Okay, then what if your daughter wanted to take an unbelieving man on a date to the prom because she found him handsome? What would you say? Yes, or no?
I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

As much as Jason knows scripture, he's got some maturing to do. I know a guy that was just like him. For 6 years he was on fire....everywhere he went it was....do you know Jesus...why not....do you want too....bible this bible that.... just constant incessant relentless obnoxiousness. He is now a hopeless drunk...lost everything, his family his house....everything.
Yeah man....it's bad.
I can not believe he just twisted it like that, on Ugly.

I sometimes wonder how you type Jason.....you're so busy thumping and chucking Bibles at us...how do your hands find the free time?

I have no more words for this guy.

So you take one example of someone and assume it is the case for all believers who are on fire for God? In fact, one of the biggeest lies being pushed today is that people who love God and the Scriptures are just plain crazy and dumb. Would you label John the Baptist or Isaiah in such a way, too?

You have got to be kidding. Twist the words? First, how many people know about BDF as an abbreviation here at CC (Christian Chat)? Second, is it appropate behavior to correct someone into thinking on that which is true rather than letting them continue into believing a falsehood or a lie? In other words, lets say you were in my shoes and the same thing happened to you? Would you like not care if he didn't say anthing to you so as to correct you (Making you believe something that is false)? Can you imagine this being a problem with other people doing this to you in other things? What if your mechanic just let you believe something that you thought was wrong about your car? What if your dentist let you believe a silly idea you had about your teeth? What if ..... do you see where I am going with this?

Look, I know you're upset.
I don't know what you want me to say?

It isn't about the BDF acronym anymore....what's right, is what's right Jason.
You do owe him an apology for how far you took it though.
Sorry you felt like we were making fun of you...I do apologize...we stated that it was an honest mistake by you.
Laugh a little brother.
Life is good man.

Maybe you should've asked instead of visiting a very inappropriate web site.

Fun at my expense? How is that like Christian?
Hey, don't bring me into all this. :p

But seriously, when I take out the garbage, I don't think about anything other than how nice it is to remove a smelly bag from my house and for it to be gone by the morning. I'm a Christ follower too, but it's very possible to over-spiritualise everything.

While I do forgive him (Because that is what Christians do), I am more than happy to apologize if he is willing to apologize. For his reply back to me was like he did not care if I believed something false about him. In other words, I have apologized many times here at CC when it was appropriate; And I am willing to do so again, if he is man enough to admit that he was wrong for not replying better to me in a more loving way.

Exactly my point....and one that has continually been lost on Jason.

I Googled what "BDF" meant. It seemed to fit in what he was saying in the post. So that is the way I took it. Nobody should be expected to know CC abbreviations and if they do use them, it should be understandable that they will misunderstand it for another abbreviation that is more well known.

Q: What do you call a lazy kangaroo?

A: Pouch potato.

We live in a day and age where asking people has gone the way of the dinosaur. People now ask Google with their smart phones instead (Which may end up also including the Amazon Echo in the near future, too).
