And you added to it by claiming sinlessness!
I claim to abide in Christ.

"Anyone who claims to abide in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked." -1 John 2:6

Where is your problem with me coming from?

You are claiming to be sinless - that is not biblically tenable!

If you love the sinful things that you do, then you are not born again. A born again person will hate falling into sin after a long fight with temptation to prevent it. The scripture says there is an escape out of temptation, but do not always work with us. A battle lost, but a war being won in the end. We cry for forgiveness after committing a sin we try not to commit ,and guess what, We have A father in Heaven that is just to forgive. David cried out with all his heart every time he sinned, and God said, a man after my own heart. He was forgiven everytime

Is it "biblically tenable" to abide in Christ and walked as He walked?
So, you not going to engage with the fact that you have made claims that you cannot back up.
My post you challenged - but with nothing more than sloganeering!

Just answer the question: Do you claim to be sinless or not?

I claim to be walking the path that leads to eternal life. I know few there be that find it. I claim to have confessed my sins and I claim to be cleansed of all unrighteousness by Jesus Christ. I will not say that I will never sin again but I will claim that when I am tempted to sin I pray that God will give me the strength to endure the temptation.

"Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him." -James 1:12

And what happens when you do sin?

The devil's greatest lie?
That Jesus is not the Messiah, that He's not God in the flesh.

You were the one who brought judgement against me in post #60 saying "SHAME ON YOU"?.. what have I done other than claim to abide in Christ?
I read every post you have posted on this thread.
You were objecting to anyone who noted the reality of sin in the lives of the believer.
You made it quite clear that you did not agree that sin was a reality for a believer.

I called you to account for a very poor choice of Scripture that does not say what you think it does.
I put that verse in its context and explained what it did mean and you came back and argued the point...
Anyone reading the thread will come to the same conclusion.
