Just the sound of it scares me..lol.. And mine is hereditary, my entire family has bad backs, all around bad bones in general.. Mine has gotten alot better in recent months, due to a few rounds of physical therapy, and exercises that I do at home.. :) Now if only I could rid myself of the aches and pains that comes with being 47,000 years old.. ;) :p

To Truth, Stones and Blue, as I have posted elsewhere, spinal decompression helps with disc problems. The big machines work, but we are charged about $250.00 per session and at least 10 sessions are suggested for relief and real bad problems require 30 sessions. When I went for mine the machines pulled me apart at 112 lbs pressure and increased 2 lbs every session to end at 130 lbs of traction. I have since found that I can gain relief by lying on my back, jacking my legs up, putting my hands on the top of my thighs down by the crease between body and thighs and pushing my legs away from my shoulders, hard. I increase the pressure slowly for one minute and then release it so as not to cause a radical release. Sometimes I will get a clunk when the spine aligns and other times it just creates more space between the vertebrae to relieve the pressure of the disc gel pushing against the spinal cord. If you decide to do it and are able to do it(arthritis), I hope it helps. Also, if you have weak bones I certainly would not recommend it.

My back is basically fine, now. I just lost control of some muscles and had some bad aches because of the gel pushing against my spinal cord and the spinal decompression took care of it for me.

Hope you don't mind me going off topic.

Asked and answered. Here it is again. Read it this time.

The law is written in the Torah aka Pentatauch aka Genesis thru Deuteronomy!!!

Since Cain and Abel made sacrifices to God they understood they sinned therefore must have understood the Law.
Same reasoning going down to Moses.
The first recorded version of the law was from Moses bringing the 10 Commandments down the mountain from God.
Moses recorded all of the law in his writing of the Torah.
The simple fact is the law existed starting with Adam and Eve!
As Jesus stated the complete law is in existence today and we are under it.
The only question for everyone is has the penalty of their transgressions of the law been removed from them by accepting Christ!!!

Romans 5 says that Adam was not under the law

Romans 5:12-14
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— [SUP]13 [/SUP]for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

Moses did not bring down the 10 God gave them to the people orally.

Exodus 20:1-17

Then God spoke all these words, saying, [SUP]2 [/SUP]“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]“You shall have no other gods before Me.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. [SUP]5 [/SUP]You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, [SUP]6 [/SUP]but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Six days you shall labor and do all your work, [SUP]10 [/SUP]but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. [SUP]11 [/SUP]For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]“You shall not murder.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]“You shall not commit adultery.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]“You shall not steal.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

I think you are sitting under someone who is giving you communicated Bible Knowledge and you never have cracked the Bible open and learned anything for yourself.

It is people who call themselves "Christian" who put themselves under the law. Sometimes they are called Judaizers, or Hebrew roots movement etc, and they are often Sabbatizers, claiming everyone but those who worship like them is breaking the law, for they reject Jesus as their Sabbath rest, embracing the shadow rather than the substance. As to Gentiles (non-believers) and the law, since they are not covered by grace through faith in the righteous shed blood of the spotless Lamb of God, they will be condemned by the law at the resurrection and judgment of all.
Thanks, that is what I thought you were saying.

Mark 7:6-23 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you HYPOCRITES; as it is written: “‘THESE PEOPLE HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, but THEIR HEARTS ARE FAR FROM ME. They worship me IN VAIN, THEIR TEACHINGS ARE JUST RULES TAUGHT BY MEN’ YOU HAVE LET GO OF THE COMMANDS OF GOD and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them, YOU HAVE A FINE WAY OF SETTING ASIDE THE COMMANDS OF GOD in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. Thus YOU NULLIFY THE WORD OF GOD by your tradition that you have handed down. AND YOU DO MANY THINGS LIKE THAT.” Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a man can make him ‘unclean’ by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him ‘unclean.’”
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.”
After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him ‘unclean’? For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”) He went on: “What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean.’ For from within, OUT OF MEN’S HEARTS, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man ‘unclean.’”

I know how you feel. I'm 74 and have one titanium knee and the other one needs to be titanium as well. I was told by some people that I should have both done at once or I wouldn't get the other one done. The surgeon refused to do both. My bad knee will have to get extremely painful before I subject myself to the extreme pain after the surgery. I was given physical therapy for several months. I took codeine for 2 months after the surgery and at first it only took the edge off of the pain. The therapy was torture After 2 months I started getting a buzz from the medication so I switched to non narcotic pain killer. All in all I had decreasing levels of pain for over 6 months. .

I will only go through that if unavoidable. I use a staff to support my bad knee. The pain is easily taken care of by over the counter drugs. I get aches and pains all over my body these days. I am slowly losing mobility and had to stop driving. God has been providing me with the ability to ignore my physical problems and maintain a positive happy attitude. The Footprints in the Sand strikes home for me. Looking back I see times of severe emotional pain it seems like he carried me through it. As a child I came to Christ and without that I wouldn't have been able to carry on.

Thank you God!!!

There's the Edenic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic and dun dun dun the NEW covenant.

Here's a thought.. which, hmm, I should probably create as another thread. Okay, will open a new thread instead. It's about what the new covenant really is.

So some here think that believers are "under the Law"?
And some believe that obedience to the Law brings righteousness?

[SUP]"[/SUP]For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace" Rom 6:14.

"Know that one is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified" Gal 2:16.

And I know, of course, that there are many Scriptures that, at first glance, appear to prove the opposite of those above, but when the Bible appears to contradict itself, the problem is with the readers' understanding, not with the Bible.

Of course, many of us do what we can to obey the Law (not the law), but I think those who do don't do that thinking it will save them -- right?
Amen.....the law proves guilt....end of story...no man can keep every jot ot tittle 24/7/365......break the least commandment 1 (one) time = guilty......

Endoscopy keeps saying Jesus said the law is eternal, but that is not what Jesus said. He said, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." As we should know, Jesus has fulfilled the law. Heaven and earth are still here, but they will not always be as they are, for they are to be destroyed and a new heavens and earth created.
Not to mention the words.....IT IS FINISHED....... ;)

Careful about covenant theology. Going to the extremes it implies God changes His mind. It is a useful tool to look at how God dealt with people in the Bible making agreements with them if they follow His desires for them.

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it has been written, and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day.”[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]There are 2 "it is done" statements...

Fulfilled already
John 19:30, “So when
[/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]יהושע [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]took the sour wine He said, “It is done!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Fulfilled already- To be fulfilled in the future

1. Passover/First-fruits – Yahshua's Sacrifice(Passover), burial and resurrection (First Fruits – presenting Himself to YHWH)
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread – Removal of sin by Yahshua's perfect work as the Passover Sacrifice
3. Feast of Weeks – The blessing Holy Spirit of YHWH, coming into our lives stronger than ever

4. Feast of Trumpets – Yahshua's return and gathering of the Saints
5. Day of Atonement – Yahshua leads the army of YHWH to destroy evil rulers of this world and satan is chained for 1,000 years
6. Feast of Tabernacles – Yahshua dwells on earth for 1,000 years teaching truth and righteousness
7. The Last Great Day – satan is loosed and swiftly destroyed, the Kingdom of YHWH reigns forever

To be fulfilled in the future
Revelation 21:4-8, “And Yah shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away. And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See, I make all matters new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy. And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Strength and he shall be My son. But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”
