Actually....

The Burgess shale was kept secret by (grr I forget his name this late) the director of the Smithsonian who was told about it turn of twentieth c. It alluded to what we now know as the Cambrian explosion which entirely unravels current evolutionary theory. I dated an evolutionary biologist and he was so mad when I laid that all out for him...how gills, eyes, legs all sprouted at the same time and not in some defined evolutionary pattern. It was like, voila, create, creation. Anyway he died with a few hundred thousand of these shale fossils in his 'secret' Smithsonian laboratory...knowing it would put his colleagues out of work. They are still delusional on the matter to keep the dream alive. (shhh...)

Ji seems to have a distaste for everything though. I've read many of his threads and much of the time all he does is condemns people and things.

i am aware of that Tintin .
i am Praying on the matter to control temper.

But am not the one who is condemning,you feel so because you think am wrong in my analysis.
condemnation preachers never testify about their lives,and hide their life situations about matters that they condemn some poor soul coming to find solution from his/her bondage.

i just replied to this comment of yours to avoid misunderstanding.
But yea,i have a prob with short temper.

But :D,i have to admit sometimes temper was the thing that made me move on when depression began to take its adverse effects in the past.So angry that devilish depressive presence goes and i am well and sound again.

the days of noah fallen angels or sons of god (which one is it ) where doing things they should not have so the lord cleansed the earth. and because of man was bad according to this movie God wiped them out.

was Satan wiped out (he was a fallen angel to) he was not wiped out because the new testament says he will come like a thief in the night.

I don't like this subject one bit. but Satan is a fallen angel and unless some one can tel me other wise is he bound as well ?

I think that the only possible explanation is that giants existed because they had an illness which actual exists to day,

its a gene that make the bone grow and grow and until that person get its removed they will keep growing until they hit the ceiling i know about this.

i have researched this and many people who are 7 foot 6 today have had that gene removed when they where little because otherwise they would be 10 foot tall.

This matter of "the sons of God" and "the daughters of men" is something that has caused no end of discussion. There are a great many good men who take the position that "the sons of God" were angels. I personally cannot accept that at all. alot of teachers teach that the sons of God were angels, and I recognize that a great many of the present-day people take that position. However, I cannot accept that view, because, if these were good angels, they would not commit this sin, and evil angels could never be designated as "sons of God." Also, the offspring here were men; they were not monstrosities.

Bottom line was not God angry over the people taking others by force and not giving them room to speak as they thought, Man was in the thoughts of and still is today in the thoughts of what can "I" do to get ahead, and not care about if they harm their neighbor(s)

At least this is what I see God as saying in that day, how God regretted man, to not have love for all, only those that loved them back, and this is shown in the story of Noah and in the days of Christ here on this earth

Luke 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

Father found Noah as righteous why? Because Noah thought about others and did noit derail others, he loved others by believing God to love us all.
Gos was and is righteous in wanting to destroy evil was God not? Yet God still had Mercy on us all and sent his Son to redeem us, and to preach to all those in prison, telling them their redeemer lives and if they believe him, he will take them out of that prison they were all in, prior to his resurrection

Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

The gift, Life Eternal, through and by Son's perfect work here on earth , whom Father is pleased in. The only flesh that Father is pleased in and is why we are to reckon self dead to flesh with Christ's death at the cross, so that we can see the new life given to us by Father through Son. A gift mind you a Gift

Sons of God issue, were they the fallen angels, the third that went with Lucifer, who by pride wanted to be the center of everything, kind of like the flesh of man wants to be noticed, the Center of all.
So then could this be why Paul, kept saying be dead to sin flesh and alive to God in the Spirit of God.
What I am saying Brother if one wants to stop that short temper, maybe the only way is through Son, as in seeing you by Son dead to flesh sin? Being co-crucified with Christ at the cross of, way back then, and thus be resurrected in Spirit by Father in the new life, now worshiping Father in Spirit (not flesh) and truth beyond measure to this world, that has to earn everything, nothing free in this world
Yet Father through Son is the only one that gives things free, starting with life-everlasting in Spirit and truth through Son's finished work for you and the whole world, if one decides to beleive Father, that it is done through Son

Agree with what you said.
That's why i am Praying for Godly Peace to keep me in control when people say things in a funny without realizing the importance.
(After all,who cares for the lonely except God?)

But no,i don't claim to be all knowing.And i admit am not perfect.
Not at all any arguments there..
Learning new things each day and taking the Struggle to correct myself first.

It is a sign of good spiritual health to be offended by blatant butchery of the Holy Bible. True Christians are interested in true Biblical History not it lies modified to cater to the whim of confused entertainment seekers.

I have give this movie some for thought and i think that maybe the directors was wanting to realy drive the message how important it was for Noah's ark to be saved. because Noah realized how important it was for his people to be saved.

I see that the watchers are still in existence because there is scripture that say children of gods guardians are always looking in the face of God.

So thats where i am with the watchers they took pity and disobeyed and crashed to earth to save us. from the fallen one.

at the beginning of the movie the watchers where being killed quite easily and then when flood started to rise there where not many watchers left so at this point i believe it was a bit of inspiration thinking from the directors to make you have hope that Noah s ark might be saved. Because i was fearing the worst after seeing the fallen angels easily wiped out at the beginning ) I thought there going to get battered please do your best to defend the ark, (the ark is also the ten commandments.) IN A SPIRITUAL SENSE)
and on this basis now i now see the directers intentions and i actually now applaud it. i see that the intentions where purely spiritual to make you have hope .

I'm suprised lots of you don't like the Noah movie. You like paraphrased Bibles. You like the add to amplified Bible. But when they do it in movies you get upset. We treasure things like the U.S constitution more than the Bible. Would you let Obama paraphrase the constitution for everyone? Laws would completely change. But you like it when it happens to the Bible. We are more invested in our culture than the kingdom.

Well I don't like most movies because it adds the director's nuance and drags out the story line with little added value but visual imagery. You lose the cultural context of the story a bit. I like written word better, always.

Yes, but you think any Bible that isn't the KJV or NKJV translation is a paraphrase.

I hope not. The KJV is okay, but I like the NASB. In some cases, I think that the NIV explains things better, but that would be the exception, not the rule. NASB is the best that I have used, but I wish that they didn't take some of the liberties that they do. However, if they didn't I would probably have a harder time reading it. I would like a translation that says things the way that they are said instead of the way that the translator thinks it should say. And it would be nice if a scripture would include things like what kind of love is being discussed (I am sure you know what I'm talking about).

P.S. Noah - I thought I should include that so that I am still on topic.
