Romans 6 reveals majestic glory that I once heavily overlooked. We are blessed.

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?Don't you know, that to which one you do with your body, you are owned by? Either you are owned by sin which will surely lead you to death, or you are owned by obedience which leads you to righteousness.
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But THANK GOD, you used to be the servants of sin, always committing it, but now you have obeyed from the heart that certain for of teaching which was delivered to you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

I wasnt sinless, then I died. I was literally buried in baptism with Him, I was then raised up like He was and now walk in newness of life. Romans 6- the message behind this thread. Those who are yet still asleep cannot wake others up.
It's we who are trying to wake you up, but you reject the rebuke and correction of the body of Christ. God is no longer counting your sins against you. Move on from your obsession with sins, it is stifling your spiritual growth.

When you understand the difference between "sin" the noun and "sinning" the verb that Paul talks about in Romans chapter 6 & 7. Then you will know what this scripture means.

When you know what Col. 2:11 means - it too will help you to understand what this means as well. The circumcision of Christ is of the heart where the heart of the believer - the new creation in Christ is "cut away" from the flesh. The flesh never dies my friend until the spirit leaves the body.

Those that belong to Christ have been cut away from the flesh or have crucified the flesh. We are not "in the flesh" but "in the spirit". Romans 8:10

Galatians 5:24 (NASB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

have crucified the flesh is Aorist indicative - which means it is a one time thing that happened to all believers when they received Christ. It is not something we do. We are to reckon it as being done and we are "in the spirit" now and we are to be alive unto God.

I beseech you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the alive and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

For the time has come when they do not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts have heaped themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they have turned away their ears from the truth, and have turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing

The reason I asked about chastening is because all of God's children should question if/when they don't experience His chastening in their lives … chastening shows we're really His children.

Kind of a two-edged sword. It's not pleasant to be chastened. It reminds us of our fallen state. But we should actually delight in it and run to Him for it because it reminds us that He loves us (Heb 12:7), and the fruit of our chastening is most excellent!

Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Yup. That is exactly what we are trying to do here. Stop YOU from departing from sound doctrine and spreading false ones.

Does it even enter your mind that you are wrong? Your doctrine IS wrong and damaging. NOT only to you, but immature Christians that will stumble as ALL humans do, but at least be honest that they do sin, and then listen to the lies of the enemy, that God doesn't love them and they are lost.

Then they come on here to be uplifted by brothers and sisters in Christ who truly have a heart for them. Renew their minds to the beauty of God's Grace, and use that love from the Gospel to walk in the Spirit more fully, and not listen to the flesh and the enemy, ONLY TO SEE SOME GUY TELL THEM THAT THEY AREN'T REALLY GOD'S, THEY ARE THE DEVILS!

So please. STOP with this nonsense and uplift others in love and patience.

Oh I fully agree.....that is how God deals with continual sin in a believe....there are quite a few here that reject this truth.....many miss the balance found in the scriptures when it comes to sin in a believer....going way to far to the left or right.....

Please no name calling. No sarcasm.
Some names are worth calling like deluded.

I am going to do my best to explain why I am able to say that I will never sin again.
Your best will not be good enough here,, youll get banned if you carry on with this sinless perfection doctrin... the mods here will give you 3 strikes,,,, youve had two...

I pray that after you read this message, you will agree that it is not absurd for a son of God to say so. Bear with me as I break down Romans 6, for the key to overcoming a sin after receiving the Holy Spirit is found within it.
Ill pray for you to believe that 99 percent of this forum will find your doctrin absurd no matter what you say...and your just wasting your time in doing so..

Youll be doing your self a great favor if you listen to all the mature brothers and sister in christ and not just your self.............

I wonder why you didn't bold this part of the scripture...

Because you still have its passions and desires!!! You shouldn't have them, Those are crucified unless he have believed in vain!

I no longer have them. I have recieved Jesus Christ. I want what he wants, He gave me his mind, He gave me His Spirit, and He has given me a message for His people: You shall be judged first as it is written. Let there not be a single worker of iniquity amongst your members. Do you believe a branch of My vine produces fruits of sin while abiding in Me and therefore cause My vine to produce even the smallest of a bad fruit! Woe to you. My Vine produces My Fruit, there is only righteousness. Do you vainly believe you are in my vine while producing fruits of sin? You call the fruits of the enemy fruits of My own!! Destroy your members on the earth that cause you to error or they will destroy you. Be not deceived, you will reap what you sow. Repent from your wickedness or perish. A servant of sin is no servant of mine.

Makes one wonder why God saw fit to give Christians this little piece information and advice....

"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want." Gal. 5:16-17

How is it if you disagree and want to stir trouble, why are here?
Oh because that is all you want to do. Now what a surprise.

I suppose if Jesus started a thread you would do the same thing, pretty
stupid I think.

Religious nonsense my friend.

The flesh with "it's" desires will always be here until we go to be with the Lord or He comes. That's why we walk by the spirit so that we don't fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Galatians 5:16 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

If people are in sin what does scripture tell us to do?
Repent confess and get right with God.

A persons faith or theoretical standing has nothing to do with it.
Hell is the lake of fire for sinners, not saints. You are a sinner because you sin.
