Just curiously thinking, I wonder what kind of butcher job Hollywood would do on a movie covering the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah?
I've always been annoyed that with Hollywood films about the American Revolution the British are always made to look downright villainous.

Note: My ancestors were United Empire Loyalists (UEL). They were the good guys. :)

The director is a self-proclaimed atheist.
Now that's interesting. I wonder if he has an agenda? After reading your comment I looked up his statements about the film. He's not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes as openly admits the film is not a carbon-copy of the Flood account. He admits he's taken liberties. All the same, it may be an entertaining film.

This is the biggest dissappointment, the most messed-up rendition of scripture that has even met the silver screen!!
~Nowhere are the people that chastize Noah for his building of the arc;
~Noah and his family are almost hermetic in their existance of solitude;
~Noah never prays, but rather shouts at God to answer his questions;
~The whole scenario of God destroying the earth is given to Noah in a dream rather than God actually speaking to him.
~All of his sons are mere children at the building; NONE are married at the launch;
~there is a stowaway enemy aboard when the 'ship sails'.
~transformer-type rock monsters that talk are angels....'watchers' with ability to help or not help mankind;
~Noah is hell-bent on destroying humanity, to the point of murdering his own granddaughters.

The list goes on.

Don't waste your money unless you like TRUE 'LITERARY LICENSE' to be your version of entertainment for the evening.

I think it's fair to say that Hollywood + Endtime Deceptions = Don't Bother. Entertainment is one thing, but Hollywood is owned and operated by, for lack of a better term, luciferians. For those who don't know what those are, let's just say that they would never, ever promote anything that is truly biblical... and they really don't like God one bit. And that's an extremely modest way to put it. I think that a lot of what will surface in our times will totally upset a lot of people for not seeing it coming. Watch movies for entertainment, but don't expect a witch who feeds you goodies while you're locked in a cage to actually have any good intentions for you whatsoever. I say no to 'Noah'. There are far better fictional movies out there to spend my money and time on.

Please don't support this movie brothers and sisters. Go see God's NOT dead instead.

Theologian Blasts Christian Leaders Fooled Into Endorsing Kabbalah, Gnostic Version of 'Noah'[/QUOTE

Thanks for your article. I totally agree with the authors of the article. One quotes at the end:

"At the time, I had no idea where his ideas [for the movie 'Noah'] had come from, but that the director was trying to lead people away from the God of the Old Testament was blatantly and sickeningly obvious. Indeed, 'shame on everyone who bought it.' Especially those who should have known better."

Hollywood is always 'obviously' working on affecting or infecting people with anti-Christ and hateful thoughts in general. This movie is no different. The article is a good one to read before seeing the movie so at least you know that it isn't 'artistic license' you're looking at and the real intention of the movie is made clear.

hollywoood doesn't care if you like the movie or agree with it, or if you hate it or are offended by it.

all they care about is if you buy a ticket to see it or add it to your netflix queue.

Has anyone seen this film yet? On British TV the other day they had Russell Crow making an idiot of himself on Graham Norton Show, he talked about the film and basically said a truthful thing, "Has anyone criticising it actully watched it?".

So has anyone seen it?

Totally agree! Can you even imagine if they made a movie about Mohammed and the Koran and then butchered their verses? The entire Muslim world would be in an uproar over even showing a depiction of Mohammed, let alone twisting their doctrine. Such a movie would not even get off the ground, but they can take something from the Bible and completely butcher it and it is ok.
I guess christians could become as violent and irrational as muslims then?

Also why are people surprised at this? one look at the trailer should have been enough to realize it wasnt going to be like ten commandments movie of old

It looks like the truth getting out about this satanic movie is paying off. Thanks to all you Christians for getting the word out. Last week at our Bible study the youth Pastor told us he was going to take the teens to see it. I told him about the deception the atheist director was attempting and he was very grateful and said he'd try and take them to see the awesome "God is NOT dead".

I saw it Saturday night. And the OP is correct in things she said.
One alarming thing to me was they never said "God" in the movie. They always referred to Him as "The Creator".

I will be honest. that would not bother me if...

1. The showed noah preaching to the people to try to save them
2. They did not have a stow away (someone saved)
3. They admited this was Gods judgment on mankind.

They also showed that Methuselah was washed away in the flood bc he was craving berries and was out looking for some to eat.
Noah was the cause of Ham's girlfriend being killed.
The rock people/watchers/transformers/nephilum were kicked out of Heaven and then died and were accepted back to Heaven.
Noah got the wood to build the ark from a magic seed Methusalah have him. When he planted the seed and entire forest popped up.
It only took 10 years to build the ark.

It seems weird that it veers from the Christian Old testament account so much. I heard it was based on Wider Jewish scriptural sources.

I hope it wasn't just made up stuff.

I also heard the director was a Jew, not an Atheist.
