But,but,but where did any of the writers of scripture say that God would be doing something "new" in the NT? I are confused. (Or perhaps someone else is trying to confuse me)

any idea what happens to a person who speaks First Person Voice verbatim claiming it is God speaking directly through them?
your proposal that it's okay for a prophet who claims God is channeling His Own voice directly through them ["I say to you....I am going to.....I will.....I this or that"] is allowed to get it wrong is a damnable heresy.

I don't know I thought the reason we were given the written word was so that we would not be led astray. If it doesn't line up with scripture could it perhaps be that there may just be a bit of a problem?
Well i rekon if Jesus said the Holyspirit would never speak of Himself. And you believe that.
Then see if "YOU" get any new stuff.

The "New" mantles this year come in three styles and all colors.

Revelation 21
The New Heaven and the New Earth
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
According to this groups writings they are "New" as far as Apostles and Prophets go.
They even admit that church had a history of cessation. Which should have really shocked
their followers
In this "new" "thing" they say God is doing far exceeds what the original Apostles did.
So therefore they cant be held to the bible. Because God is doing something "new"
In one book it says to question them is equivilent to the unforgivable sin
So Sarah youll have to find someone to pray for you to open your eyes...since i see
you have "God in a box"
