get over yourself.

God had Elijah live in the desert. John the Baptist spent most of his life in a tent in the desert.

Why do you think it is GOD's will that everyone have man made homes when HE can create homes without the help of men?

it is better to teach a man to fish than give him a fish.

loving our neighbors is more than just giving them material things, it is showing them God and His ways and teaching them to WORK for their daily bread if God has given them the ability. encouraging sloth is wrong. Creating a community where everyone has a place and a job that gives meaning to their life should be a goal of all Christians. People don't want handouts, they want hand ups.

what are YOU doing about the homeless problem?
We are loveless. I tell you that there are 18 million homes EMPTY. We can make crime disappear and this is the response?

that is the problem with YOUR thinking. WE can't make anything happen. It is GOD who has the power and GOD who saves people from MORE than just homelessness. Giving people houses does NOT stop crime. many people will just use those houses to make drugs because they don't CARE who they hurt. they don't look to God but are selfish and look only to their own desires and worldly pleasures.

again what is YOUR answer to homeless people? what do YOU do personally?

Do YOU feed them? Do YOU clothe them? have you helped someone get a house? Have you with your own two hands help build them a home?

How do you know that those you address have not done those things and more? How do you not know that it is God's will to do MORE then just give them an earthly home, but bring them to the knowledge of HIM and give them an ETERNAL Heavenly Home?

You may be loveless. but WE have God's love and His Truth and we keep our eyes upon what God tells us is eternal and help those who God has placed in our lives with the things and the means and the wisdom God has given us to help them.

we don't spout recthoric about how many houses that WE don't own can be given to a faceless mass of people. no instead we learn their names and feed them clothe them, teach them how to help themselves. we give them pride in what THEY can do for God's people and not our pity and false charity. We help them to know what it means to be a beloved Child of God and how this world is temporary and the promise of God and eternal life is more than we can imagine.

I'm given the power to love and forgive! And if mankind makes All things common and free of charge then crime will stop. The love of money is the root of evil then let's get rid of money.

The early church was not persecuted because they simply taught Jesus. They were killed because they made all things common, which in turn threatens those in power's control over buying and selling.

God doesn't need money. Life is given to all indiscriminately. So is death and eternal life. The light from the sun, the rain. These things are freely given. Now again there are 6 homes for every homeless person in america to choose from. And your excuse (remember you're in the image of God) as to why we can't freely give is what?

my points are only nodes of faith.

today it had me thinking in philosophy the difference between criticsm and an opinion.though a synonym (similar)
we are supposed to want mild criticism in wisdom(reproach)an opinion can go either way.either for or against a person.

we arent supposed to teach unless we can bridle the whole body.
when someone is givng you advice you should discern them for that reason.

most importantly do we keep god in mind when we try to help others or do we think of ourselves first.
what ive learned is sometimes you just cant help people.they have to want to hold closer to his words as affirmations.

i dont actually know the conversation you had.

what i know of sin?
our sister law should be written in our hearts
we are to love thy neighbor as we love ourselves.

when we are forgiven of that.we are saved
i think christians are hindered by morality.it is as if we are breaking a law
and it is a thing of repentance.

Good news about salvation ! We cannot lose our salvation. Jesus says in John 10:27-28 that nothing can snatch us from His hands. In Romans chapter 8 Paul says that nothing can separate us from His love. In Ephesians chapter 1:13-14, Paul says we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. Throughout scripture God says He will not leave us or forsake us. People that teach that a person can lose their salvation aren't grounded in God's word. Yes, we can and do sin. That's why God gave us 1 John 1:9. When we sin we are to confess(agree with God) and then repent of our sin. There are many more scriptures about this topic. First John is a great epistle concerning salvation. The reformers believed in what is referred to as the perserverance of the saints.

[h=3]Luke 12:47-48[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]47 [/SUP]And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. [SUP]48 [/SUP]But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

Matthew 25
[SUP]14 [/SUP]“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. [SUP]15 [/SUP]And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. [SUP]17 [/SUP]And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. [SUP]18 [/SUP]But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. [SUP]19 [/SUP]After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ [SUP]21 [/SUP]His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ [SUP]22 [/SUP]He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ [SUP]23 [/SUP]His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
[SUP]24 [/SUP]“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. [SUP]25 [/SUP]And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
[SUP]26 [/SUP]“But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. [SUP]27 [/SUP]So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. [SUP]30 [/SUP]And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

here's a hint, its not talking about literal money and the parable is for a DEEPER understanding about what is truly important to GOD and not just men.

you are not the Judge, God is.

you do not have the power to "measure forgiveness". you are like the false prophets in the old testament that say peace when God says there is NO Peace for the wicked.

you beat and berate people for not giving to you and others what is not yours to begin with and go against what Jesus and His disciples taught. Paul told people to have them WORK for their bread, not going around stirring up trouble and strife.

Judas was upset that the woman used expensive oil to annoint Jesus instead of selling it and giving to the poor. Yet Judas cared nothing for the poor but wanted to steal the money because he was in charge of the money bags. The Bible records the corruption of mankind, or what an unrepentant untouch, not born again heart does and seeks after.

why do you think YOU have the power or authority to "measure forgiveness to us all"? and why should you be rewarded for trying to usurp God's authority and take for yourself what you have not been given?

Proverbs 25:14
Whoever falsely boasts of giving Is like clouds and wind without rain.

God gives forgiveness.

He does it by HIS terms not yours, and He is not unjust if He chooses to punish those who are unrepentant sinners by giving them what they have earned: His Wrath. Do not take for granted God's mercy and grace to forgive and create in people NEW hearts or degrade the NEED of the world to HAVE New hearts and renewed spirits seeking after GOD's will.

Do you read the bible? If so what did PHARAOH tell Moses when he stated to let the people go?

I have the power to forgive...... This is how I use it. By saying "I forgive you". And I will judge angels. It is but a simple matter to judge that if One died for ALL, then ALL were dead. But I know you and most will not believe because you love the world.

Exodus 5:1-5

5*And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

2*And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.

3*And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

4*And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

5*And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

You have the mind of pharaoh.

I think I'm going to go off and read the Bible and pray now.......

Matthew 11
[h=3][/h][SUP]25 [/SUP]At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. [SUP]27 [/SUP]All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [SUP]29 [/SUP]Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [SUP]30 [/SUP]For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Something that Pharoah didn't know....

Yesterday I went to a different christian chat and met someone who said that we lose our salvation whenever we sin. So when we sin, we're not saved, thus we're not in Christ. He gave proof from the Bible but it seems it's his interpretation and I personally saw how he misjudged me and others. I personally don't think he should bring new born people to tears like he did with me.

This man claimed a true christian should/cannot not sin, whether willingly or not. I'd like to know what you guys think.
We sin everyday but if we are in Christ Jesus we just have to pray for forgiveness. First, you have to be in Christ. That's done by obeying God's plan of salvation. We have to BELIEVE, REPENT OF OUR SINS, CONFESS JESUS IS SON OF GOD, AND BE BAPTIZED. Mark 16:15 &16 Acts 2:38 I Peter 3:21 If you have done these things then you are a child of God and when you sin you simply ask God to forgive you.

What greater love can a man have who lays his life down for the brethren. Why am I an idiot? Because my love is indeed gentle, that the people may find rest. If I am transformed then I have crucified the flesh. So it is no longer I, but Christ who lives in me and gave Himself a ransom for me.

Remember I see you on victory, and see me an idiot because I also see your enemy, renewed and victorious with us.

Is it not God who JUSTIFIES the UNGODLY? This cannot possibly be the "saved" correct?
