Zone, if you want more information, check out this article by brother Laurence M. Vance:
There we have it, an entire cult with a totally whacky belief system based on a single verse taken out of context, that is how most cults run. King James Only is a CULT and a dangerous one which will bind you to bondage. It is a cult of Satan as people struggle to read King James and give up, or simply end up ditching Bible study and just follow what the cult leaders say.

I am sure most of you can see how ridiculous this article is, how much confusion there is and how absured the whole thing over Gods word being purified 7 times in the English Language, Why was it decided that English is the language of God, when at that time hardly anyone spoke English?

Look folks, dont let this cult fool you, ask yourself, what happened to all the poor folks who did not have a Bible for 1400 years before John Wycliffe decided to have a crack at translation work? Did God really let his people go without a genuine Bible for 1400 years? No of course not. God is perfect or not? God got the work right first time around, we can see how all the Bibles hardly vary from copy to copy, why would God let imperfection and corrupt Bible go around for 1400 years? If English was the choice, then dont you think he would have had Jews speaking English, then Paul could have written in English.

No, this cult is pathetic and stupid, I already shown time and time again how intellectually weak and pathetic its leaders are, but of course like good cult members, people like Chosenbyhim follow blindly without question and ignore the flaws in what they say and teach.

They had the Great Bible, Bishop's Bible, Geneva Bible, and other trust worthy reliable English Translations. God's word was being purified through this Line of English Bibles. And of course perfection was reached in 1611 with the translation of the Authorized Version.
what happened to all the non-english speakers - Latin Hebrew Greek readers?

damned?

i just find it sad they're shaming a good translation....and shaming the Holy Spirit by claiming God can not [assuredly?] save through other languages or translations.

stoopid.

Zone, the Bible Version Issue is not a salvation issue, it is an issue of Final Authority.

You are confusing the issue here. God's word has always been available. We know that from Psalm 12. And also Isaiah 40:8.

Non English speaking people also had the word of God.

If your not sure about the issue then study it.

Here is a link to a good article which Will Kinney wrote. Very good article.

Where was the word of God before 1611 and where is it today?

Brother, spiritual warfare isn't passive. It is about a committed enemy who was seeking our destruction the moment God created Adam. Satan is not a toothless puppy, he is a roaring lion seeking to devour. He is a defeated foe but his ultimate defeat is still future. God is still allowing him to run free for a short while.

God has given us many "equalizers" and certainly we have nothing to fear in Christ. Like Elisha and his servant when they were surrounded by the enemy, God surrounded them with angels, so it is with us. The only way we can loose that protection is by stepping away from it thru habitual unrepentant sin.
And Satan only succeeds through one's flesh because all sin has:
[h=3]Romans 8:3[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]3 [/SUP]For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

So lets ask God how to walk in God's Spirit so we might not sin, actually allow our flesh to get n the way.
By Baptism of the Holy Ghost one dies with Christ back at the cross of Christ or don't we know this

[h=3]Romans 6:4[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Spiritual battle is also when you cast out demons.
Actually God through you, no credit to self, all to God
I stand in righteousness, not my own ever, God's, thanks to Christ I am made a partaker, a responder not an initiator

Look how hard you now have to work to justify your cults teaching and view, with even more bizzare get out clauses to justify things.
Right off the bat from the above article,

There are no original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts anywhere. There are several different Hebrew texts plus the conflicting Dead Sea Scrolls. There are over 25 different conflicting Greek texts...
Blah blah

I find it amazing that you are using the same arguments atheists use and therefore what I have to say on the subject is exactly what I have to say to atheists, really... is this the fruits and products of a genuine Christian branch? NO. Its a cult with totally misguided views.

Show me any original manuscript from the pen of one of antiquities historians, Livy, Pliny, Tacitus, Plutarch, Suetonious even Julius Ceaser.

oh wait... you cant because they dont exist.

Yet we accept these books as accurate. The time from Ceaser writing the Gallic Wars to the earliest known copy is 900 years. Gap from Tacitus Histroy and annuals is 800 years, and so on.

Obviously original texts and original first Bible compile from them dosn't exist, so what. Hundreds of manuscripts, copies of the original are in existance written in Greek etc dating from around 300 years after the original authors wrote the Gospels, which is a darn site better survival rate than any other historical works. We have more complete works in the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus, which no doubt cult of King James will say is work of Satan. Incidently the earliest known written document we have of the Gospels is found on the Reynolds Papyrus a few fragments of Gospel of John, dated about 150 years after writing.

ALready then we can see how flawed this whole argument is, the whole article is based on this assumption about non existent works, yet anyone with a basic understanding of historical text and documentation can see how stupid it all is.

Brining up the argument about how many different conflicting writings there are, such as dead sea scrolls.. again intellectually foolish thing to say, obviously they exist, and obviously they are different, but like today, there were many cults and oppenents of Christianity all coming out with crap like the King James Only Cult comes out with.

The dead sea scrolls were not put in the Bible, nore were any other of these writing, so why is this article brining this issue up? Simple reason is manipulation and an attempt to mis-guide the impressionable and those who do not possess basic knoweldge.

I will also now remind people about this whole King James nonsense is an utter joke, you simply have to read the thousands of "changes" they object to, to see how crazy they are. Objection to the use of Passover instead of Easter.... Really ? Objection to changing Face Ring to Nose Ring, which apparently changes Rebecca into a savage cannibal.

You can not take this cult seriously, if they can not even get these simple things right, as I said before, if you go to someone to teach you math and they tell you 3+45 = 12212312 then you are not going to listen to them any more. This cult can not get simple basic things right, so why trust them with the rest of this garbage they come out with?

I have already pulled apart the foundations of your cult, which you ignore.

Yes satan is defeated but still a roaring lion who seeks to devour. To me it seems you keep making the point that our enemy is impotent and not of any consequence. That just isn't biblical.

satan's not doing a very good job, RedTent.

could you please document that Judah (jews) are being sent to the holy land, by God FOR THEIR GOOD in the 21st century, from SCRIPTURE?

what about the other tribes?

or do you mean ancient Israel when you reference jews?

please explain from the BIBLE.

OT is fine.
thx.
I do not understand about the Jews going to Israel, God said they would and now they are. It is enough for me. "For their own good"?? Really? Perhaps you are privileged with all of God's plan and how it is to be worked out, God hasn't told me all of it. So if you know all and you know it is straight from God, you tell us, I can't.

Even the people going back haven't a clue about any of it, most of them don't even have God in their lives. And you ask me to know? I report what God tells me in scripture, I know nothing else.

You seem to know all about who Jews are, lost tribes, Israel, and how I am from Satan and you can prove it. So you are in the drivers seat, so you tell us all about it again.

The Jews are being gathered in order to be judged and if they continue to reject GOd, punished yet again. Well we know from prophecy, assuming you dont subscribe to replacement theology etc , that the only time the Jews will accept Jesus Christ collectively is when Christ returns at head of his army to save the last few standing and the last few hiding in hills from THE Antichrist.

Thanks. I had decided that I would live my life today best I can, follow and trust my Lord, and just not try to decide how God plans our future except I can trust Him. So I let the why of gathering Jews in the Holy Land go, except that it is part of His plan and I don't want to stand in the way of His plan in any way. I think I and ostriches have that in common, they say they bury their head in the sand.

It is quite a study, good luck with it! I am doing my best with Daniel right now, and it is deep plowing that necessarily includes Rev. and I could use your brain! But we must not derail this wonderful thread.

God the Father of Christ whom the believer is translated to and taught by Father through the Holy Ghost that God sealed the believer in, is the final authority, teaching us truth, the truth that sets us free and many have been taught this truth that have never read the Bible let alone KJV, for God is righteous and the only one that is.
I have personally compared the word of all the different translations, and as I do this I listen for God through the Holy Ghost to separate error from truth, and man has over the years changed words that changed meaning(s) period.
therefore put no trust in flesh, not even in my own, thinking I am a good boy, when there is only one good and that is God
As Christ said it to that rich man that walked away sad because he couldn't give up his worldly possessions over gaining life forever with Christ and Father
Matt 19, and that is where it is shown, and asked by the disciples after seeing this rich man walk away very sad, they asked
Well then Jesus how is it possible for anyone to enter heaven?
Jesus said it straight With Man it is IMPOSSIBLE, with God it is possible.
The Rich and the Kingdom of God

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
[SUP]17 [/SUP]“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
[SUP]18 [/SUP]“Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, [SUP]19 [/SUP]honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’”
[SUP]20 [/SUP]“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
[SUP]22 [/SUP]When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
[SUP]25 [/SUP]When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. [SUP]29[/SUP]And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

[SUP]30[/SUP]

But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

Matthew 19:16-30

King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
[SUP]26 [/SUP]But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

What is said different in the truth revealed with both versions?
Well it would seem that the message is the same. But which of the modern versions were you using Homwardbound?

