History of the Millennium

o Jewish Origins

· “Millennium,” Encyclopedia Britannica, eleventh edition, page 459
“’In six days God created the world, on the seventh He rested. But a day of God is equal to a thousand years (Psalm 90:4).
psalm 90:4 says "a thousand years is LIKE a day."

It was simply a simile that was pointing to the eternal part of God. It isnt a fact, it has the word "like" it did not say a day for God is a thousand years for us.

this is false because it says genesis 2:2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doingl so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

It is clearly in past tense. therefore, the seventh day of rest already happened.

Genesis 2:17 You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for the day you eat of it you will surely die.

Genesis 5:5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.

2 Peter 3:8 do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

- Adam died spiritually, and eventually would die physically because sin brings death - i don't think you can connect those two things - just saying
