Can a person be saved without reading the entire Bible?
I would use caution there. Because Christ said that the road is narrow and few find it. His teachings are very important.
There is milk, but then there is meat of the word. We need our senses exersised in the meat of the word, to properly better discern good from evil . ( Hebrews 5:12- 15 )

Satan tempted Christ with scripture. And Christ knew scripture. Remember the gospel armor. We need the Word and Christ was the living word. And it takes all the words of Christ in order to find that narrow road that few find. Salvation through Christ is good, but in order to hold fast to that, that no man take it, you need to be familiar with whats written, or like Christ warned, we would be deceived Mark 13, Matthew 24 etc... But that being said, I don't think we need to say, memorize the whole thing, but we should know what its talking about and understand it overall.

A person is saved through the new covenant. That covenant says that when we repent of our sins, they are miraculously wiped out and we are made clean through Jesus. That is salvation. Jesus, repentance, forgiveness, salvation.

After we are saved, we are to grow in spiritual understanding, to make God more and more a part of us. In order to do that we need to fill ourselves with the written word of God. It takes the entire word of God to fill us completely and accurately. Instructions for how God wants us to live are not written for the unsaved but for the saved.

To borrow a phrase from elsewhere:

Cp.
Mark 2:21-22; Luke 5:36-39.
I disagree sir,Mathew 23:1-3 then jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples " the teacher of the Law and the Pharisees sit in moses' seat so you must be careful to do everything they tell you; but donot do what they do for they donot practice what they preach. This seems very clear to me that Jesus is saying we must obey The Law being taught by the teachers who were following on from Moses,( sitting in his seat ) this can only be The Law of the OT?

He said that to people under the old covenant. Are you a member of the old covenant?

Matt 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
There's no partiality in Christ, He was in the beginning of The Old Testament. Gen 1:26 Let US make man in OUR image.

Brillant. Who was He telling to do everything the Pharisee's told them to do?
I would imagine a crowd of Jews, and don't be rude to me,I don't deserve to be condescended to,your question wasn't specific,I thought you hadn't read the quote properly but refrained from being rude to you and replying " read the scripture thicko"

As a Christian yes I belive I am a member of the old covenant and the new covenant, what about you?
No, I'm not a member of the old covenant primarily because it doesn't exist anymore. This was said almost 2000 years ago. How could it still be around?

In calling [the new covenant] new, he has declared the former [covenant] to be old. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is near to disappearing. Hebrews 8:13

Is Christianity the religion of Judaism? Is Jesus telling Christians today to do everything the Pharisees told the Jews then to do??

I think millions of jews might disagree with you,Jesus was a Jew,so were his disciples, the OT and old covenant formed the basis of there religious learning,it must still be relevant

2Timothy 3:

~…15and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work

This does not say that some of the scripture is inspired by God but ALL is not just the New Testament but the Old Testament too. Then it goes on to tell you why..... and if you follow the writings of the OT there is a benefit still today.

All Jesus had to go by in His time on earth was the OT. He trusted and obeyed His Father in Heaven....OT was not all Jews they came after Abraham....just saying....

Christianity was born from Judaism it had to be,jesus was a Jew,so were all his disciples and 99% of the people He ever spoke to were jews, all there religious learning Came from Judaism, are you trying to say that because Jesus was talking to a jewish crowd who followed Judaism then His words mean nothing to Christians? Christians didn't exist when Jesus was preaching apart from mabey the 12 disciples and they didn't call themselves Christians all though they belived in Jesus,I don't understand what your trying to say?
