Therefore to teach God made Saturday the Sabbath is a big lie from Satan
who loves to deceive the weak people.

.
There is absolutely no disagreement or dispute amongst the Jews as to which day is the seventh day
of the week. Every synagogue in every country is in perfect agreement that Saturday is the seventh
day of the week.

the oracles of God

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel
which spake to him in [the mount Sina], and with our fathers:

who received the lively oracles [ to give unto us ] Acts 7:38

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need
that one teach you again which be the first principles of

[the oracles of God]; and are become such as have
need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12

If any man speak, let him speak as [the oracles of God];
if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:

that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11

What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way:chiefly, because that unto them

were committed [the oracles of God]. Romans 3:2

- - -

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no priest to me:

seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.
O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Yet no where in the Scriptures does God say Saturday is the Sabbath day. Not one word about which day of the week is the Sabbath day.

Therefore we can keep Sunday as our Sabbath Day.

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions,
and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

When Titus was written, I can bet there was no striving about the Sabbath. It was a no-brainer.

Are you (as a Christian) saying that the 10 Commandments are useless and a waste of time ?

with a view like that it is not surprising Society is in such a mess and on the road to hell !

Are you having trouble understanding what the scripture says? What Paul is talking about?

of all the times the word "Scripture" is used in the Bible, all but one refer to mainly the Old Testament.

Only once in the whole Bible, does Peter directly imply that Paul's letters are Scripture.
think on that.

Since you understand which law Paul is talking about maybe you will be good enough to explain it to me ?

There were all kinds of striving about the ceremonial use of the Sabbath just as today . The corrupted Jews by that time had many oral traditions subject to change, always changing as the commandments of men by the Jewish fathers making the written tradition of God to no effect. They were allowed to eat three meals on the Sabbath day. We can see that in this person’s empty boast in the parable found in Luke used in respect to it.

Luke 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

This is clearly a transliteration error. Replacing the word rest (Sabbaton) a word that means rest for the word week a time period.

It should have been paraphrased... I fast twice on Sabbath , I give tithes of all that I possess.

If we would follow that parable to its conclusion then we would have a better understanding which one was justified in the eyes of the Lord and which one had an empty boast as the context of that parable.

Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

The commandments as God's perfect law is not subject to change as to the commandments of men are subject to change. They do not vary from the old to the new. The whole Bible is the book of God's law, written with the finger of God .Called inspired or loosened from heaven.
Not loosened as a oral tradition of the fathers.

We are not to compare it to the private interpretation of the Jews as if we needed a man to teach us to begin with.

seems you and many others are.... 2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.

its sad and amazing the lengths folks will resort to, to rebel against the clear commands given by our Creator...

Yes...some people do go to great lengths to NOT obey what is in the Law.

The Law says that we are to stone our children if they are disobedient. Have we done that?

The Law says that we are to stone those in our family that try to get us to go away from God. Have we done that to the unbelievers in our families?

The Law says that we are to "separate" our wives and daughters from in our house when they are on their period. Do we do that?

No, we water down the Law to make it seem "Do-able"...but in actual fact "law-keepers" break the Law constantly and yet proclaim that we are to "keep" some Laws.

And yet all this religion goes against the New Covenant of faith in Christ as our life.

The Law has not been done away with. It is that we Christians are "have died to the Law" SO THAT we could be joined to another - Christ Himself. The Law is made for the unrighteous and NOT for the righteous. 1 Tim. 1:9 We are the righteous ones in Christ.

The Christian has died to the Law, been released from the Law, and is not under the Law any more and the Law is NOT of faith. It can't get much plainer then that.

Died to the Law:

Romans 7:4 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]
Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

( bearing fruit for God is NOT based on the Law but based on our union with Christ Himself )

Been released from the Law:

Romans 7:6 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

Not under the Law:

Romans 6:14 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

The Law is NOT of faith: The righteous shall live by faith - faith in what Christ has done.

Galatians 3:12 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM."

( If people are going to live by the Law - they need to live by them - every Law - not pick and choose to water down the Law to make it seem "do-able". James says to break one law is to be guilty of the whole law )

Again Yonah i ask you, where in the Scriptures, and Scriptures only, does God ever say Saturday is the Sabbath?

I do understand it was the Jewish people who chose Saturday. Therefore if Saturday was the Sabbath Day then why is God so silent on which day of the week is the Sabbath day?

Its simple to answer. Its because God has allowed us TRUE Children of God to keep Sunday as the Sabbath day.

Romans 14:5-6
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. [SUP]6 [/SUP]He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord
