What of male circumcision? How does it apply to non-Jews, the Gentile believers? Your answer will deny your comment, or justify it, nothing in between.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

is it a commandment ?

I believe people do not understand the whole context of what it means to steal. It is more than taking some item that does not belong to you. We can steal time. we can steal lots of things, and because people are not stealing an object, they think they do not steal. that was my point. Of course if you were listening, you might know that.

It is Gods command for dunnies. we are the dummies, We can not even keep the ten. So I stand by what I said.
Now your trying to confuse what stealing is when it's pretty simple. It's actual theft. We know what we are doing rather it's wrong or right.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
He did, did he not?

He never broke one command
He was the lamb, led to slaughter who was slain for our sin
He fulfilled the prophesies of the suffering servant who would die for the sins of the people

He did what we could not do. if we could do it, he would not have had to come.

He did not come to destroy the law is the point, He came that He could die for our sins, that we have a chance at a new life with Him, here and after.

We follow Jesus' instructions as
laid out in the Gospels and in the writings of the Apostles which leave out much of the 613 OT laws GIVEN TO Israel and not the Church. And these correspond to God's nature which dwells in us through the new birth and Holy Spirit.
But they had nothing to do with what I was referring to i.e. the rest we have through Christ's righteousness and not our own. ..we merit nothing through law keeping.
the only thing we merit by following the law is a self righteous attitude that we have somehow arrived and are good. Rejecting the fact we have not made it yet, and stop us from growing in Christ

I guess another would be a poor soul stuck in legalism, that realizes his sin, and gets frustrated and fearfull of the fact he can not live up to the demands the lawyers place on them.

Here are some passages from post-Messiah Sacrifice, that are literal quotes from Him (Messiah)

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

1785. entolé
Definition: an ordinance, injunction, command, law.

Revelation 14:12, "In this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of Yahweh, (in conformity) with the faith in Yahshua Messiah."

1785. entolé
Definition: an ordinance, injunction, command, law.

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

Isayah 8:20, "To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

maybe the question isn't, shouldn't we have the power to obey God.

maybe the question is, are we actually doing it??

to the degree God's Law truly requires, are we (and let's be honest)
doing it?

as I look to the law (the whole law) I can say for a fact I fail, I can't do it.

I wont speak

Mattithyah 5:19, "Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."
who is teaching anyone it is ok to break Gods commands.

Yet again people make claims, but they are false.

So what good of a point is it? He did what we could not do. Thats the point.

So how do we keep those laws? By following moses, or following Christ and learning to live as he did?

Gentile believers are still circumcised.

Romans 2:29
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Your question brings to the forefront the difference between the letter and the spirit of God's law.

Unfortunately, many misinterpret it as the following...

The Law of God (assumed to be coined "The Letter")
Vs.
The Spirit of God

When in truth, the proper relationship is...

The Law Of God

The Letter of it
The Spirit of it

Man will always misinterpret letters of any kind (whether intentionally or unintentionally): forum posts, document, books, etc...and this is the case for God's law. We read it and, depending on how we've received it, we'll will come to completely different understandings...just look at how many denominations there are based on interpretation of scripture. This is why the Holy Spirit is needed as interpreter.

Circumcision of the heart has *always* been a part of God's law, with the circumcision of the flesh being the *outward sign*...just like baptism is the outward sign of the death of the old man, while the actual death has to be on the inside of a believer as we're supposed to die daily to our flesh, renewing our mind in Christ.

Deuteronomy 30:6
The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Jeremiah 4:4
Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, circumcise your hearts, you people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, or my wrath will flare up and burn like fire because of the evil you have done-- burn with no one to quench it.

You should know better, Schiz. I hear you. CC sorely needs a Dead Letter Office, for those questions that get too pesky. Can't even get a Scribe to tell me whether eating a Kosher dill on Friday evening gets extra points or not.

What are you saying here then, your saying we can't keep the ten, which is a farce. Then you say your not telling anyone to brake them...what sense does that make ?
lol.

If you could keep the ten, christ would not have had to come.

Face it dude, you can not keep the first command 24/7 no one can, Anytime you DO ANYTHING in an attidude of self, you are breaking the first.

If you read pau, you will see the more mature in Christ, the more you get know know God and who he is, the more of a sinner you realise you really are. How wretched you are.

I once was lost, but now I'm found ... Period... I couldn't when I was a sinner, but now that I'm christian, I do, and can with my will keep the Ten Commandments.