Here is the thing though, I will do a comparison between the King James Bible and the message bible. And you tell me whether or not if you can discern the difference. And if you can discern the New Age agenda behind the Message bible (translation).

Acts 7:59 (King James Bible):

59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying,Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

Acts 7:59 (Message):

As the rocks rained down, Stephen prayed, "Master Jesus, take my life."

Acts 11:20 (King James Bible):

20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

Acts 11:20 (Message):

20
Then some of the men from Cyprus and Cyrene who had come to Antioch started talking to Greeks, giving them the Message of the Master Jesus.

2 Corinthians 4:4
(King James Bible):

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (Message):

14 And what we believe is that the One who raised up the Master Jesus will just as certainly raise us up with you, alive.

Revelation 22:20-21 (King James Bible)

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Revelation 22:20-21 (Message)

20 He who testifies to all these things says it again: "I'm on my way! I'll be there soon!" Yes! Come, Master Jesus! 21 The grace of the Master Jesus be with all of you. Oh, Yes!

Exodus 34:6 (King James Bible)

6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Exodus 34:6
(Message)

6 God passed in front of him and called out, "God, God, a God of mercy and grace, endlessly patient - so much love, so deeply true -

Deuteronomy 32:8 (King James Bible)

8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 32:8
(Message)

8 When the High God gave the nations their stake, gave them their place on Earth, He put each of the peoples within boundaries under the care of divine guardians.

John 17:23 (King James Bible)

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

John 17:23
(Message)

23 I in them and you in me. Then they'll be mature in this oneness, And give the godless world evidence That you've sent me and loved them In the same way you've loved me.

1 Corinthians 10:17
(King James Bible)

17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Corinthians 10:17
(Message)

17 Because there is one loaf, our many-ness becomes one-ness - Christ doesn't become fragmented in us. Rather, we become unified in him. We don't reduce Christ to what we are; he raises us to what he is.

Exodus 25:30
(King James Bible)

30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

Exodus 25:30
(Message)

30
"Always keep fresh Bread of the Presence on the Table before me. The Lampstand

John 3:13 (King James Bible)

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

John 3:13 (Message)

13 "No one has ever gone up into the presence of God except the One who came down from that Presence, the Son of Man.

Revelation 20:11
(King James Bible)

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Revelation 20:11
(Message)

11 I saw a Great White Throne and the One Enthroned. Nothing could stand before or against the Presence, nothing in Heaven, nothing on earth.

1 Corinthians 10:17
(Message)

17 Because there is one loaf, our many-ness becomes one-ness - Christ doesn't become fragmented in us. Rather, we become unified in him. We don't reduce Christ to what we are; he raises us to what he is.

Exodus 25:30

Exodus 25:30
(Message)

30
"Always keep fresh Bread of the Presence on the Table before me. The Lampstand

John 3:13 (King James Bible)

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

John 3:13 (Message)

13 "No one has ever gone up into the presence of God except the One who came down from that Presence, the Son of Man.

Revelation 20:11
(King James Bible)

Revelation 20:11
(Message)

11 I saw a Great White Throne and the One Enthroned. Nothing could stand before or against the Presence, nothing in Heaven, nothing on earth.

Does any two people interpret words in the same way, and is why there are so many sides to get to the same place all through Jesus.
Now if one will read in context, one might get the true meaning of the whole, yet never in their own flesh, for all Scripture is Spiritually discerned, So I am posting just the message in context and one see what exactly happened in Acts 7
[h=3]Acts 7:51-60[/h]The Message (MSG)

[SUP]51-53 [/SUP]“And you continue, so bullheaded! Calluses on your hearts, flaps on your ears! Deliberately ignoring the Holy Spirit, you’re just like your ancestors. Was there ever a prophet who didn’t get the same treatment? Your ancestors killed anyone who dared talk about the coming of the Just One. And you’ve kept up the family tradition—traitors and murderers, all of you. You had God’s Law handed to you by angels—gift-wrapped!—and you squandered it!”
[SUP]54-56 [/SUP]At that point they went wild, a rioting mob of catcalls and whistles and invective. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, hardly noticed—he only had eyes for God, whom he saw in all his glory with Jesus standing at his side. He said, “Oh! I see heaven wide open and the Son of Man standing at God’s side!”
[SUP]57-58 [/SUP]Yelling and hissing, the mob drowned him out. Now in full stampede, they dragged him out of town and pelted him with rocks. The ringleaders took off their coats and asked a young man named Saul to watch them.

