It wasn't the dove that caught my attention. It was the sunburst. Google the Catholic sun symbology and see the striking resemblance. I've been told I'm misguided on this but I don't think so. Because of the Catholic use of sun worship symbology I'd stay clear of it. 1Thess. 5:22 'Abstain from all appearance of evil.'
Even the inverted dove is used by some churches and other Christian productions. I think Aleister Crowley utilizes the inverted dove imagery. Trinity Broadcasting Network uses the upside down dove.
Pointing to the wolves on TBN only reinforces my premise that occult symbols face no real resistance by the apostate Church.

I never implied any such idea, but God reveals it in His Word very simply with the "dragon" which is another name for Satan. Our Lord Jesus also revealed it in Matt.24:23-26 with the coming pseudo-Christ, because who would be given enough power of miracles to almost... deceive even Christ's very elect? And Apostle Paul did tell us that Satan transforms (disguise in the Greek) himself as an angel of light (2 Cor.11). And in Rev.17 we're shown the Antichrist coming as a king and ascends out of the bottomless pit. So it's not me that has to be right, it's God Who is right on this matter.
So he arrives not by birth, I concede, but who would fully know this when he takes the world's stage. I jest, when I say Obama's birth certificate is shrouded in doubt. I'm steering off the plantation possibly. And 'no' I'm not endorsing our king as the antichrist. Just tossing around some thoughts.

you know, I've learned quite a bit about what a Christian should NOT have in their home
but, I think we can overdo it also
so like if I see a rainbow, I should look away because homosexuals use that as a symbol?

There are definitely certain things we should not have, but looking for demons under every rock or blaming demons for anything that goes wrong, reminds me more of superstition than actual hard facts
GOD created all things. If the devil takes something, because he is NOT a creator, and uses it, why jump on board and agree that rainbows, turquoise stones, doves and sunbursts are evil? They are not evil.
I'm taking Paul's advice regarding these things and I never and I won't flaunt my liberty in Christ in the face of someone who is a weak brother/sister
I've done the gauntlet regarding deliverance ministry teaching...I've seen stupid things that you would not believe...did not participate...even the term 'deliverance minister' is not biblical

demons are not a funny subject, but sadly some have turned 'deliverance' into a 3 ring circus.
basically, some folks have taken a subject and turned it into a doctrine...there are NO deliverance ministers in scripture
according to Jesus, ALL saved folks should know how to deal...but in the west, it is often a very overlooked subject and because of that, so called deliverance ministers have sprung up and teach that getting rid of spiritual conflict is a difficult and very hard thing to do. Thing is, there is no such thing as POSSESSION...according to how most people seem to understand it

how did Jesus deal with the devil when He was tempted? Did he run and find someone to perform some sort of ceremony or did someone tell Him to stay away from certain stones or art objects? NO! He simply stated 'It is written....'
We wield truth from our position IN Christ....the reason things have become so complicated, is because there is a dire LACK OF TEACHING on this subject

I reckon, in my humble opinion, it's the dove and sunburst together that makes it a religious thing. No, I don't feel a demon coming on, its just that personally i try to steer clear of all things 'Catholic looking'. Sacred heart, halos, female angel imagery, etc. Mystery Babylon all.

But sometimes certain images can be an invitation to the 'dark side'. If somebody is having continual attacks by the enemy, I'll recommend that they do a check list of what is in their lives.

yeah...I agree for the most part
I've watched enough vids on youtube...not to convince myself of anything but because I like to keep informed...some of them are so ridiculous with regards to conspiracies and symbols as to be mockery of what is real...and yet folks posting that stuff are deadly serious...
Again, there are things we do need to and should keep out of our home
For basically the same reason, I will not watch horror or demonic crap...as a child I was horribly afraid of the dark because of certain experiences I had ... I was very sensitive and it is often just that type of child that will be vulnerable to some things
I just avoid things that are open doors and especially since I am still sensitive, now tempered with discernment and armed with the Word, I think it very unwise to deliberately indulge in things you know are traps set to ensnare...Christians going into places and allowing into their minds things that are blatant adverts for the devil, do themselves no favors!
Discernment is right. I'm real careful about any movies from the latter sixties on. Thats when satan took over Hollywood.
Whats sad is many Christians will watch movies with the toilet mouths and nudity and the such. One youth leader that I knew for years were encouraging the young people to go see Titanic! I kid you not. 'F' word, nudity. So many Christians are 'waxing cold' because 'lawlessness abounds'.
While I'm on it, I took note also that if you approach a Christian about a film that has the 'rot' in it and tell them, they'll answer with 'I never saw that in it'.

As for the OP, back in 2013, when I was actually taking Biblical Hebrew, someone sent me a video (long gone off the internet) about this ridiculous mishmash of Hebrew and Greek to somehow prove Obama was the anti-Christ. I did a couple of pages of research, and the answer is NO! This is NOT correct.

I have to confess I don't understand why this kind of nonsense is still flying around on the Internet, when Obama is almost gone. Unless you thing he is going to declare some kind of Marshall law and stay on long past his term? I guess that would show Trump!

You know why that idea doesn't work? Because our Lord Jesus already came in the flesh once and died for us. If Satan is going mimic Christ then who would suspect he wasn't our Lord Jesus returned in His resurrected body, like suddenly appearing in the midst like our Lord Jesus did among His disciples?
