18*For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19*Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Well, I didn't mean the existence of Scripture wasn't necessary. But, when it comes to the goal of God, our salvation, He has made Himself known within us, as the book of Romans states. And as far as the gospel of our salvation, we all know faith comes by hearing, this is a work spoken from the beginning. I heard about God, I believed in Him, this, imo, is the primary step in a sequence of order.

If you knew nothing of the bible, how would you know what salvation is? The bible's central message is redemption through Jesus Christ.

I had the job once of supervising the creation of hiking trails, then making maps of them available to the public. In my erlier attempts I sometime neglected to warn of hazards, while focusing on the trail features. A few times hikers wandered off into deadly scenarios.

The Bible lays out the whole plan of God concerning the path man has taken versus the path God laid out.

Discover HIS path to do well. Know the Bible. It will lead you to the end of the pleasant path.

There are Atheists whose knowledge of the Bible would put the average Christian to shame. A person has to believe that the Bible is from God in order to benefit from it oyjerwise its just another book.

1st Corinthians 2:12-15

King James Version(KJV)

12.)Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13.)Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14.)But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15.)But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

The Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ. From Genesis 3 to Revelation 22, the Bible was compiled so that we would recognize Jesus and be saved.

It has the words of life within the pages. It shows us how to know Jesus and to believe.

"Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”" JOhn 6:68-69

If needs be he can heal you without a doctor and sustain us with air alone but he chooses to use means like His Word and food.
It would seem so but every day seems to offer something new and unexpected. I've given up predicting where the Lord is going to take me next.

John 1:15-18
King James Version(KJV)

15.)John bare witness of HIM, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

16.)And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

17.)For the law was given by Moses, but GRACEand TRUTH came by JESUS CHRIST

18.)No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared HIM.

the foolishness of war, gave you the full bible.( history)old testament.
the new testament, came free of charge.

only if, you could ,see god, and the prophets were saying.

20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.Romans 1

more clearly, seen and understood, in todays world, ie the universe and planets, (that are round) and follow a set orbit.
and to think , would a round shape follow an or bit better that a square, and the other classic, a world that we live on spins , at a greater speed , that most of the airplanes or fastest car, humans have built.

The purpose of the bible is to bring us to God but also for him to bring himself to us, the bible is literally full of his heart and his power. I have seen first hand the kind of power that lays in those pages
in my first month of being saved as I had my bible in front of me on my bed I don't know why But i felt the need to place my right hand on the open pages at that very moment I overcome with one of the first experiences in which God interacted with me personally, I saw the power and the love of God flowing through the pages of the bible and a powerful fire came from within it's pages and consumed me my eyes became fire themselves with those eyes there was no secret that was hidden from me there was nothing in the bible I did not understand the power and love of God was overwhelming.

This was perhaps one of the first visions of sorts I ever received and I gained something from it, in that time I learned several things. The bible is like an onion or the earths crust it has many many layers the truths and secrets of God of his kingdom of his heart of who we are in him and to him run soo very deep withing those pages infinite layers of deeper truths of more of him.

i learned how a single scripture has more power in it than a nuke I learned that the bible is not like your average book it is the only supernatural item we have that is directly from him, when you hold the bible the word of God you are holding the very heart of God. Which is why I treasure it so much why I do not treat scripture as toy why i do not use it just for anything just to prove my point or to attempt to make it fit my beliefs.

All of this I learned withing about 10 second from one single supernatural experience. I don't think people understand what the bible really is and so they throw scripture around like it's nothing they use to condemn and to attack they use it to prove themselves right. Scripture is not a toy so i would be careful as to how you use it

I think some people forget that the purpose of the Bible is to lead us to the Lord – not the other way around.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

Therefore you need someone to explain the spiritual things of God to you because your mind cannot accept it.

Acts 8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
Acts 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

16*All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17*That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The Bible is the history of the world played out in different genres that stretch both the mind and the spirit. It's a history book concerned with God's love for humanity and for a restored relationship. It's God's Word, a book full of answers that points to the only Answer. The Bible reveals the heart of God. Its words (by way of Holy Spirit) transform us and bring glory to His name.

So have I.
That is why I try sticking to His Word.

1 John 5:13 KJVS
[13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

2 Timothy 2:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 2:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 2:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

There is only one teacher - God the Father. He might have you witness to me, or me witness to you, but we are not reliant on our fellow human beings for knowledge.
