That is why it is to be taken away. All through our history, it was MEN moved by the Holy Spirit who spoke and acted for God.

Please discern the season. Our government is shut down! They may at best have only a few bandages left.

When it happens, men like me will guide the people into learning how to work for one another out if love and not a pay check.

whaaaaaaaaaa????? "Men like me will guide the people???"

Have you just appointed yourself the next whatever?

and, not for nothing, but your business model sounds vaguely similar to the concepts put forth by Stalin and Mao.......

Because of the love we give money, most starve! 18 million homes empty, 3 million homeless, and the only thing keeping them from those houses is our love of money.

It is God's will that the world have an economic colapse. Only then will people listen.
Did God tell you this personally? Seriously?

I don't think mammon is the only problem, is it?
Mammon, or money as it is being referred to in this thread, is neither "good" or "bad." "Good" people use mammon/money to accomplish "good" works............."Bad" people use mammon/money to accomplish "bad" works........pretty simple actually.

No great "revelation" necessary..............

I don't believe you know what either of those men did in their lives. I believe you like any other who draws these types of conclusions have no idea of what communism is and are blindly associating what I say to it out of fear of what you do not understand.

It's ok to not understand. Ask questions. But please do not compare it to anything that has come before it.

Oh, I think I have quite a good understanding of what Stalin and Mao did with their lives.........History records well their deeds. And while it may be just me, I fear you are giving yourself "credit" as being appointed by God to lead mankind into the future of the World and it's social structure. Now, if you have evidence that you have been appointed by God to do such, well, then, that would be different.......just saying.

Yes. As He has told you as well. You read about it and are witness to it as it unfolds before your very eyes.
Well, hate to burst your bubble, but neither God, nor the Holy Spirit has told me that it is God's will that we have an economic collapse............just saying. How exactly did God inform you of this?

Now, maybe He did tell you...........dunno, but I can assure you that He has not told me that it is His will that this happens.

In matters of discussion such as this, I like to turn to Scripture:

2nd Chronicles 7:14) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

1 Timothy
2

1 .) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 .) For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 .) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 .) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 .) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 .) Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7 .) Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not, a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
8 .) I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

A leader is one who serves. But while this mountain (economic system) stands, my words fall on death ears. So if the faith of a mustard seed can move mountains, then may my prayer come true.

I certainly agree that a "leader" is one who serves. It is just as true that a "follower" is one who serves. Not for nothing but, what I am trying to relate is that "I will follow NO MAN......." I FOLLOW GOD.

I believe God, through the Holy Spirit, guides His people. Not man.......but, now, that may be just me.

You praying for an economic collapse is not God telling you it's His Will........it's you praying for it to happen, that makes it your will does it not?

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.2*And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.3*For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.4*And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.5*For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.6*Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.7*How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.8*Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.9*And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,10*Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.11*And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:12*The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,13*And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.14*And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.15*The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,16*And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!17*For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,18*And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!19*And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.20*Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.21*And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.22*And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;23*And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.24*And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.QUOTE=p_rehbein;1233059]I certainly agree that a "leader" is one who serves. Ok, now you are going into Revelation/end times to support your argument that it's God's will that the US suffer an economic collapse............geezzzeee......I'm tempted to just forget this discussion.......c'mon brother........

WILL OUR ECONOMY COLLAPSE at the END OF TIME? WELL,,,,,,YEAH! As will all other earthly institutions, societies.......seriously, that is a stretch to use end times to support the argument you posed in the OP.

Let's focus on your argument about it being God's will that we suffer an economic collapse, ok?

FIRST: Should the US suffer an economic collapse, what do you suppose the result of that would be? Let me clue you in........

CAHOS! Complete chaos would rule the day.........and, as much as you might wish to step in and become the leader who will save the people, it will never happen.............for chaos will rule the day.

SECOND: God is NOT the Author of confusion...........What do you suppose chaos is? CONFUSION! Rampant, run amok, pure, unadulterated CONFUSION.

Man will never destroy the world.............that little act has been reserved by God for Him.

Just saying...........

[edited to add]

If being a Christian doesn't mean anything.............well, NOTHING MEANS ANYTHING, and you desiring to be the leader who saves mankind, what good would that do? Being a Christian MEANS EVERYTHING........but, now, that may just be me.........so.......

It is not the money...

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

It is the violation of the tenth Commandment that is the problem.

What good is a christian when he is laying next to a muslim in the grave?

Now if 18 million homes are empty and only 3 million homeless, how can you defend a system built to do this very thing?

If you don't know the answer to your first question/statement here......seriously, maybe you should be spending more time in earnest prayer, and studying His Word........and come to some conclusion of "what good is a Christian"

As for the second part, don't think I'm "defending" anything......and don't see any real point to your comments.......other than to proclaim money is evil, Christians are worthless, and such as that......

anyway, since none of this makes any sense, I'll leave you to it...........and God bless ya........READ HIS WORD!

I find it disturbing that I'm called an "idiot" and "not sane" simply for bringing a voice to the fact that 30,000 children die EVERYDAY from hunger because WE LOVE MONEY MORE THAN GOD'S PEOPLE!

People are begging for food in front of stores filled with food!

Be honest with yourselves......
