The connection is actually quite simple and biblical.

1. The bible says we LOVE based on the fact that JESUS first loved us. (we have to EXPERIENCE Gods love before we have the capacity to love)
2. The bible says whoever repents, and trusts in his plan of salvation will be made alive, and given ETERNAL life. (this is how a child of God experiences Gods complete love, in that no greater love has any man then he lay his life down for the one he loved, We are saved SOLELY on the cross of Christ, which included his death.
3. Those who are saved, have been adopted into his family, Made joint heirs of his fortune, and forgiven of all our sins, As children, We experience Gods TRUE LOVE every day of our lives. in many ways, some we probably do not even know yet. so this gives us even MORE capacity to love.
4. Jesus said, Love the lord our God and our Neighbor, in these two commands are ALL THE LAW and prophets. So as we learn to love, and others more, and learn to love self less. The law and the prophets are being fulfilled in our lives. And of course all this points back to the point God loved us first (Adoption and [passing from death to life ETERNAL)
5. We also (as true children) have been given the HS, who will gladly chasten when we get out of line and lead us back to the path we want to follow (no child of God wants to live in sin, anyone who says they do does not know what it means to be a christian, As the apostle John said, A child of God can not sin, because they have been born of God, A person who sins has never seen God or known him, It is all quite clear.

SO the path and connection is simple. if we just look deeply into it.

God loves us (the cross) this is turn (when we repent and trust in him) causes God to adopt us into his family and give us eternal life, This in turn starts us on the path of learning to love as God loved us, The more we learn, the more we grow. And this by direct relation, causes us to be obedient. (if we love God, which we do, We will obey him)

to the OP. If all your going to do is say I am wrong, and do like you always do and say I ignore half of this or that, (Your usual tacktic to people who do agree wiht you) Do not bother.

Either respond to what I said with counterpoints, Or don't bother responding at all. let the people decide.

You people ignore/reject all kinds of NT verses
because you have been led astray by your pastors!

These false shepherds who have destroyed Jesus' sheep are headed for hell.

The reason for this horrible situation: Satan's deceptions + man's sinful flesh.
Your the one who has been decieved my friend, Your teaching modern day pharisee-ism.

My last word to you is (once again) is only for the benefit of others:

I have reconciled ...
the so-called OSAS NT verses with the anti-OSAS NT verses!

You, and your grace-only OSAS friends, have NOT done this at all.
You deceived ones have NOT even attempted to explain the anti-OSAS NT verses!
You consider them to be misunderstood, impossible to be truth, etc.

The simplest anti-OSAS verses are in Rev 13 & 14 ...
if you take the mark of the beast, you lose your salvation (if you ever had it).

Sanctification needs our cooperation. Obedience is part of that. God totally justifies, but the Bible, is clear we need to follow and obey Christ.

"And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23

It is never legalism to obey God and follow him!

It is quite pathetic indeed that only 3 of us here know this to be true!
3 so far anyway.
It is an explanation of the pathetic condition of most of the western churches.

You still replace grace with works.

Paul said if anyone teach a gospel other than the one he taught, let him be damned. Even if it is an angel in heaven.

So I will stand on Gods word.. And be the tax collector on my knees, You continue to be the pharisee pumping your chest wiht your fists. That's your right, if you so desire.

If we were talking about sanctification I would agree, And if we can ever get legalism out of CC, we may be able to actually discuss sanctification.

But we are not, We are speaking of eternal life, and salvation.

If we try to save our self by our good deeds. We will fall short. Because we fall short of Gods standard.
and no amount of work can remove 1 sin, Let alone the million we all are guilty of since birth.

This is hilarious....MOST western churches teach a works based false gospel......and they just give up because deep down they know they cannot live up to a working for salvation false gospel.....

MANY will say to me in that day...LORD LORD have we not done MANY WONDERUL WORKS in YOUR name.....the problem will be that JESUS never knew them because the attempted to come by a different door...a door based upon human merit and work instead of FAITH....

SAVED, JUSTIFIED and SANCTIFIED (all past tense) in Christ as applied unto our ETERNAL, BORN AGAIN SPIRIT.........

OUR DAILY WALK is a WORK in process which has NOTHING to do with our eternal STANDING in Christ before God the FATHER.....hopefully you wake up to this before it is too late!

Amen, I HAVE BEEN SAVED by God mercy not my own works of righteousness. Not "I am being saved" or "I might be saved"

My salvation is a completed fact.

and it is based on this fact that I can pick up my cross daily and walk with no fear. but do it while resting in christ.

Okay, you think Matthew Henry knows everything spiritual?
Did he have Jesus' special anointing of the baptism with the Holy Spirit
with the initial evidence (of receiving this) of speaking in tongues?

IMO, God the holy Spirit is NOT successful in all cases
because man has the free will to reject co-operating with Him.

Some born-again believers just simply choose to be slaves of sin ...
over being slaves of obedience-righteousness-holiness, which lead to eternal life
(see this necessary choice in Romans 6).

Art thou cognizant of the several dire warnings in the NT to the churches,
which are directly related to the losing of eternal life?

Then, there are other dire warnings (which are also ignored),
which are directly related to the gaining of eternal death?

nope. not true

Because then salvation would be by works, Not by grace. and the bible would contradict itself.

Plus, If I can lose eternal life, it is not eternal.. Thus God gave me something that is deceptive. for it is not what it claims to be.

The Bible is not nearly as simple as you are.

This is for others who are open to spiritual Truth ...

God has all of the bases covered ... Scripturally, He can bless or condemn whomever He wishes!

Those who are being led by God's Spirit are sons of God.

(He is indwelling us for a purpose ... one is to continually lead us into "all truth".)

Your right, He has all the basis covered. I do not. That's why HE MUST SAVE ME, and I have to STOP trusting myself.

But you seem to not understand this, and want to keep trusting yourself and in your own abilities, and claim God lied when he said I HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

Well thanks, But I will trust him ok?

Sorry, in context none of them teaches one can lose that which eternal...Ecclesiastes 3:14 is clear...WHATSOEVER means exactly that...WHATSOEVER GOD DOES IT IS ETERNAL...to say that one can lose salvation contradicts that verse amongst hundreds of other verses in context that teaches eternal security...

ETERNAL is EVERLASTING
Eternal IS NOT temporary

It is funny...you cannot even grasp the word eternal and yet you know what the bible teaches.....

I am telling you....it is amazing how any people have no clue that the word eternal means exactly that...everlasting...they all call God a liar when they say that you can lose ETERNAL life that is a gift based upon the faith and work of Jesus...

God is clear...If you believe and confess Jesus as Lord=eternal life<---whatsoever God does...IT IS EVERLASTING..Ecc 3:14
to say you can lose eternal life is to say that what God does is NOT ETERNAL....calling God a liar...!

(you) want to keep trusting yourself and in your own abilities
10,000 years from now ... you still will NOT get it ...

I want to keep trusting ALL of the verses in the NT.

Thou just simply do not ... and not even close to boot.
