Worship is in Spirit and in Truth not in a given day of the week.

Of a truth it is said that these people worship God with their lips but their hearts are far from Him.

For the cause of Christ

Some people claim that the term the “breaking of bread” indicates Paul’s visit was a communion or worship service. This is not true! The disciples broke bread every day! ( Acts 2:46,47 [KJV]) In Luke 24:13-31, Jesus “broke bread” at supper time with two of His disciples after walking with them more than seven miles to Emmaus.
To this day, breaking bread is a custom in the Orient because bread is often baked so firm that it has to be literally broken in order to eat it. As was the custom at Passover, Jesus “broke bread” with His disciples

Christians are holy in Christ. Christ has fulfilled all that the Father required and finished the work.

Israel could not keep the law and neither can you. To offend in one point is to offend the whole law. The law points to Christ not to us. Put your eyes on Christ and on Gods grace not the shadow of the law.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
Finished huh? Seems that a lot still remains. The trib, the second coming, the Millennium, the GWTJ, NJ and the list goes on.

Let me ask how you fell about lying? No Law against it?

At the beginning of the first day of the week, at supper time, the believers came together to eat supper with Paul and say good-bye to their dear friend. The first day of the week for Paul began at sundown, or what we call Saturday evening. Therefore, according to Scripture, Paul preached Saturday night until midnight.
A few hours later, what we call Sunday morning, the first day of the week, Paul departed Troas for Assos. If Sunday had been a sacred day, Paul would not have departed for Troas. (See Acts 1:12)
I doubt he would have hiked 19 miles either.

Paul met with believers for supper and preached to them until midnight, Saturday night. A farewell supper and a Saturday night
Paul met with believers when he could but interestingly enough, most of the times that are recorded are the Sabbath. In fact...

Act 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

His manner was the Sabbath.

You quoted a verse to support your point one can do the same because no where Acts 20:7 supports Sunday worship
Other than the fact that the believers gathered together Sunday morning after a long Saturday of evangelizing Jews in the Temple on the Sabbath, no day is "special worship day" hehe. We are all in The Day of the Lord now. It is Eternal. We do good every day. That is how the Sabbath is kept, when Christ shows forth His Faith through us and we Rest in Him in this Eternal Great and Notable Day of the Lord Praise Jesus!

Bullinger has this...

break bread. See note on Act_2:42.

the note on Act_2:42...

breaking of bread. This was the common meal. Compare verses:##Act_44:46 and Mat_14:19. Isa_58:7.

Why does the author of Hebrews say this?

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

The word rest here comes from the word Sabbatismos. The Diaglott has it...

Heb 4:9 Therefore remains a keeping of a sabbath for the people of the God.

And the margin of my trusty ole Oxford KJV has it "keeping the Sabbath"

As far as keeping the Sabbath every day, when do you work?

I find it interesting that there is so much animosity against the fourth Commandment. When it comes up people immediately resort to certain canned phrases. "Righteousness doesn't come from the Law" or "That's legalism" or the super self righteous comment "Well, Christ is my Sabbath".

The part I find interesting is that I have NEVER said that salvation comes from Law keeping or works. What I have said is that God can and does ask us to obey Him.

There is another being on a higher plane that feels that way also. His rebellion brought about this whole mess in the first place...

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Oh my those golden calves do get quite boisterous.

Christ finished the work of atonement.

The Father is going to judge this world by His Son.

The atonement is done the victory is won. Christ rose from the tomb and ascended on high. This world is awaiting judgment and is storing up wrath against itself. The church has no part in that. The church is not appointed to wrath. The church does not stand before the GWT. The church is not here during the tribulation. The church will rule and reign with Christ during the Millennium and the church will have a part in the New Jerusalem but that again has naught to do with the finished work of Christ.

What do you think of those who wish to tell God what God must do or point out where God left something undone?

So why do the majority of the world follow that are you saying the multitude are wrong ?
11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

But who is the AC is he already here ?
He is alive but not yet appointed. He will be appointed when Jerusalem is overtaken. He will stand in the holy place as a matter of fact, he will sit on the throne of the temple that is on the holy place.

The Mahdi of Islam (12th and next Imam and the messiah of Islam) is said to rule from Jerusalem as the capital of Islam. He is said to be none other than Allah in the flesh and therefore will declare himself to be god. He will force others to worship the black stone (image of Islam) and convert to Islam or be put to death. He will deceive many by even claiming to be the second coming of Jesus Christ here to establish his kingdom upon the earth. He will work miracles (even establishing peace where there is none) for a season before revealing his true intentions. He will supposedly fight against the antichrist (which is described as our Lord Jesus in the Quran).

Etc... etc...

Daniel 7:25King James Version (KJV)

25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Who is the he ?

Probably Antiochus IV.

How does he change laws and times ?

What are these laws and times that will be changed ?
He made the Jews profane the Sabbath and feasts, sacrifice to idols, follow Seleucid/Hellenistic customs, cease sacrifice in the temple, sacrifice pigs and unclean animals, and cease practicing circumcision.

When will they change ?
Circa 175-164 BC.