[SUP]59-60 [/SUP]As the rocks rained down, Stephen prayed, “Master Jesus, take my life.” Then he knelt down, praying loud enough for everyone to hear, “Master, don’t blame them for this sin”—his last words. Then he died.

So by the context the meaning comes out to those that God will reveal the truth to. Now if one just holds onto the KJV as the only way to Heaven, the only way one will know truth is not true, for God is not physical, not flesh as Jesus was and once known in the flesh now today no more, and Any book is a Book, to put the Bible above God is having other God's before God
who is a Spirit and can today only be worshipped in Spirit and truth. No other way

The Message when I go for just john 4:23-24 is brings up 21-24 to keep it in context

[h=3]John 4:23-24[/h]The Message (MSG)

[SUP]21-23 [/SUP]“Believe me, woman, the time is coming when you Samaritans will worship the Father neither here at this mountain nor there in Jerusalem. You worship guessing in the dark; we Jews worship in the clear light of day. God’s way of salvation is made available through the Jews. But the time is coming—it has, in fact, come—when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter.
[SUP]23-24 [/SUP]“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”

Do we understand the meaning here?

[h=3]John 4:23-24[/h]New Life Version (NLV)

[SUP]23 [/SUP]The time is coming, yes, it is here now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father wants that kind of worshipers.

[SUP]24 [/SUP]God is Spirit. Those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

[SUP]23 [/SUP]But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]
For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

[h=3]John 4:23-24[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]23 [/SUP]But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

[h=3]John 4:23-24[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]23 [/SUP]But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Same message different wording, do you really think God can be tricked and that man can rewrite with wrong intent, publish the word as the inerrant truth and man actually deceive God? No way, nor you with the KJV only doctrine.
God is God and God will and has accomplished what God has set out to accomplished, God already accomplished salvation for us all those of us that believe and are going to be if not already set free, God is not mocked. God is not a liar, man is and man by his own selfish ways does continue to get in the way of God, and is trying to make a mockery of God, I personally am just glad that God did gives us free choice and God will not interfere in that and cries out to us all to trust God, and all one is left with after the cross is either to believe God or not. God never once in any scripture say KJV is my final version to you all. No where is that written and man has taken this up and is deceiving many in the process over this
Pleas go on reading your KJV, and see truth I hope and pray, not to take anyone as a captive to see things your way and your groups way only. God called all of us to freedom and the purpose of this freedom is not for one to continue in Sin, Rather to be freed from sin in the Spirit of God
I got saved from the Living Bible Paraphrased. It was not that version that I got saved by, it was God himself
All in love to you, and God just love you and all the world, God is just waiting for ones free choice to choose awaredly 100% aware of their choice and then I am sure the end will follow.
Unpack your bags, the guilt trip is over, rest in God as God has rested since the foundation of the world

Who are drawn of God will be saved and God does draw through the cross of his precious Son, yet not all do finalize the cross as being 100% forgiven right then and there by Christ's death.
That is because once they hear this they are distracted into a works program of some sort to love everyone except those in their gathering.
And we are not to have divisions???????????????????????? Hmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! something is wrong, pack your bags we are going on a guilt trip
GOD PLAINLY JUST LOVES US ALL, SHOWN TO US ALL BY THE CROSS OF CHRIST.

1) Keep the Book, the word of God and God first place in your life. And when I say the word of God, I am talking about the Authorized King James Bible. Since it is the Book that God has blessed.

I'm sorry I had to laugh at that - Mary is the the one who God has blessed, shall I worship her? Which KJV? - there were 3 translations in 1611

Jesus used the Septuagint - a modern translation. If your really serious about knowing scripture this way - you should get Hebrew and Greek bibles with translators - but then you have to translate them into old english - because I guess that is superior to our language today - Do you speak old english to others?
