Not sure what you want here. Because I at one time I was not saved does not mean that I should be silent about sexual immorality. Yes, I was and am a sinner. I am only saved through the blood of Jesus Christ. Not sure if you are being sincere or just want to argue. As I have said many times, Approach people in love. It is through grace that all men (and women) are saved. If I were to sum up the bible in one word it would be Love.
now would this love you speak of here be flesh love in concern for the others or God's mercy Love to all. Spirit of each of us always speaks louder than words, not condoning sin, and not condemning others in theirs either just telling them God just love them, showed Mercy did God not? If you have received Mercy then show it or be dragged back into court

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, [SUP]5 [/SUP]does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, [SUP]6 [/SUP]does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; [SUP]7 [/SUP]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. [SUP]9 [/SUP]For we know in part and we prophesy in part; [SUP]10 [/SUP]but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. [SUP]11 [/SUP]When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. [SUP]13 [/SUP]But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Yes and so do you hold wrongs of others or have you received this love from God? Are you guilty here in reading this or are you freed in receiving this from Father through Son?

Yes belief and correct action cannot be forced. You aren't forcing someone when you tell them to leave, you are giving them a big reason to change. We are told to judge right and wrong, but not then take the rights and wrong and state what type of person that is. If a man in your church is doing wrong to the point of it corrupting his salvation (like the entire list of Galatians 5: 19-21) then it is best to talk to them once individually. Then in a group. Then cast them out. This shows them they must change. It IS loving because you are trying to lead them to salvation.
Sorry you speak of a self flesh works effort to get one to change under the mask of love, which is not it is behind the scene as force, you don't agree with them, so you kick them out taking away free choice from them forcing them to drink from your trough of water in your place of worship, that is not love in Spirit and truth, tha tis look at me and what I am doing, holier than the other
Sorry you just do not see your self righteousness, in the way of God unconditional love to all
For it is the kindness of God that teaches a man to say no to unrighteousness alone, Are you a studier of the word like Nicodemus?
Praying you see the difference of flesh and Spirit and pray for others for them to turn to God in trust to God to do in them whatever they agree with to change between God and them,
I know it is and was the grace of God through Son, his loving me unconditionally is what caused me to change, no commandment ever did, no kicking me out ever did
For Sin takes occasion by the commandment and kills me, you and all that are under it, each of us all still in unredeemed flesh that sins, unless we are dead to flesh in our minds and alive to God in Spirit and truth. Then we see and love all just as God has loved us. So instead talk to the other, tell them what you think, but don't kick them out as if you are holier. God forbid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 Peter 2:13-14 (ESV)13 suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, [5] while they feast with you. 14 They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!
GOD WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR MISLEADING HIS CHILDREN.
I guess Peter is to be or is held accountable for this denying Christ three times or is he forgiven and the growing in grace began. The Spirit is willing (deadone) that needs life, yet the flesh is weak, and Christ came to give life after he took our deserved deaths upon himself in the flesh in order to present us holy To Father in order for us to receive the free gift of new life in the Spirit of God that was born dead and alive to flesh not Spirit from the womb
He came to give us life more abundantly right, so is this done today or not? Did he accomplish this?

"In Rom. 1 Paul condemns homosexual acts, lesbian as well as male, in the same breath as idolatry (vv. 23–27), but his theological canvas is broader than that of Lv. Instead of treating homosexual behaviour as an expression of idolatrous worship, he traces both to the bad ‘exchange’ fallen man has made in departing from his Creator’s intention (vv. 25f.).

Seen from this angle, every homosexual act is unnatural (para physin, v. 26), not because it cuts across the individual’s natural sexual orientation (which, of course, it may not) or infringes OT law (contra McNeill), but because it flies in the face of God’s creation scheme for human sexual expression.

Paul makes two more references to homosexual practice in other Epistles. Both occur in lists of banned activities and strike the same condemnatory note. In 1 Cor. 6:9f. practicing homosexuals are included among the unrighteous who will not inherit the kingdom of God (but with the redemptive note added, ‘such were some of you’); and in 1 Tim. 1:9f. they feature in a list of ‘the lawless and disobedient’.

The latter is especially important because the whole list represents an updated version of the *Ten Commandments. Paul parallels the 7th commandment (on adultery) with a reference to ‘immoral persons’ (pornoi) and ‘sodomites’ (arsenokoitai), words which cover all sexual intercourse outside marriage, whether heterosexual or homosexual. If the Decalogue is permanently valid, the significance of this application is heightened still further.

It has been suggested that the meaning of arsenikoitēs in 1 Cor. 6:9 and 1 Tim. 1:10 may be restricted to that of ‘male prostitute’ (cf. Vulg. masculi concubitores). Linguistic evidence to support this view is lacking, however, though the word itself is certainly rare in literature of the NT period.

It seems beyond reasonable doubt that Paul intended to condemn homosexual conduct (but not homosexual people) in the most general and theologically broad terms he knew. His three scattered references fit together in an impressive way as an expression of God’s will as he saw it. As Creator, Law-Giver and King, the Lord’s condemnation of such behaviour was absolutely plain."

Bibliography. H. Thielicke, The Ethics of Sex, E.T. 1964; D. H. Field, The Homosexual Way—A Christian Option?, 1976; J. J. McNeill, The Church and the Homosexual, 1977.

I do agree with you PetoVeritas in terms of not to judge others. However, I believe it is right to identify something to be good or bad OR right or wrong for our own benefit. So it's OK to judge the action itself, but not the person. :)

Though the scriptures are clear with regards to homosexuality (see above citations), Jesus taught two golden rules for which we as Christians must adhere to. The first is to love thy God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind (Mathew, 22:37, Mark 12:30, and Luke 10:27); and the second is to love thy neighbor as thyself (Leviticus 19:18, Mathew 22:39, Mark 12:31, 1 John 4:11, 1 John 4:20-21).

As Christians it is not our place to condemn the behavior of our fellow brothers and sisters for we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). That is for God alone (James 4:12). Instead we are instructed to reach out and by our own example show to others the righteous path of our savior Jesus Christ (Luke 6:17-49).

Why bicker over the morality or immorality of what people do? The purpose of these discussions are the works of Lucifer who seeks to divide us. Instead, we ought to do as God has instructed us to d,o and through our example, they will follow.

In order for men to acquire faith they must not see things clearly from their human point of view but rather God's view. Don't lose touch with logic or reality but allow yourself a spiritual time in which your consciousness (oneness with everything) leads you instead of logic. Sounds like you are having deja-vus be blessed for these mean you are on the right track of life. What is funny is that we ourselves don't understand our destination but something inside of us does. We must have willpower and good intent. For many reality is a safe haven. For some it is a prison. It's amazing how we are all different as long as we stay grounded

If you want to be set free from Lesbianism, Homosexuality or Bisexuality.. or any of the others.. you can. God helped me renounce the demon of homosexuality (Sitri). I was searching all over google for years to find the LORDS, Justification. GUESS WHAT? There is none. He hates it! not the person but the sin. I asked God finally after searching MY OWN answer. I said Lord, what is your answer.. I opened my bible and looked down, the first thing my eyes caught was 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

Pray this prayer to be set free:

Dear Jesus of Nazareth I pray for forgiveness over all my sin knowingly or unknowingly, and especially homosexuality. I pray you wash me clean from the top of my head to the souls of my feet from this lifestyle and help me follow the path that you have composed for me. In the name of Jesus i renounce the powers of darkness in the way of homosexuality, I break all ungodly soul ties of any sexual partners and I bind the demon of homosexuality and throw you to the pit and bind you there by the blood of Jesus.
I speak the bible verse (2 Corinthians 5:17 ) into motion and activate it now in my life. "[FONT=Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here". [/FONT]

[FONT=Trebuchet, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Have faith and believe in this prayer. Work on your salvation and relationship with God everyday. Put on the full armor of God so that the devil cannot return with his legion as they will not find rest, and it is adamant that if you don't stand firm and rebuke him, he will methodically ease you back into the lifestyle. Firmly fit yourself with the armor of God found in Ephesians 6:14.

