would have shown Moses in vision all of that, that is where he got the info from, and when Moses seen the people in vision they looked like giants. Read the Bible man has decreased.