It will be a tough road. God never told us it will be easy to resist the devil, but he did say in 1 John 4:7 " Submit yourself then to God, resist the devil and he WILL flee from you". Resist his plan for you which is to "steal kill and destroy". What does he want to steal kill and destroy? ( Friendships, Salvation, confidence in Christ, emotions etc). God saved me from the life of homosexuality. Trust me, it took me a few tries. The devil eased me back slowly into it, but now I am free. I STOOD FIRM! I said NO SATAN GET YOUR FILTHY DEMONIC HANDS OF ME. I planted in my heart the truth that I AM A NEW CREATION, I AM CHOSEN, SET APART and FREE of homosexuality. If you ever feel just a little defeated speak some postive things in to motion and the devil will take a step back, so will his demons. say out loud if you ever feel you are being pulled back and enticed.. " I AM A NEW CREATION. I AM A CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD. I AM AN HEIR TO THE THROWN OF THE KINGDOM AND JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF WILL CROWN ME WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS ( 2 Timothy 4:8). I REBUKE YOU SATAN AND I CANCEL AND TERMINATE YOUR ASSIGNMENT TO DRAW ME BACK TO THE HOMOSEXUAL LIFESTYLE. I HAVE AUTHORITY OVER YOU THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST ACCORDING TO LUKE 10:19.

Say it regularly. Resist the devil and he my friend will FLEE! I am so happy that I was freed by christ from homosexuality. IT TAKES TIME, PERSEVERANCE AND A SHARP SWORD OF THE SPIRIT ( Gods word) TO DEFEAT SATAN'S LEGION.

Wow, twisted and squirmed like a slippery fish, hard to grab hold of but I still understand the main point searched for here. First of Satan the Lord Jesus rebukes you, not I but Him. This kind of reasoning is diabolic and or of the anti-Christ. God's Word is 100% understandable for the blood bough and Spirit sealed believers, It does not matter if Paul wrote it or anybody else, God's Word is Spiritual powered, meaning written by the Spirit of the living God, not all too sure how it works but so is stated. Romans 1 is a real hammer because God says (Through Paul) that man with man or women with women is abomination, one cannot over see it, words don't lie. Sin is sin no matter what dress or close it may be or not wearing. And the real hammer is this, God gave them over to, wow, to be abandoned and outcast, He even speaks of death to them that participate in such practices.

Now, step back everybody, and look at the real thing that is going on here, a sinner has come into this chat and cried at the top of her voice, HELP! God's Word is a sharp two-edged sword, and cuts life to life to those that believe and death to death to those that refuse. It is hard but life is also hard, but God is merciful, just call to Him and He will answer, But dear sister in all love, Christ died for your sins, every last one, and He is waiting for your with open arms, to take you in to His peace. I will be praying for you sister, that the Spirit of God will move upon you in a mighty way and open your eyes, please take the bread of life and taste of the water of life, we the blood bought have and we know that it is good. Be blessed in your search for the truth

Blind post in response to the OP.

take a look at Romans 1, where it says that the women abandoned their natural use for that which is against nature. Likewise also the men abandoned the natural use of the woman and burned in lust one for another.

I am not gay, and you neitehr as per this post I assume and scripture you wrote is true, Soi how you doing on that, the best I found I can do is decide daily to be dead to sin and walk in Spirit and truth, and if I do sin I have Jesus as my advocate that took away sin, so does everyone that believes and God knows who does and who does not.

Now for me I am held back in condemning anyone, why? Becasue Godchoise through Son not to condemn me
So I think this way on it:
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

2 Corinthians 10:6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Is your obedience full, who am I, you or anyone else to condemn others?
Just a little food form thought, are you redeemed, even though you still sin, whether it be one sin or another, sin is sin period, and Christ took it all at the cross, for us to be thankful not condemning you think?

What is your take on God the Father of Christ, a tyrant, or a Merciful God?
Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

And God left us up to a reprobate mind
And then see what God's kindness is meant for:
2 Corinthians 6:6 by pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
Ephesians 2:7 that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
2 Peter 1:7 and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Repentance is to turn from unbeleif that God did go to the cross for you, for you to beleive and recieve new life that one does not need to show to anyone. When received it is received, and God himself is the one that gives life to the believer as God chooses, after one decides to believe God in God' mercy through Son offered without works from us, via the cross first death to cleanse you, then presented to Father to give you new life thoughts, that sustains you, no longer belonging to this world, in being messed up.
Love you from God through Son start right there and seek to know God's love above everyone else, and you will know truth, and this truth will set you free indeed
